스위스 밀리터리 솔리오 26인치 캐리어 개봉 후기｜여행용 캐리어 추천

미국여행을 준비하면서 넉넉한 크기의 여행용 캐리어를 찾다가 스위스밀리터리 솔리오 26인치 캐리어를 구입하게 되었어요. 예전에 28인치 캐리어도 사용해보았지만, 항공사 수하물 기준인 23kg 무게를 맞추기에는 오히려 26인치 캐리어가 짐 싸기 더 편하더라고요.

As I was getting ready for my trip to the U.S., I started looking for a larger suitcase and decided to go with the Swiss Military Solio 26-inch model. I’ve traveled with a 28-inch suitcase before, but honestly, staying within the 23kg airline weight limit felt much easier with a 26-inch size.

배송상태

캐리어는 박스 포장 상태로 안전하게 배송되었어요.

It arrived well packaged in a sturdy box, and thankfully there was no damage during shipping.

망가지지 않도록 스티로폼으로 잘 고정되어 배송되었다.

크기가 워낙 크다보니 배송 중 스크래치가 생기지 않을까 걱정했는데, 내부 완충이 잘 되어 있어서 깔끔한 상태로 받아볼 수 있었습니다.

Since larger luggage can easily get damaged during delivery, I was relieved to see it arrive in great condition with proper protective padding inside.

제가 선택한 컬러는 메탈릭 실버인데요. 다른 컬러보다 가격이 조금 더 저렴해서 선택하게 되었어요.
최근 2년 사이 캐리어가 두 번이나 파손되는 일을 겪고 나니, 비싼 캐리어보다는 가성비 좋은 여행용 캐리어를 찾게 되더라고요.

I chose the Metallic Silver color mostly because it was more affordable than the other options. After having two suitcases break within the past couple of years, I realized I’d rather go for something practical and reasonably priced instead of spending too much on expensive luggage.

솔리오는 기본에 충실한 캐리어인데요. 전체적으로 군더더기 없는 깔끔한 디자인에 앞뒤로 스위스밀리터리 로고가 들어가 있고, 좌측 측면에는 오염 방지를 위한 사이드 받침대도 있어요.
지퍼를 열면 크기가 5cm정도 확장도 되는, 확장형 캐리어입니다.

The model Solio has a clean and minimal design without unnecessary details. There are Swiss Military logos on both the front and back, and I also liked the side studs on the left panel that help keep the body from touching the floor directly. Another useful feature is the expandable zipper section, which gives you about 5cm of extra storage space when needed.

360도 회전 더블 휠

바퀴는 360도 회전이 가능한 2중 더블휠 구조라 무게 분산이 잘 되어 더욱 튼튼한 느낌이었고, 소음도 적은 편이라 주행감도 부드러워요.

The double-wheel system rotates smoothly in all directions, and the weight distribution makes it feel stable while moving around. The wheels were fairly quiet and rolled smoothly throughout the trip.

폴리카보네이트 소재

소재는 내구성이 좋은 폴리카보네이트(PC) 소재로, 모서리에는 알루미늄 보호캡까지 적용되어 있었어요. 스크래치에 강하다고 소개되어있는데, 생활 기스는 덜할 수 있지만 이번 여행에서 미국 국내선까지 이용하며 이동할 일이 많다보니, 아무래도 스크래치를 피하기는 어렵더라고요.

The shell is made from durable polycarbonate material, and the corners are reinforced with aluminum guards for extra protection. Although it’s marketed as scratch-resistant, I learned pretty quickly that some wear is unavoidable, especially after taking multiple domestic flights in the U.S. Still, it only ended up with a few scratches.

TSA 락

해외여행 캐리어에서 빠질 수 없는 TSA 잠금장치도 기본으로 들어가 있어요. 저는 평소 여행 다니면서 캐리어 잠금장치를 자주 사용하는 편은 아니지만, 만일을 대비해서 TSA 락이 포함된 모델이면 좋긴 한 것 같아요.

It also comes with a built-in TSA lock, which feels almost essential for international travel these days. I don’t usually lock my luggage myself, but it’s still nice to have the option just in case.

내부 포켓

캐리어 내부는 메쉬 포켓이 있어서 세면도구나 작은 소지품 넣기 좋았고, 여행 짐을 깔끔하게 분리해서 수납할 수 있었어요. 또 짐이 한쪽으로 쏠리거나 튀어나오지 않도록 고정해주는 벨트도 있어 정리하기 편했어요.

Inside, there are mesh compartments that make it easy to organize toiletries and smaller items separately, along with securing straps that help keep everything in place while traveling.

구성품

기본 구성품으로 여행용 네임택과 캐리어 커버도 함께 들어 있어요. 특히 네임택은 추가로 따로 구매하지 않아도 돼서 좋더라고요.

The luggage tag and protective cover were included as well, which was a nice bonus. I was especially happy not to have to buy a tag separately.

After using it throughout my U.S. trip — including several domestic flights — I’d say it held up really well overall. Aside from a few scratches on the outside, there were no real issues. It was spacious, easy to maneuver, and practical enough that I’d gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable suitcase at a reasonable price.
