싱가포르 쇼핑_마리나 베이 샌즈 몰 [Bath & Body Works]

마리나 베이 샌즈 몰 지하 2층에 제가 좋아하는 ‘Bath & Body Works’ 매장이 있길래 구경 가보았어요.
While visiting Marina Bay Sands Mall, I noticed a Bath & Body Works store—one of my favorite brands—so I decided to stop by and take a look.

할로윈 시즌 상품들

 

제가 10월 말에 방문했던지라, 할로윈 시즌을 맞아 출시된 제품들이 디피되어 있더라고요. 작년 미국에서 봤던 시즌 상품도 있고, 새로운 제품들도 보였어요.
Since I visited in late October, the store was full of Halloween seasonal displays. Some of the items were familiar from what I’d seen in the U.S. last year, while others were new. 

올해는 빌런/마녀를 컨셉으로 한 제품이 메인이더라고요.
3+1 행사 중이라, 일단 바디로션 4개를 골라보고-
This year’s main theme seemed to be villains and witches, which made the displays even more fun to browse. They were running a buy 3, get 1 free promotion, so I ended up picking out four body lotions.

체험 공간

매장 한 쪽에는 손을 씻으며 제품을 체험할 수 있는 공간도 있었어요. 엄마따라 몇 번 같이 왔다고 여길 먼저 찾아가서 손을 씻는 아드님…😆
There was also a sink area where you could wash your hands and try the products. My son, who’s been to BBW with me a few times, headed straight there to wash his hands before I even said anything.

블루 스파

홍보 문구를 보니 재출시된 듯한 트루 블루 스파 라인 :)
I also noticed the True Blue Spa line, which looked like a re-release based on the promotional signs.

방향제

사고 싶지만 살 수 없는 방향제도 보이고-🥲 미국에서 판매하는 제품들이 다 있어서 구경하기 좋더라고요.
There were plenty of items that caught my eye—some I wanted but didn’t end up buying, like air fresheners—and it was nice to see many of the same products that are sold in the U.S.

핸드솝

핸드워시는 2개 이상 구매 시, 5불 할인 행사 중이라 2개 골라보았어요. 시즌 상품 1개랑 Iced Lemon Poundcake을 샀는데요. 아이스 레몬 파운드케이크는 손 씻을 때마다 진짜 빵냄새가 나서 기분이 달달해져요.
Hand soaps were on promotion as well: $5 off when you buy two or more. I picked two—one seasonal scent and Iced Lemon Pound Cake. The Iced Lemon Pound Cake soap smells exactly like a real dessert, and every time I wash my hands, it makes me feel oddly happy.

악세서리

핸드워시를 꽂을 수 있는 할로윈 컨셉 악세서리도 귀엽더라고요. 주변에 물기가 뚝뚝 떨어지면 관리가 힘들 것 같아 사지는 않았지만…
They also had cute Halloween-themed accessories for holding hand soaps. I thought they were adorable, but I decided against buying one since water might drip around it and make it hard to maintain.

컨셉에 충실한 디자인

주변에 선물하거나 이미 뜯어 쓴 제품들이 있어서 남은 새 제품들만 모아서 찰칵-
Candy Apple Caudron은 작년에 바디로션을 사서 만족스럽게 사용했던 기억이 있는데, 요번에 디자인이 살짝 바뀌어서 핸드워시로 사보았어요.
I took a quick photo of the unopened items I had left, since some were already gifted or in use.
I bought Candy Apple Cauldron as a hand soap this time—I had used the body lotion version last year and really liked it. The design has changed slightly this year, which made it feel new again.

비닐 씰링이 없음

가격은 우리나라랑 비슷했는데요. 할인 행사+소비세 환급(*싱달러 100불 이상 구매시 5불 환급) 덕분에 체감상 조금 더 저렴한 편이었어요. 우리나라엔 없는 한정판 제품들도 구입할 수 있는 장점도 있고요.
Prices were similar to those in Korea, but with the promotions and a tax refund (SGD 5 back for purchases over SGD 100), it felt a bit more affordable overall. Another plus is being able to buy limited-edition items that aren’t available back home.

미국에서 사면 제일 저렴하지만, 요즘 환율로는 미국이 크게 저렴하지 않은 거 같기도 해요. (이럴 때 달러를 좀 벌어야하는데 쉽지 않은 애두센수ㅠㅠ)
그래도 늘 즐거운 BBW 쇼핑입니다 :)
Shopping at BBW is cheapest in the U.S., of course, but with the current exchange rate, it doesn’t feel that much cheaper these days. (Moments like this make me wish earning dollars were easier—but it’s not 😅)
Still, Bath & Body Works shopping is always fun!
