덴버 여행 중에는 근교에 위치한 Park Meadows 쇼핑몰에서 하루를 보냈는데요. 이날 점심은 치즈케익팩토리(The Cheesecake Factory)에서 먹었어요.
During our trip to Denver, we spent a day at Park Meadows Mall located just outside the city. For lunch, we decided to visit The Cheesecake Factory.

치즈케익팩토리는 미드 빅뱅이론(The Big Bang Theory)에서 페니가 일하던 레스토랑으로도 익숙한 곳인데, 실제로 가보면 메뉴 종류가 정말 다양하고 음식도 전체적으로 만족스러워서 미국 여행 때마다 한 번쯤은 꼭 들르게 되더라고요. 미국 현지 분위기를 느끼기에도 좋은 레스토랑이라 가족여행 중 방문하기에도 괜찮았어요.
The Cheesecake Factory is also well known as the restaurant where Penny worked in The Big Bang Theory, so it already felt familiar to me. Every time I visit the U.S., I end up stopping by at least once because the menu selection is huge and the food is consistently satisfying. It’s also a great place to experience the classic American restaurant atmosphere, making it a good option for family trips as well.
입구에 들어서면 다양한 치즈케이크가 가득 진열된 쇼케이스가 가장 먼저 눈에 띄어요.
하나같이 비주얼이 화려하고 크기도 큼직해서 지나가면서 계속 눈길이 갔는데.. 이 날은 식사만으로도 이미 배가 너무 불러서 아쉽게도 치즈케이크까지는 맛보지 못했어요.
As soon as you walk in, the first thing that catches your eye is the showcase filled with various cheesecakes.
Each cake looked colorful, oversized, and very tempting. Honestly, I couldn’t stop staring at them while passing by! Unfortunately, we were already too full from the meal that day, so I didn’t get a chance to actually try any cheesecake this time.
아이와 함께 방문했기 때문에 키즈 메뉴판도 따로 받았어요. 이번에는 미니 핫도그와 사과주스를 주문했습니다 :)
Since we visited with our child, we were also given a separate kids menu. This time, we ordered the Mini Corn Dogs along with apple juice.
주문 후에는 식전빵이 먼저 나왔어요.
따뜻하게 데워져 나와서 짭짤한 가염버터와 함께 먹으니 정말 맛있더라고요. 겉은 살짝 쫄깃하면서 속은 부드러운 스타일이라 식사 전 가볍게 먹기 좋았어요. 요청하면 리필도 가능하다고 들었는데, 이날은 배가 불러서 더 먹지 못한 게 조금 아쉬웠어요.
After ordering, complimentary bread was served first.
It came out warm, and it tasted especially good with the salted butter on the side. The bread had a slightly chewy crust with a soft interior, making it perfect as a light starter before the meal. I heard you can ask for refills as well, but we were already pretty full, so unfortunately we couldn’t eat more.
음료는 사과주스와 딸기 레몬에이드를 주문했어요. 사과주스는 키즈 메뉴에서 주문한 거라 아이들이 먹기 좋게 빨대컵에 뚜껑까지 씌워져서 나와요.
For drinks, we ordered apple juice and a strawberry lemonade.
Since the apple juice came with the kids meal, it was served in a kid-friendly cup with a lid and straw, which was really convenient for children.
딸기 레몬에이드는 컵 가장자리의 설탕과 함께 즐겨야하기 때문에 빨대없이 마셨어요. 느끼한 양식과 잘 어울리는 상큼한 맛이었어요.
The strawberry lemonade was meant to be enjoyed together with the sugar rim around the glass, so I drank it without a straw. The sweet and tangy flavor paired really well with the dishes we ordered.
에피타이저 메뉴지만, 저는 메인처럼 먹은 Thai Lettuce Wraps w/ Chicken and Avocado!
치킨과 아보카도를 반반씩 섞어서 주문해봤는데, 에피타이저라고 하기에는 양이 꽤 많아서 이것만으로도 한 끼 식사처럼 충분한 느낌이었어요.
Although it’s technically listed as an appetizer, I basically had the Thai Lettuce Wraps w/ Chicken and Avocado as my main dish.
We ordered it half chicken and half avocado, and the portion was surprisingly large for an appetizer. Honestly, it felt filling enough to be a full meal on its own.
닭고기와 아보카도를 양상추에 각종 채소와 함께 싸 먹는 스타일인데, 신선한 식감이 좋아서 부담 없이 먹기 괜찮더라고요. 함께 나온 소스는 땅콩 소스, 칠리 소스, 타마린드 소스였는데 각각 맛이 달라서 취향에 따라 곁들여 먹는 재미도 있습니다.
제 입맛에는 땅콩 소스가 가장 인상적이었고, 살짝 매콤한 칠리 소스도 잘 괜찮았어요.
The dish is served with seasoned chicken, avocado, and vegetables that you wrap in fresh lettuce leaves. It tasted fresh and light, so it was easy to enjoy without feeling too heavy. It also came with three different sauces — peanut sauce, chili sauce, and tamarind sauce — each with a distinct flavor, which made it fun to mix and match depending on your preference.
Personally, the peanut sauce was my favorite, but the slightly spicy chili sauce was also really good.
짝꿍이 주문한 Spaghetti and Meatballs는 미국 스타일의 클래식한 스파게티 느낌이었어요.
미트볼 크기도 큼직했고 토마토소스도 진한 편이라 아이와 함께 먹기 괜찮았어요. 무엇보다 양이 넉넉해서 역시 미국 레스토랑답다는 생각이 들더라고요.
My husband ordered the Spaghetti and Meatballs.
The meatballs were huge, and the tomato sauce had a rich flavor that worked well even for sharing with kids.
아이가 키즈 메뉴로 주문한 Mini Corn Dogs도 전체적으로 무난하게 먹기 괜찮은 메뉴였어요.
한입 크기의 미니 핫도그 스타일이라 아이들이 먹기 편해 보였고, 익숙한 맛이라 부담 없이 주문하기 좋더라고요. 함께 나온 감자튀김도 양이 넉넉한 편이었는데, 이날은 소금을 많이 들어갔는지 생각보다 너무 짜서 아쉽게도 다 먹지는 못했어요.
The Mini Corn Dogs from the kids menu were also a pretty solid choice overall.
They were bite-sized and easy for kids to eat, with a familiar flavor that made them a safe and easy menu option. The portion of fries on the side was generous too, but unfortunately they were much saltier than expected that day, so we couldn’t finish them all.
전체적으로 The Cheesecake Factory는 메뉴 선택 폭이 넓고 분위기도 좋아서 미국 가족여행 중 한 번쯤 방문해보기 좋은 레스토랑이에요.
특히 덴버 근교 Park Meadows 쇼핑몰에서 쇼핑 후 식사하기에도 위치가 좋아서 더욱 편하게 방문할 수 있었습니다.
Overall, The Cheesecake Factory is a great restaurant to visit at least once during a family trip to the U.S. because of its wide variety of menu options and enjoyable atmosphere.
Its location inside Park Meadows Mall near Denver also made it a very convenient spot to stop for a meal after shopping.
