싱가포르 여행 준비하면서 아이와 함께 가볼만한 곳을 찾다가, 팀랩 전시회가 있다는 걸 발견했어요. 도쿄, 오키나와에서 좋았던 기억이 있어서 싱가포르 팀랩도 기대가 되더라고요.
While planning our Singapore trip, I was looking for places we could enjoy with our child, and that’s when I discovered teamLab Future World in Singapore. We had such great memories from visiting teamLab in Tokyo and Okinawa, so naturally, my expectations were high for the Singapore location as well.

숙소에서 걸어가며 Olympic Walk 조형물에서 사진도 남겨보았어요. 도보 15분 거리였는데, 덥고 습해서 걷기 쉽지 않았지만 사진은 잘 나오는 날씨였어요.
We walked from our hotel and stopped by the Olympic Walk sculptures along the way to take some photos. It was about a 15-minute walk—hot and humid, as expected—but the weather was perfect for photos.
멀리서부터 눈에 띄는 아트사이언스 뮤지엄 건물은 손바닥을 펼친 듯한 연꽃 모양의 독특한 외관으로, 싱가포르를 대표하는 랜드마크 중 하나예요.
From afar, the ArtScience Museum immediately stands out with its iconic lotus-shaped design, resembling an open hand. It’s one of Singapore’s most recognizable landmarks, and seeing it in person felt pretty special.
건물 입구에는 실제 연꽃이 피어 있어, 전시장에 들어가기 전부터 분위기가 참 예쁘고 인상적이더라고요.
At the entrance, real lotus flowers were blooming, which made the atmosphere even more beautiful before stepping inside.
저는 클룩(Klook)을 통해 미리 티켓을 구매했는데, 월~목은 비수기라 가격이 조금 더 저렴해서 일정 조율이 가능하다면 평일에 가는 걸 추천합니다 :) 일본처럼 별도의 짐 보관 커가 없기 때문에 두 손 가볍게 가는 게 좋고요(*관람 시간 약 1시간 30분 소요), 입구에서 직원에게 예매 시 받은 QR코드만 보여주면 바로 입장할 수 있어서 입장 절차도 간단했어요.
I purchased our tickets in advance through Klook, and since Monday to Thursday are considered off-peak, the prices were a bit cheaper. If your schedule allows, visiting on a weekday is definitely a good idea. Unlike some TeamLab locations in Japan, there’s no luggage storage, so it’s best to visit light.
After showing the QR code from our reservation, we were able to enter right away—quick and easy. The entire visit took about 1.5 hours, which felt just right with a child.
입장 전에는 관람 에티켓과 전시 소개가 담긴 짧은 영상을 먼저 시청했어요. 사진 촬영은 가능하지만 플래시는 사용하면 안되고, 전시 특성상 운동화를 착용해야 체험할 수 있는 공간도 안내해주더라고요.
Before entering the exhibition, we watched a short introductory video explaining viewing etiquette and the concept of the exhibition. Photography is allowed, but flash is not, and for safety reasons, some interactive areas require wearing sneakers.
전시장에 들어서자, 아이들이 몸으로 직접 체험할 수 있는 인터랙티브 미디어 공간이 이어졌어요.
슬라이드처럼 미끄러지며 내려오는 공간이나, 빛과 영상이 반응하는 구조물 등 단순히 ‘보는 전시’가 아니라 직접 움직이고 놀면서 즐기는 전시라 아이 반응이 정말 좋았어요.
Once inside, we were surrounded by interactive digital installations designed for kids to experience with their whole bodies. From slide structures to installations that react to movement, this wasn’t a “look-only” museum—it was a space where kids could run, climb, and explore freely.
이 공간에서는 작은 그림 모형을 움직이면 캐릭터들이 반응하며 소리내는 모습이 재밌더라고요.
In one area, moving small illustrated figures caused characters on the screen to react with sounds, which our child found fascinating.
Light Sculpture with Paper Airplane 에서는, 비행기룰 직접 만들고 꾸며서 날려보내는 체험을 할 수 있었어요.
At Light Sculpture with Paper Airplane area, kids can make and decorate their own paper airplanes before sending them flying.
