싱가포르 여행 | 아이와 함께한 나이트 사파리 간단 후기

식사하고 클라크 키를 살짝 둘러본 후, 나이트 사파리로 이동했어요. 대중교통으로 가기엔 불편해서 택시를 이용했습니다 :)

After dinner, we took a short walk around Clarke Quay before heading to the Night Safari. Since it’s not very convenient to get there by public transportation, we decided to take a taxi instead.

저흰 Grab을 주로 이용했는데, Taxi 표기가 된 곳이 아니라, Pick-up/Drop-off 장소에서 불러야한다고 기사님이 친절하게 알려주셨어요. 아드님이 잊지 말라고 친절하게 찍어둔 사진😊

We mostly used Grab during our trip, and the driver kindly explained that we needed to call the car from the designated pick-up/drop-off point, not the regular taxi stand. My son even took a photo for us so we wouldn’t forget.

나이트 사파리에서 꼭 해야할 3가지

싱가포르 나이트 사파리는 세계 최초의 야간 동물원으로, 밤에 활동하는 동물들의 자연스러운 모습을 가까이에서 볼 수 있는 곳이에요. 낮에 보는 동물원과는 전혀 다른 매력 덕분에, 싱가포르 여행에서 한 번쯤 꼭 경험해볼 만한 코스라고 하더라고요.

Singapore Night Safari is the world’s first nocturnal zoo, where you can observe animals that are active at night in an environment that closely resembles their natural habitat. It offers a completely different experience from a daytime zoo, and it’s often recommended as a must-do activity when visiting Singapore.

트램 타러

나이트 사파리에서 꼭 해야할 3가지는 1️⃣사파리 트래일 산책, 2️⃣나이트 사파리 쇼 관람, 그리고 3️⃣트램 탑승이라고 써있었는데요. 나이트 사파리 쇼는 미리 예약해야해서 입장할 때 해두면 편해요. 저흰 8:30 쇼를 예약해두고 첫 트램을 탑승하러 갔어요.

They recommend three must-do experiences at the Night Safari:
1️⃣ Walking around the Safari Trails
2️⃣ Watching 'Creatures of the Night' show
3️⃣ Riding the Safari Tram

The show requires advance reservation, so it’s best to book it as soon as you enter. We reserved the 8:30 PM show and headed straight to catch the first tram ride.

야생 그 자체

첫 트램은 저녁 7시에 출발해요. 안내 방송이 영어로 나와서, 설명 들으며 동물들 구경하니 재밌더라고요. 밤이라 어두워서 사진 욕심은 안 냈어요… 숨어있는 동물들도 있어서, 운이 좋아야 다양한 동물들도 볼 수 있었어요.

The first tram departs at 7:00 PM. The commentary is in English, and listening to the explanations while spotting animals in the dark was surprisingly fun. Since it was nighttime and quite dark, I didn’t focus much on taking photos. Some animals were hiding in bushes, so seeing a variety of animals really depended on luck.

사파리 지도

트램 탑승이 끝나고, 사파리 트래일 중 Pangolin Trail을 구경했어요. 네 곳을 다 구경하려면 1시간 30분 정도 걸리는데 8:30 쇼를 관람해야해서 시간이 많지가 않더라고요. 조명이 많지 않은 깜깜한 산책로도 신기했어요. 싱가포르라 가능한 환경인 듯 해요.

After the tram ride, we explored the Pangolin Trail, one of the walking trails. There are four trails in total, and it takes about an hour and a half to see them all, but we didn’t have much time since we needed to make it to the 8:30 show. Walking through the dimly lit paths was a unique experience in itself—probably something only possible in a place like Singapore.

Creatures of the Night 쇼

Creatures of the Night 쇼는 야행성 동물들의 생태와 특징을 흥미롭게 보여주는 공연으로, 동물들이 무대 위에 등장해 움직이는 모습을 가까이에서 볼 수 있어 현장감이 느껴졌어요. 영어로 진행되지만 동작 위주의 연출이라 이해하는 데 큰 어려움은 없었어요.

The Creatures of the Night show introduces the behaviors and characteristics of nocturnal animals in an engaging way. Seeing the animals appear and move on stage right in front of you made the experience feel very immersive. Although the show is conducted in English, it’s very action-oriented, so it wasn’t difficult to follow.

기념품샵 구경

공연을 보고 나오면 기념품 숍도 함께 들러볼 수 있어요.
나이트 사파리 로고가 들어간 인형이나 동물 모형, 아이들이 좋아할 만한 소소한 굿즈들이 다양하게 준비되어 있었고, 부담 없는 가격대의 기념품도 많았어요.

After the show, you can stop by the gift shop near the exit. There were plush toys with the Night Safari logo, animal figures, and plenty of small souvenirs that kids would love. Many items were reasonably priced, making it easy to pick up a simple keepsake.

트레일도 끝까지 모두 둘러보고 싶었지만, 숙소까지 이동 시간과 다음 날 일정을 생각해 저녁 9시 30분쯤 나이트 사파리를 나왔어요. 나이트 사파리는 자정까지 운영되기 때문에 시간 여유가 있다면 트램과 워킹 트레일을 천천히 즐기며 관람하는 것도 좋을 것 같아요.
아이와 함께한 밤 일정으로도 부담스럽지 않았고, 싱가포르에서만 경험할 수 있는 특별한 밤 여행으로 기억에 남은 시간이었습니다.

We originally wanted to walk more of the trails, but considering the travel time back to our hotel and our plans for the next day, we left the Night Safari around 9:30 PM. Since the park is open until midnight, those with more time could easily take things slower and enjoy both the tram and walking trails at a relaxed pace.

Overall, it was a comfortable and memorable evening activity even with a child. It felt like a truly special nighttime experience that you can only have in Singapore. 🌙🦁
