오사카 맛집_규카츠 모토무라 루쿠아점 [Gyukatsu Motomura/牛かつもと村 ルクア店]

루쿠아 쇼핑몰 구경 후, 이른 저녁을 먹으러 규카츠집으로 갔어요. 줄이 길게 늘어서 있었는데, 배가 많이 고프진 않아서 일단 기다려보기로 했습니다. 대기자 중 90%는 한국인이더라고요.
After exploring the Lukua shopping mall a bit, we headed to a Tonkatsu restaurant for an early dinner. Despite the long queue, we weren't too hungry, so we decided to wait in line. Surprisingly, about 90% of the people waiting were Koreans.

입장이 가까워지면, 직원분이 오셔서 인원수 확인 후 주문을 미리 받아주셨어요. 한국사람들에게 인기있는 식당이라 그런지, 직원분들이 한국어도 정말 잘하셔서 깜짝 놀랐어요.
As we approached the entrance, a staff member came over to confirm the number of people and took our orders in advance.

메뉴는 규카츠 1종류라, 1장을 먹을지 1.5장을 먹을지 2장을 먹을지 결정하면 돼서 뭔가 간단하더라고요. 음료와 세트로도 주문할 수 있어요.
The menu offered only one type of gyukatsu, so you can make a decision of whether to have one, one and a half, or two servings. It was quite simple. You could also order drinks and sets as well.

입장 직전, 직원이 외투를 보관할지도 물어보시더라고요. 규카츠를 개인 화로에 구워먹다보니 매장 내부에 연기가 많이 발생하는데, 외투에 냄새가 벨 수 있어서 저는 맡기는 게 편했어요.
Just before entering, the staff also asked if we wanted to store our coats. Since gyukatsu is cooked individually on personal grills, it causes a lot of smoke inside the restaurant.

자리에는 개인 화로가 준비되어있고, 규카츠가 서빙될 때 불을 붙여주십니다.
At each table, there is a personal grill prepared, and the staff lights it when the gyukatsu is served.

아이와 함께 방문해서 유아 식기도 준비해 주셨어요.
The staff also provided utensils for children since I visited with my child.

규카츠는 기호에 따라 소스나 와사비와 함께 먹을 수 있어요. 밑반찬으로 함께 나온 명란도 맛있었고, 명란 왼쪽의 갈아 만든 마는 밥 위에 뿌려먹는 거라고 메뉴에 쓰여있는데, 저는 고기를 찍어먹기도 했어요.
Gyukatsu can be enjoyed with sauce or wasabi according to personal preference. The mentaiko served as a side dish was delicious, and according to the menu, the mashed yam is meant to be sprinkled over the rice. However, I also found it enjoyable to dip the gyukatsu into it.

왠지 하이볼도 마시고 싶어서, 하이볼 세트로 주문을 했었는데, 술알못은 무슨 맛인지 잘 모르겠더라는... 그냥 규카츠가 제일 맛있었어요.
I ordered the highball set, but as someone not familiar with alcohol, I didn't find it quite enjoyable... Anyway, the gyukatsu was the most delicious part for me.

저는 1.5장으로 주문했는데, 양이 보통인 어른이 먹기에 딱 적당한 양이었어요.
I ordered 1.5 servings, and it seemed just the right amount for an average adult's appetite.

규카츠의 고기는 지방을 인위적으로 첨가한 인공육이기 때문에 잘 익혀드시는 게 좋다고 합니다. 굽는 젓가락도 별도로 사용하라고 메뉴에 쓰여있었지만, 저는 귀찮아서 먹던 젓가락을 그대로 썼네요;
The gyukatsu meat contains artificially added fat, so it's best to cook it thoroughly. The menu also advised using separate chopsticks for cooking, but I found it too bothersome and used the same ones I was eating with.

고기는 정말 부드럽고 맛있어요. 밥은 1공기 리필이 가능해서 아이랑 먹기도 좋았습니다 :) 아는 맛이지만, 오사카에서 먹어서 더 특별하게 느껴졌어요.
The meat was incredibly tender and delicious. Being able to get a refill of rice made it great for sharing with my child :) Although it was a familiar dish to me, eating it in Osaka made the experience feel even more special.