비행기 전개도가 난이도 별로 준비되어있고, 아이와 함께 하나씩 접어보았어요. 마카도 있길래, 재미로 소원을 적어보기도 했습니다.
There were templates with different difficulty levels, so we each folded one and even wrote a little wish on it for fun.
비행기를 날려보내는 곳은 레이저 불빛이 가득한 터널이라, 누가누가 멀리 날리는지 시합하기도 좋아요. 오랜만에 아이와 종이접기하며 체험하니 재밌더라고요.
The tunnel filled with laser lights made it feel like a game—perfect for seeing whose airplane would fly the farthest.
스케치 존도 두세 곳 정도 마련되어 있었는데, 아이가 좋아하는 비행기를 색칠해서 화면에 띄워보는 체험을 했어요. 스크린 속 비행기를 손으로 톡 건드리면 갑자기 훅 날아가 버려서 아이가 정말 좋아했답니다.
There were also several sketch zones, where kids could color drawings—like airplanes—and watch them appear on a giant screen. Touching the screen made the airplanes suddenly zoom away, which had our child laughing every time.
아이가 가장 좋아했던 공간은 Aerial Climbing through a Flock of Colored Birds였어요.
입장 전에 가방을 입구에 잠시 보관할 수 있고, 형형색색의 조형물을 오르내리며 몸으로 직접 체험할 수 있는 공간이라 마치 실내 놀이터에 온 듯한 느낌이 들더라고요. 아이가 너무 재미있어해서 몇 번이나 다시 들어가서 체험할 정도였어요.
The space my child loved the most was Aerial Climbing through a Flock of Colored Birds.
Before entering, bags are temporarily stored outside, and inside you can climb and move across colorful sculptural forms. It felt like a cross between an art installation and an indoor playground, and my child enjoyed it so much that we went back multiple times.
마지막 체험 공간은 Crystal Universe였어요.
도쿄 팀랩 플래닛에서 봤던 공간과 비슷한 분위기였는데, 규모는 조금 더 아담하더라고요. 사방을 채운 반짝이는 빛과 거울 효과 덕분에 공간이 훨씬 넓게 느껴졌고, 사진으로 남기기에도 충분히 환상적이고 예쁜 공간이었어요.
The final space was Crystal Universe, which reminded me of TeamLab Planets in Tokyo—though on a slightly smaller scale. Surrounded by mirrors and countless sparkling lights, the space felt endless and magical. It was stunning in person and just as beautiful in photos.
그리고 비수기 요일(월–목)에 방문해서 쿠폰도 두 장 받았습니다.
하나는 스케치존에서 아이가 그린 그림을 3D 종이 조형물로 만들 수 있는 쿠폰, 다른 하나는 마리나 베이 샌즈 몰 식당 할인 쿠폰이었는데요. 둘 다 월–목요일에만 사용 가능해서 덕분에 브레드 스트리트(Bread Street)에서 20% 할인 혜택을 받을 수 있어 꽤 유용했어요.
Because we visited on an off-peak day (Monday–Thursday), we received two coupons.
One allowed us to turn our child’s sketch into a 3D paper model, and the other was a dining discount at Marina Bay Sands Mall. The dining coupon was also weekday-only, but thanks to that, we enjoyed 20% off at Bread Street, which was a nice bonus.
전체적으로 싱가포르 팀랩 퓨처월드는 아이와 함께 방문하기에 정말 만족스러운 전시였어요.
직접 몸을 움직이며 체험할 수 있는 공간이 많아서 아이도 지루해할 틈이 없었고, 어른인 저도 동심으로 돌아간 기분이 들더라고요.
비 오는 날이나 더운 날에도 부담 없이 즐길 수 있는 실내 전시라 아이와 함께하는 싱가포르 여행 코스를 고민 중이라면, 팀랩 퓨처월드는 꼭 추천하고 싶은 장소입니다.
Overall, TeamLab Future World Singapore was an incredibly satisfying experience for both kids and adults.
There were plenty of hands-on spaces to keep children engaged, and as an adult, I felt like I was reconnecting with my inner child too.
If you’re planning a Singapore trip with kids—especially on a hot or rainy day—this indoor, interactive exhibition is absolutely worth adding to your itinerary.
