오랜만에 만나기로 한 친구와, 둘 다 오전 시간만 가능해서 아침 10시쯤 하우스오브신세계 반포점 앞에서 만났어요. 그런데 막상 도착해보니 매장 오픈 시간이 10시 30분이더라고요...
그래서 근처를 천천히 둘러보며 이야기 나누다가, 오픈 시간에 맞춰 여유롭게 입장했습니다.
After dropping my kid off at school, I met a friend for a morning catch-up. We got to House of Shinsaegae in Banpo around 10 AM and realized that the restaurants didn’t open until 10:30, so we walked around for a bit until the doors opened.

일찍 도착한 덕분에, 하우스오브신세계에서 가장 인기 많은 맛집 중 하나인 미도한우함박에 대기 없이 바로 입장할 수 있었어요. 오픈 시간 직후였는데도 금세 자리가 꽉 차더라고요.
Arriving right at opening time turned out to be perfect—we were seated immediately at this small but popular spot.
매장은 규모가 크지 않고, 바 좌석과 2인 테이블 중심으로 아기자기하게 구성되어 있었어요. 혼밥도 가능한 분위기였어요.
The space is mostly bar seating and two-tops, simple and tidy in a way that feels calm and comfortable.
미도한우함박에서는 이름 그대로 함박스테이크가 대표 메뉴예요. 그 외에도 한우 돈까스, 카레, 파스타, 튀김류 등 일본식 경양식 스타일의 다양한 메뉴를 만나볼 수 있어요.
As the name suggests, the highlight here is the Hanwoo Hamburg Steak, but they also serve Hanwoo cutlets, curry, pasta, and a few fried dishes, all done in a Japanese-style Western comfort-food way.
한우 치즈 후라이는 치즈와 고기가 조화롭게 어우러진 메뉴로, 바삭하게 튀겨진 겉과 고소한 치즈, 한우의 풍미가 잘 살아 있었어요.
경양식 스타일로 감자 샐러드와 양배추 샐러드가 사이드로 나옵니다.
The Hanwoo Cheese Fry was also a pleasant surprise: crispy on the outside, gooey in the middle, and packed with beefy flavor.
뿌려진 소스도 맛있고, 바삭한 멘치카츠 튀김 덕분에 식감도 훌륭했어요.
The sauce paired well and made each bite even more satisfying.
메인 메뉴에는 밥과 국물도 함께 제공돼요. 밥은 국내산 수향미로 지어 고슬고슬하면서도 고소한 맛이 살아 있고, 국물은 담백하게 곁들여져 한 끼 식사로 충분히 만족스러웠어요.
Each entrée comes with rice and soup, and the rice is made with high-quality Korean Suyangmi, which has a naturally soft, fragrant texture.
제공되는 반찬으로는 백단무지가 있었어요. 아삭아삭한 식감과 깔끔한 맛 덕분에, 메인 메뉴와 함께 먹으면 느끼함을 잡아주어 더욱 맛있게 즐길 수 있었답니다.
The simple pickled radish on the side added a refreshing contrast to the heavier dishes.
시그니처 메뉴인 한우 함박스테이크는 이름 그대로 육즙 가득한 고기와 부드러운 식감이 일품이었어요.
겉은 살짝 바삭하게 구워져 있고, 속은 촉촉하면서도 풍미가 깊어 한 입 먹는 순간 입안 가득 고소함이 퍼지더라고요.
솔직히 제가 먹어본 함박 중 최고로 맛있었던 함박이에요.
The Signature Hamburg Steak was incredibly tender with a slight crisp on the outside—rich, juicy, and full of flavor. It’s definately one of the best hamburg steaks I’ve had recently.
아담한 매장이지만, 깔끔한 분위기와 정성스러운 플레이팅, 입맛에 딱 맞는 메뉴 덕분에 충분히 만족스러운 식사였어요.
함박은 아이와 함께 먹기에도 부담 없는 메뉴라, 다음에는 가족과 함께 다시 방문해 맛있는 시간을 즐기고 싶은 곳이에요.
Even though the place is small, the clean space, thoughtful presentation, and well-balanced flavors made the meal feel special. The hamburg steak is also easy for kids to enjoy, so I’d love to come back with my family next time and enjoy another relaxed, delicious meal together.
