압구정 현대백화점 지하 1층 맛집｜가스트로 테이블 샤브카덴

병원 진료 때문에 종종 찾게 되는 압구정역.
얼마 전에는 친구와 즉흥적으로 점심 약속을 잡아 압구정 현대백화점 본점 지하 1층 가스트로 테이블에 있는 샤브카덴을 방문했어요. 혼밥부터 가족 식사까지 편하게 즐길 수 있는 분위기라 식사하기 좋았습니다.

I was in Apgujeong for a hospital appointment and met up with a friend for lunch afterward. We ended up at Shabu Caden, located inside Gastro Table on the B1 floor of Hyundai Department Store Apgujeong. It felt like a great place for a casual meal, whether you're dining alone or with family and friends.

테이블 오더 방식

주문은 키오스크를 이용하거나, 테이블에 먼저 자리를 잡은 뒤 QR코드를 스캔해 진행할 수 있어요.

Ordering was easy. You could use the self-service kiosk or simply scan the QR code at your table to browse the menu and place your order.

샤브카덴 메뉴

모바일 웹으로도 메뉴를 모두 확인할 수 있어 너무 편리했어요. 저는 입점된 매장들 중 샤브카덴이 눈에 들어왔는데요, 검색해보니 ‘카덴’ 브랜드에서 운영하는 샤브샤브 전문점으로 샤브샤브를 비롯해 스키야키, 면 요리, 덮밥 등 다양한 메뉴를 판매하는 곳이더라고요.

I liked that the entire menu was available on the mobile website. Shabu Caden caught my eye among the restaurants at Gastro Table. It's part of the Caden brand and serves a variety of Japanese dishes, including shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, noodle dishes, and rice bowls.

고민 끝에 주문한 메뉴는 소고기 탄탄면이었어요. 모바일에서 주문과 결제까지 한 번에 가능했고, 주문이 완료되면 카카오톡 알림톡으로 주문 내역과 메뉴 준비 상황을 실시간으로 안내해 줘 편리했어요.

After looking through the menu, I decided on the Beef Tantan Noodles. I could place my order and pay directly on my phone, and KakaoTalk notifications kept me updated on both the order details and when my meal was ready.

트레이에 서빙된 음식

음식도 직원분께서 트레이에 담아 자리까지 직접 가져다주셨어요. 백화점 푸드코트는 보통 직접 음식을 받아오는 셀프 시스템이 많은데, 가스트로 테이블은 직원분이 자리까지 서빙해 주셔서 정말 편하게 식사할 수 있었어요.
소고기 탄탄면은 메인 메뉴 외에도 공깃밥과 생수, 단무지가 함께 제공되는데요. 여기에 면을 찍어 먹을 수 있는 생계란도 함께 나왔어요.

Another thing I appreciated was the service. Even though Gastro Table is located inside a department store food hall, the staff brought the food directly to my table on a tray. It was a nice change from the usual self-service food court experience. 
The Beef Tantan Noodles came with steamed rice, bottled water, pickled radish, and a raw egg for dipping the noodles.

소고기 탄탄면

소고기 탄탄면은 사골을 베이스로 한 국물이라 전체적으로 부드럽고 고소한 맛이 느껴졌어요. 탄탄면 특유의 얼얼하고 진한 맛을 기대했는데, 생각보다 맵지 않고 간도 자극적이지 않아 부담 없이 즐길 수 있었습니다.

The broth was made with a rich beef bone stock, giving it a smooth and comforting flavor. I expected it to be much spicier, but it was actually quite mild. The seasoning was lighter than I expected, making it an easy and comforting meal.

면을 생계란에 찍어 먹는 방식은 스키야키를 떠올리게 했어요. 다만 국물 간이 비교적 담백한 편이라 계란에 찍어 먹었을 때 맛의 변화는 크지 않았어요. 개인적으로는 계란 없이 국물과 함께 먹는 편이 더 잘 어울린다는 느낌이었습니다.

The raw egg reminded me of the way sukiyaki is traditionally enjoyed. Since the broth was already mild, though, dipping the noodles into the egg didn't make a big difference. Personally, I preferred eating the noodles with the broth on its own.

카페 이름이 뭔지 기억나지 않아…

식사를 마친 뒤에는 카페로 자리를 옮겨 커피를 마시며 이야기를 이어갔어요. 카페 이름은 기억나지 않지만, 아이스 아메리카노를 커다란 와인잔 모양의 잔에 담아 제공해 준 점이 인상적이었습니다.

After lunch, we moved to a nearby café and continued chatting over coffee. I can't remember the café's name, but my iced Americano was served in a large wine glass-shaped cup, which made it surprisingly memorable.

압구정 현대백화점 본점 지하 1층에서 간편하게 식사할 곳을 찾는다면 가스트로 테이블을 한 번 둘러보는 것도 좋을 것 같아요. 다양한 메뉴를 한곳에서 즐길 수 있고, 주문부터 서빙까지 편리한 시스템 덕분에 쇼핑이나 약속 전후에도 부담 없이 방문하기 좋았습니다.
