오사카 브런치 카페 [Kyuri Kissaten/きゅうり喫茶店]

 

오사카 우메다로 돌아온 5일 차- 마지막날은 유니버설 스튜디오를 가야 했기에 이 날도 우메다 근처에서 쉬엄쉬엄 지내며 체력을 비축하기로 했어요.

On the fifth day of my trip, we chose to relax and stay in Umeda. Since we planned to visit Universal Studios on the last day, I didn't want to spend the day feeling exhausted.

카페 전경

구글맵으로 브런치 먹을만한 곳을 찾다가 발견한 카페, Kyuri Kissaten. 메뉴나 분위기가 제가 딱 좋아하는 곳이었어요. 우메다에서 10분 정도 걸어서 갈 수 있는 위치라 숙소에서의 접근성도 좋았어요.

While searching on Google Maps for a place to have brunch, I stumbled upon a café called Kyuri Kissaten. Its menu and ambiance were exactly what I like. Moreover, its convenient location, just a 10-minute walk from Umeda, made it easily accessible from our hotel.

예쁜 간판

간판도 예쁘고, 가게 앞에 세워진 노란색 자전거마저 일본 영화나 애니메이션에서 볼 수 있는 느낌이랄까요...

The signage was delightful, and the presence of a yellow bicycle parked outside gave it a touch of charm, reminiscent of scenes from Japanese movies or animations.

내부 - 1

내부도 아담하고, 아기자기하게 꾸며져 있어요. 사장님 한 분이 운영하시는 곳이라, 음식은 여유를 가지고 기다려야 합니다 :)

The interior is cozy and tastefully decorated. As it's operated by a single owner, you may need to allow for some extra time to wait for your food.

내부 - 2

아이가 비행기를 좋아하는데, 카페 한쪽에 JAL 다이캐스트가 있어서 아이가 신기해하더라고요. (어디서 살 수 있냐며....)

My child loves airplanes, so he wasfascinated to find a JAL die-cast model displayed in one corner of the cafe. He was amazed and even asked where he could get one...

음료 메뉴

메뉴는 영어 메뉴판이 없어서 파파고로 돌려보고, 구글맵에 올라온 사진을 사장님께 보여드리며 주문을 했어요.

Since there wasn't an English menu available, I used Papago to translate the menu and also showed the owner photos from Google Maps to place our order.

계란 샌드위치 / 참치 샌드위치

샌드위치는 세트로 계란과 참치 하나씩 주문했어요. 미니 샐러드도 함께 나오는데 엄청 상큼하고 맛있었어요.

I ordered sandwiches as a set, with one egg and one tuna sandwich. Along with them, a mini-sized salad was served, which was incredibly fresh and delicious.

땅콩버터 & 잼 토스트

짝꿍이 좋아하는 땅콩버터 & 잼 토스트도 하나 주문했어요. 참 간단하지만, 맛있는 토스트죠. 집에서도 주말에 만들어먹어야겠어요.

I also ordered a peanut butter and jam toast, which is a simple yet delicious choice. 

아이스 카페오레

음료는 아이스 카페오레로 주문했어요. 브런치 먹을 때는 항상 라떼가 땡기더라고요. 옆 테이블에서 현지 분들이 드시는 거 보니, 아이스크림이 올라간 플로트 음료도 인기가 많아 보였어요.

I ordered an iced café au lait for my drink. Whenever I have brunch, I always crave a latte. I noticed that the people at the table next to us were enjoying a drink with ice cream floated on top, which looked tempting.

프렌치 토스트

그리고 가장 맛있었던 프렌치토스트 :) 부드럽고 달고 진짜 맛있더라고요. 아드님이 좋아해서 마지막에 한 개를 더 추가해서 먹었답니다. (여기서 빵을 얼마나 먹은 건지...ㅎㅎ)

The French toast was definitely the highlight! It was soft, sweet, and incredibly delicious. My child loved it so much that we ended up ordering one more at the end. 

화장실

화장실에는 일본에서 볼 수 있는, 변기 위 손 씻는 곳이 설치되어 있어 신기해서 찍어보았어요.

In the restroom, there was a handwashing area installed above the toilet, which is something you often see in Japan. It was fascinating.

우메다 스카이 빌딩

식사 후에는 다시 루쿠아 쇼핑몰로 걸어갔어요. 가는 길에 우메다 스카이 빌딩이 보여서 사진도 한 장 남기고- 건물에 반사되는 하늘이 엄청 멋있더라고요. 이 날도 날씨는 비가 오다 말다 오락가락했는데 마지막 날을 위한 날씨 요정의 배려였다는 걸 알게 되었습니다🫶

After the meal, we walked back to Lucua Shopping Mall. On the way, we caught sight of the Umeda Sky Building and snapped a photo - the reflection of the sky on the building looked incredibly stunning...!
