대한항공 KE054 기내식_아동식(Child Meal) 및 어린이 탑승선물 [호놀룰루➡️인천]

이번 귀국편에서 탑승한 대한항공 KE054편, B787-10기종! 사실 이번 여행은 이 비행기를 타고 싶어했던 아이 덕분에 시작되었다고 해도 과언이 아니에요.
On our return flight, we took Korean Air flight KE054 on the Boeing 787-10.
Fun fact — this whole trip actually started because my child really wanted to fly on this exact aircraft!

어린이 헤드셋과 탑승 기념 선물

최근 대한항공은 어린이 승객에게 주는 탑승 기념 선물을 실용적인 아이템으로 바꿨는데요, 종류도 다양해졌더라고요. (이제 뽀로로, 타요는 바이바이...) 이번에 아이가 받은 선물은 부드러운 수면 양말이었고, 귀여운 비행기 그림이 그려져 있었어요. 아이도 너무 좋아해서 받자마자 비행 내내 신고 다녔답니다.
Recently, Korean Air has updated the “kids boarding gift” to something more practical. This time, we received a pair of soft, cozy socks with an adorable airplane design. My child loved them so much that he put them on right away and kept them on throughout the flight.

그리고 로고가 리뉴얼 되면서 헤드셋 디자인도 바뀌어서, 비행기에서 사용한 후 선물로 가져갈 수 있다고 하더라고요. 아쉽게도 저는 몰라서 내릴 때 비행기에 두고 내려버렸는데, 다음엔 꼭 챙겨야겠어요!
They’ve also changed the design of the in-flight headset for kids — and now you can take it home as a gift after the flight. Unfortunately, I didn’t know this and accidentally left ours on the plane when we disembarked… next time, I’ll be sure to keep it!

좌석과 기내 환경은 지난 포스팅에서 자세히 다뤘으니 이번 포스팅에서는 아이를 위해 신청한 특별 기내식인 아동식(Child Meal)에 대해 소개할게요.
Since I covered the seat and in-flight environment in detail in my previous post, this time I’ll be focusing on the special in-flight meal I ordered for my child — the Child Meal.

대한항공 KE054_일반석 기내식 후기[호놀룰루➡️인천] 🍱 하와이 여행의 마무리

아동식(Child Meal)은 만 24개월 이상~12세 미만 아동에게 제공되는 특별 기내식이고요.
한국 출발 편에서는 불고기 볶음, 치즈 스파게티, BBQ 치킨과 크로켓을, 해외 출발편에서는 스파게티, 피자, 핫도그 중에서 선택 가능합니다. (일본, 중국, 동남아 등에서 출발하는 일부 항공편에서는 한국 출발 편과 동일한 아동식 메뉴 제공된다고 공지되어 있네요.)
The Child Meal is available for passengers aged 2 to 12. On flights departing from Korea, the options include Bulgogi stir-fry, cheese spaghetti, and BBQ chicken with a croquette. For flights departing from overseas, you can choose from spaghetti, pizza, or a hot dog.
You can request it through the Korean Air website or app at least 24 hours before departure.

차일드밀 트레이

특별 기내식은 일반 기내식보다 먼저 서빙되기 때문에, 비행 중 식사 시간을 조금 더 여유롭게 조절할 수 있다는 장점이 있어요.
One great perk is that special meals are served before the regular in-flight service, which gives you a little extra time to manage the meal without feeling rushed.

피자

첫 번째 식사는 피자를 신청했는데요 토마토소스와 치즈가 듬뿍 올라간 피자로, 아이가 부담 없이 맛있게 먹을 수 있었어요. 메인 메뉴 외에도 빵, 샐러드, 주스, 과자로 구성되어 있어 아이가 다양하게 즐길 수 있어요.
For the first meal, my child ordered pizza — a classic tomato sauce and cheese pizza that was tasty and easy for kids to enjoy. The tray also came with bread, salad, juice, and a snack, so there was plenty of variety.

Doritos

이 Doritos 과자가 정말 맛있었는데, 기내 스낵바에도 있기를 기대했는데, 아쉽게도 없더라고요.
The snack included a bag of Doritos, which was so good that I secretly hoped I’d find more at the in-flight snack bar…
but sadly, no luck.

간식은 바나나

특별 기내식 간식으로는 대부분 바나나가 제공되는데, 건강하고 간편해서 출출할 때 먹기 딱 좋아요. 하지만 아이는 엄마 일반식에 나온 따뜻한 핫포켓을 탐냈답니다.
For the snack time, a banana was served,
which was perfect for a light and healthy bite during the flight.
Still, my child kept eyeing the warm Hot Pocket that came with my regular adult meal😜

핫도그

핫도그

두 번째 식사는 따뜻한 핫도그였어요. 폭신한 빵 사이에 소시지가 들어 있고, 케첩과 머스터드를 곁들여 간단하면서도 든든하게 즐길 수 있었답니다. 핫도그 외에도 빵, 주스, 과일, 젤리 등이 함께 나와 아이가 골라 먹는 재미가 있었어요.
The second meal was a warm hot dog. A soft bun with a juicy sausage inside, served with ketchup and mustard — simple but filling. It also came with bread, juice, fruit, and strawberry flavored jello, giving my child a few different things to choose from.

아이와 함께하는 장거리 비행이라면 차일드밀은 아이 입맛에 맞춘 메뉴와 빠른 서빙, 그리고 구성의 다양함 덕분에 훨씬 편하고 즐겁게 식사 시간을 보낼 수 있는 선택이었습니다. 
If you’re flying long-haul with kids, the Child Meal is a great option — it’s tailored to their tastes, served earlier, and offers plenty of variety. It definitely made our mealtime in the air smoother and more enjoyable.
