하와이 와이키키 디저트 맛집 추천 [Island Vintage Shave Ice]

하와이 여행에서 절대 빠질 수 없는 디저트 중 하나가 바로, 셰이브 아이스(Shave Ice)! 현지인들도 즐겨 먹고, 관광객들에게도 사랑받는 하와이 대표 간식 중 하나예요. 보통 빙수처럼 생각하기 쉽지만, 하와이의 셰이브 아이스는 얼음의 질감부터 토핑까지 특별한 매력이 있어요.
마지막 날 와이키키 해변을 따라 산책하다가, 가볍게 한 그릇 먹어보자는 마음으로 들어간 곳이 바로 Island Vintage Shave Ice였어요. 더운 날, 잠시 쉬어가기 딱 좋은 선택이었답니다 :)

A must-try dessert in Hawaii is Shave Ice! Loved by both locals and tourists, it’s a Hawaiian classic. Unlike regular shaved ice, Hawaiian shave ice has a unique, fine texture and special toppings that make it stand out.
On my last day in Waikiki, I spotted a colorful dessert shop while strolling along the beach. I decided to try it out—Island Vintage Shave Ice—a perfect place to cool off on a hot day.

제가 방문한 매장은, 와이키키 해변 바로 앞쪽에 위치한 매장이었어요. 생각보다 매장이 넓고 좌석도 여유 있게 마련돼 있어서, 안에서도 편하게 앉아 먹을 수 있었어요. 실내는 깔끔하고 밝은 분위기였고, 창밖으로는 해변 풍경이 보여서 잠시 더위를 식히며 쉬어가기 좋은 공간이었어요.
The shop is right by Waikiki Beach, spacious with plenty of seating. Inside is bright and clean, and the beach view adds to the relaxing vibe.

• Island Vintage Shave Ice는 셰이브 아이스를 메인으로, 보바티(버블티), 아이스크림, 주스 등 다양한 디저트와 음료를 판매하는 곳입니다.

Though the names are similar, they’re different spots.
• Island Vintage Coffee serves brunch, açai bowls, and Kona coffee—great for a relaxed meal or coffee.
• Island Vintage Shave Ice focuses on shave ice, plus bubble tea, ice cream, and juices.

다양한 굿즈도 판매

또 매장 한쪽에는 티셔츠, 텀블러, 머그컵, 에코백 같은 굿즈도 판매하고 있었는데, 하와이 감성이 묻어나는 디자인이라 기념품이나 선물로 사기 좋아보였어요. 특히 텀블러와 머그컵은 빈티지 스타일 디자인이 멋스러웠고, 티셔츠는 여름에 잘 어울리는 시원한 컬러가 많았습니다.
They also sell cute merchandise like T-shirts, tumblers, mugs, and eco-bags with a vintage Hawaiian style—perfect souvenirs.

Hawaiian Rainbow Shave Ice $10.95

제가 주문한 메뉴는 Hawaiian Rainbow Shave Ice와 Wedding Imperial Black Tea Boba였어요.

Hawaiian Rainbow Shave Ice는 이름처럼 무지개 색 시럽이 예쁘게 뿌려져 있고, 그 위에 코코넛 스피룰리나, 망고, 딸기맛 시럽이 올려져 있어요. 빙수 안에는 부드러운 소프트 아이스크림이 숨겨져 있고, 쫄깃한 모찌떡까지 토핑되어 있어 한 입 먹을 때마다 식감이 다채로웠어요.
Hawaiian Rainbow Shave Ice is topped with rainbow syrups—coconut spirulina, mango, and strawberry. The inside is soft-serve ice cream with chewy mochi on top. 

코코넛 스피룰리나는 코코넛 크림에 슈퍼푸드인 스피룰리나를 더한 토핑으로, 보기에도 예쁘고 맛도 부드러웠어요. 하와이 특유의 화사하고 달콤한 분위기를 한 그릇에 담은 디저트였습니다.
The coconut spirulina topping is made from coconut cream blended with the superfood spirulina. It’s a dessert that captures the bright and sweet vibes unique to Hawaii in every bite.

Wedding Imperial Black Tea Boba $9

함께 주문한 Wedding Imperial Black Tea Boba는 향긋한 홍차 베이스에 쫄깃한 보바가 들어간 음료였는데, 아쉽게도 보바가 뜨거운 상태에서 음료에 들어가 버블이 풀어져 있었어요. 덕분에 기대했던 쫀득한 식감이 덜해 조금 아쉬웠지만, 홍차의 향과 맛 자체는 괜찮았어요.
Wedding Imperial Black Tea Boba was a fragrant black tea drink with tapioca pearls. Unfortunately, the pearls were added while warm, so they weren’t as chewy as expected. Still, the tea was refreshing and tasty.

Kapiʻolani Regional Park

달콤한 셰이브 아이스와 시원한 음료로 더위를 식힌 뒤, 바로 근처에 있는 카피올라니 공원까지 걸어서 산책을 했어요. 푸른 잔디와 야자수가 어우러진 여유로운 분위기 속에서 하와이의 오후를 천천히 만끽할 수 있었습니다.

After cooling down with these treats, we took a short walk to Kapiolani Park nearby. With green lawns and swaying palms, it was a peaceful way to enjoy my last afternoon in Hawaii.
