신세계 강남 하우스오브신세계 | 미도한우함박

지난 2월 고속터미널역에서 열린 종이철도모형 전시회를 다녀왔는데요. 아드님과 함께 구경을 마치고 나니 아쉬운 마음에 신세계백화점 강남 맛집을 찾아보다가, 하우스오브신세계 맛집으로 유명한 미도한우함박에 방문하게 되었어요.

Last February, I visited a paper-train model exhibition at Express Bus Terminal Station. After exploring the exhibition with my son, we weren’t quite ready to head home, so we started looking for a good restaurant near Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam and ended up visiting Mido Hanwoo Hamburg Steak, one of the popular spots inside House of Shinsegae.

하우스오브신세계

이른 저녁 시간대였음에도 불구하고 사람이 많아 약 1시간 정도 웨이팅이 있었어요. 역시 하우스오브신세계 맛집이라 그런지 방문객이 꽤 많더라고요.
다행히 중앙에 앉아서 쉴 수 있는 공간이 잘 마련되어 있어서, 기다리는 동안 비교적 편하게 시간을 보낼 수 있었어요.

Even though it was still early dinner time, the restaurant was already crowded, and we had to wait for about an hour. It definitely felt like one of the most popular restaurants in House of Shinsegae. Thankfully, there was a comfortable seating area in the center of the building where we could relax while waiting.

카톡으로도 웨이팅 현황을 확인할 수 있어서 편리했답니다. 사람이 많아 다소 정신없는 분위기였지만, 직원분들이 친절하게 응대해주셨어요.

We were also able to check the waiting status through KakaoTalk, which was really convenient. Although the place was busy and a bit hectic, the staff members were friendly and welcoming.

밥과 장국

주문을 마치고 나면 밥과 장국이 먼저 나오는데, 전체적으로 깔끔하게 준비되어 나오는 느낌이 좋더라고요. 특히 밥은 부족할 경우 리필도 가능해서 든든하게 식사하기에도 괜찮았어요.

After ordering, rice and soup were served first. Everything was neatly prepared, and I liked how clean and organized the overall setup felt.

한우 함박 19,900원

아이는 가장 기본 메뉴인 한우 함박 정식을 주문했어요. 100% 한우로 만든 숯불 함박 위에 데미그라스 소스가 올라가고, 숏파스타가 함께 제공되는데요. 한우를 사용하다보니 고기 풍미가 좋고 맛있더라고요.

My son ordered the basic Hanwoo Hamburg Steak Set. It comes with a charcoal-grilled 100% Korean beef hamburg steak topped with demi-glace sauce, along with short pasta on the side. Since it’s made with hanwoo beef, the meat had a rich flavor and tasted really good.

명란 한우 함박 19,900원

짝꿍은 명란한우함박을 주문했어요. 기본 한우함박과 비슷한 구성에 명란크림소스가 더해져, 감칠맛과 고소한 풍미가 더 느껴지는 메뉴였어요.

My husband ordered the Pollack Roe Hanwoo Hamburg Steak. It had a similar setup to the original version but was topped with a creamy pollack roe sauce, which added a savory and slightly richer flavor.

한우 치즈 후라이 18,900원

저는 한우치즈후라이를 주문했어요. 치즈를 넣은 한우 함박을 바삭하게 튀겨낸 멘치카츠 스타일의 정식인데, 겉은 바삭하고 안은 촉촉한 식감이 좋았어요.

I ordered the Hanwoo Cheese Fry. It’s a menchi-katsu style set meal made with hanwoo hamburg steak stuffed with cheese and deep-fried until crispy. The outside was crunchy while the inside stayed juicy and tender.

모짜렐라 치즈가 주르륵 흐른다.

치즈와 튀김옷 때문에 자칫 느끼할 수 있는데, 함께 나온 매콤한 소스가 느끼함을 잘 잡아줘서 맛있더라고요.

Since fried food and cheese can sometimes feel heavy, the spicy sauce served on the side balanced the richness really well, making it enjoyable until the last bite.

단무지

반찬으로 나온 단무지는 일반 노란 단무지가 아니라 흰색 단무지였는데, 새콤하고 깔끔한 맛이라 전체적으로 메뉴와 잘 어울렸어요.

The pickled radish served as a side dish was also interesting. Instead of the typical yellow pickled radish, they served white pickled radish, which had a refreshing and clean taste that paired nicely with the meal.

키리모찌 베이컨말이 4,500원

언제 또 올지 모르기 때문에, 키리모찌 베이컨말이도 주문해봤어요. 쫀득한 키리모찌에 베이컨을 말아 굽고, 간장 소스가 뿌려져있는 맥주 안주인데요.
정식만으로도 꽤 든든해서 다음에는 정식 메뉴 위주로 주문하면 충분할 것 같다는 생각이 들었어요.

Since I wasn’t sure when I'd be able to visit again,, I also ordered the Kirimochi Bacon Roll. It’s a chewy grilled rice cake wrapped in bacon and topped with soy-based sauce, making it a great snack to pair with beer.

전체적으로 깔끔한 분위기에서 든든하게 식사하기 좋았던 하우스오브신세계 미도한우함박.
웨이팅은 있었지만 한우 함박 특유의 풍미와 다양한 메뉴 구성이 만족스러웠고, 신세계 강남 맛집 찾는다면 한 번쯤 방문해봐도 좋을 것 같아요 :)

Overall, Mido Hanwoo Hamburg Steak at House of Shinsegae was a great place for a satisfying meal in a clean and modern atmosphere. Even though there was a long wait, the rich flavor of the hanwoo hamburg steaks and the variety of menu options made the visit worthwhile. If you’re looking for a good restaurant near Shinsegae Gangnam, this place is definitely worth checking out.
