현대백화점 행사 매대를 둘러보다가 우연히 아디다스 스탠스미스를 보게 되었어요. 이월 상품을 정리하는 행사였던 것 같은데, 스탠스미스는 워낙 클래식하고 꾸준히 사랑받는 아이템이라 자연스럽게 손이 가더라고요. 다행히 제 사이즈(230)가 있어 크게 고민하지 않고 바로 구입했습니다.
I was browsing a promotional stand at Hyundai Department Store when I stumbled upon the Adidas Stan Smith. It looked like a clearance sale for last season’s items, but since the Stan Smith is such a timeless classic, I knew I had to have it. Luckily, my size (US size 6) was available, so I grabbed it without much hesitation.
깔끔한 블루 컬러의 아디다스 신발 박스예요. 옆면에는 사이즈와 모델명이 표시되어 있어서 확인하기 편했고, 백화점에서 판매되는 제품이라 정품이라는 점 신뢰가 가더라고요. 가격은 55,600원으로, 당시 인터넷 최저가보다도 저렴하게 구입할 수 있었답니다.
The sneaker box is a clean blue, with the size and model clearly labeled on the side. Being sold at a department store, I didn’t have to worry about authenticity. The price was 55,600 KRW, which was even cheaper than the lowest online price at the time.
박스를 열어보니 신발은 얇은 종이 포장지에 깔끔하게 감싸져 있었어요. 기존에 그린 컬러를 소장하고 있었는데, 이번에는 새롭게 하늘색 뒷부분 포인트가 있는 디자인으로 선택했답니다.
Inside the box, the shoes were neatly wrapped in thin paper. I already have the green version, but this time I went for the sky-blue heel accent, which felt fresh and fun.
제가 선택한 사이즈는 230mm예요. 아디다스가 나이키보다 조금 크게 나오는 편이라 발에 딱 맞았고, 착용감도 편안했어요. 제조년월은 2024년 1월로 약 1년 반 정도 된 제품이다보니 밑창 컬러에서 세월의 흔적이 조금 느껴지지만, 오히려 빈티지한 매력이 있어 마음에 들었습니다.
I went with size 230mm. Adidas tends to run slightly bigger than Nike, so this size fit perfectly and was comfortable right away. The shoes were manufactured in January 2024, so they’re about a year and a half old. The soles show a little wear, but honestly, that adds a nice vintage charm.
윗면을 보면 깔끔한 화이트 바디가 심플하면서 세련된 느낌을 주고, 옆면에는 아디다스 특유의 펀칭 스트라이프 디테일이 클래식한 멋을 더해줘요. 스탠스미스는 주니어 라인도 출시되고 있는데, 주니어 라인은 동글동글하고 귀여운 느낌인 반면, 우먼 제품은 앞코가 살짝 더 길고 날렵해 성숙한 분위기에요.
The top of the shoe is clean white, giving a simple yet polished look, while the perforated stripes on the side add that classic Stan Smith vibe. The junior version is rounder and cuter, but the women’s version has a slightly longer, sleeker toe, giving it a more mature and refined feel.
밑창은 미끄럼 방지 패턴으로 제작되어 있어, 데일리 슈즈로 오래 걸어도 안정감 있게 신을 수 있어요.
The outsole has an anti-slip pattern, so they feel stable and comfortable even when worn for long walks—perfect for everyday use.
뒷꿈치 로고는 시그니처 컬러인 하늘색으로 포인트가 되어, 전체적으로 깔끔하면서도 산뜻한 느낌이에요.
The sky-blue heel logo pops just enough to make the shoes stand out without being flashy.
전반적으로 아디다스 스탠스미스는 심플하고 클래식한 디자인 덕분에 데일리 슈즈로 활용도가 정말 높아요. 착용감도 편안하고, 어떤 코디에도 자연스럽게 어울려 닳으면 또 사고 또 사게 되는 데일리 아이템이에요. 심플 이즈 더 베스트!
The Adidas Stan Smith is super versatile thanks to its simple, classic design. It’s comfy, goes with pretty much any outfit, and honestly, it’s the kind of sneaker you keep buying over and over. After all, simple really is the best!
