스키 시즌을 보내면서 스키복을 살까 말까 정말 많이 고민했는데요. 앞으로 아이와 함께 스키를 탈 일이 종종 생길 것 같아서, 결국 자라에서 스키복을 구매하게 됐어요.
I didn’t originally plan on buying ski wear, but as family ski days became more common, I found myself picking up a ZARA ski outfit.
유명 스키 브랜드들은 가격이 백만 원을 훌쩍 넘는 경우가 많은데, 자라 스키복은 상,하의 구입시 50만원대로 가격 대비 퀄리티가 꽤 괜찮아 보이더라고요.
Many premium ski brands easily exceed ₩1,000,000, which felt unnecessary for my needs. In comparison, the ZARA ski jacket and pants together cost around ₩500,000, making them a much more budget-friendly ski wear option.
For the price, the quality felt surprisingly solid.
자라에서 구매 이력이 없어 신규 가입 쿠폰을 기대했지만, 별도의 할인 혜택은 없었어요. 연말연초 세일 기간에 구입했는데 아쉽게도 스키복은 세일 품목에 포함되지 않았더라고요.
Because I didn’t have any previous purchase history with ZARA, I was hoping for a new-member discount, but there weren’t any special offers available.
Even though I purchased during the year-end sale season, the ZARA ski wear was not included in the discounted items.

제가 스키를 잘 타는 편은 아니라서, 처음에는 (눈에 띄고 싶지 않아…) 올블랙으로 무난하게 사려고 했어요. 그런데 짝꿍은 “스키복은 화려해야 한다”며 카바 색상을 추천하더라고요.
Since I’m not a confident skier (and didn’t want too much attention on the slopes), I originally planned to choose an all-black look. My partner, however, insisted that ski wear should stand out and suggested a bright goldish-colored ski jacket instead.
조금 걱정되긴 했지만 막상 받아서 열어보니, 일상복으로 입기엔 색감이 튀는 편이지만 생각보다 도톰하고 소재도 괜찮았어요.
I was hesitant at first, but once it arrived, my concerns quickly disappeared.
The color is bold for everyday wear, but the jacket is nicely insulated, and the fabric feels durable and well-made.
패딩 점퍼는 방풍·방수가 잘되는 소재로 추위를 막아주기 좋고, 활동성과 보온을 고려하여 똑딱이 단추나 지퍼가 여기저기 꼼꼼하게 달려 있어요.
또 허리 라인을 잡아주는 디자인에, 벨트까지 포함되어 있어 전체적인 핏도 흐트러지지 않는 편이에요.
The ZARA ski jacket is made with windproof and waterproof material, which helps block out the cold effectively.
Thoughtful details like well-placed buttons and zippers enhance warmth without limiting movement.
It also features a defined waist and comes with a belt, keeping the overall silhouette neat and flattering.
우리나라 스키장에서는 크게 필요하진 않지만, 사고나 눈사태, 접근하기 어려운 지역에서 조난 시 구조 전문가가 위치를 찾을 수 있도록 RECCO® 기술이 적용된 점도 인상적이었어요. (해외 스키 여행을 갈 때도 착용 가능!)
그리고 자라 홈페이지에 모델이 옷을 착용한 리뷰 이미지가 잘 정리되어 있어서 구매 전에 핏이나 전체적인 느낌을 참고하기에도 좋았습니나 :)
While this feature isn’t essential for most Korean ski resorts, I appreciated that the jacket includes RECCO® technology, designed to help rescue teams locate skiers in emergency situations.
This makes it especially reassuring for anyone planning ski trips abroad.
Another thing I found helpful was ZARA’s website, which offers clear review photos of models wearing the outfit.
These images made it easier to understand the fit and overall look of the ZARA ski wear before purchasing.
바지 역시 방풍·방수 소재로 되어 있어 눈이 닿아도 쉽게 젖지 않았고, 안쪽은 기모 소재로 도톰해 보온성도 괜찮은 편이었어요.
The ZARA ski pants are also made from windproof and waterproof fabric, so snow doesn’t soak through easily.
The inside is lined with brushed fleece, providing enough warmth for winter conditions.
허리 조절은 똑딱이 버튼 방식이 아니라 옆으로 걸어 조절하는 타입이라 착용했을 때 더 깔끔해 보였고, 활동할 때도 크게 불편하지 않았어요.
또 상의와 마찬가지로 RECCO® 기술이 적용되어 있다는 점도 특징이에요.
Instead of snap buttons, the waist is adjusted with a side-hook system, which looks cleaner and felt comfortable while skiing.

제가 키가 작은 편이라 상의는 딱 맞았는데, 하의는 길이가 꽤 길어서 수선해서 입으면 더 예쁠 것 같았어요.
As someone on the shorter side, the jacket fit me perfectly, but the pants were noticeably long. They would definitely look better with hemming.
다행히 스키부츠를 신으면 바지가 끌리지는 않아서 이번 시즌에는 그대로 입긴 했지만, 사진으로 보면 바지에 주름이 꽤 많이 잡혀 보이긴 하더라고요.
That said, once I put on ski boots, the length wasn’t an issue, so I wore them as-is this season. In photos, though, the extra length does create visible creasing.
자라 스키복은 전문 스키 브랜드만큼의 기능성을 기대하기보다는, 가끔 스키장을 찾거나 아이와 함께 가볍게 즐기기엔 충분한 선택이라는 생각이 들었어요. 가격대가 높은 스키복이 부담스러운 분들이나 입문자·초보자용 스키복을 찾는 분들께는 가성비 좋은 대안이 될 수 있을 것 같아요.
Rather than comparing it to high-performance professional ski brands, I think ZARA ski wear for beginners or casual skiers makes a lot of sense. For parents skiing occasionally with their kids or anyone looking for affordable ski wear with solid basics, it’s a practical and stylish choice.
다음 시즌에는 바지 길이를 수선해서 좀 더 깔끔한 핏으로 입어봐야겠습니다 :)
