덴버 여행 맛집 추천｜뉴욕 스타일 피자 Brooklyn’s Finest Pizza

덴버 여행 마지막 날, 피자가 먹고 싶어 구글맵으로 찾아 방문한 Brooklyn’s Finest Pizza! 덴버 다운타운 16th Street에 위치해 있어 숙소에서 걸어가기에도 가까웠고, 관광을 하다가 부담 없이 들르기 좋은 위치였어요.
미국에서의 마지막 식사였던 만큼 맛있는 곳에서 먹고 싶었는데, 기대이상으로 만족스러웠던 피자 맛집이었어요.

Before leaving Denver, we wanted to enjoy one last good meal, and pizza sounded like the perfect choice. After a quick search on Google Maps, we found Brooklyn's Finest Pizza, a popular New York-style pizza spot in downtown Denver. The restaurant is located on 16th Street in downtown Denver. It was just a short walk from our hotel, making it an easy stop while exploring the area.
It turned out to be a great choice. The pizza was even better than we expected and made the perfect final meal of our trip in the U.S.

뉴욕 피자집 느낌이 나는 내부

내부는 화려하거나 꾸며진 느낌보다는 미국 동네 피자집 같은 캐주얼한 분위기였어요. 원목 테이블과 빨간 의자가 어우러져 편안한 느낌이었고, 네온사인과 코카콜라 빈티지 간판이 미국다운 감성을 더해주더라고요.

The restaurant looked like a classic American neighborhood pizzeria. Wooden tables, bright red chairs, vintage Coca-Cola signs, and colorful neon lights gave the space a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

셀프 음료 코너

매장 한쪽에는 탄산음료를 리필해서 마실 수 있는 셀프 음료 코너가 마련되어 있었어요. 미국에서는 흔히 볼 수 있는 방식인데, 원하는 만큼 리필해 마실 수 있어 피자와 함께 즐기기 좋았어요.

There was also a self-service fountain drink station with free refills. It's something you see at many restaurants in the U.S.

메뉴

메뉴는 피자를 한 조각(Slice)씩 주문할 수도 있고, 피자와 Fountain Drink가 포함된 콤보 메뉴로도 주문할 수 있었어요.

One thing I really liked was that you could order pizza by the slice. There was also a combo that included a fountain drink. It's a great option if you want to try different flavors without ordering a whole pizza.

카운터 옆에는 갓 구워 나온 피자가 진열되어 있었고, 피자를 만드는 과정도 직접 볼 수 있었어요. 메뉴판에는 피자마다 들어가는 토핑이 적혀 있지만, 실제 피자를 보면서 원하는 메뉴를 고를 수 있어 주문하기 어렵지 않았어요.

Freshly baked pizzas were displayed behind the counter, and we could even watch the staff making them. The menu listed all the toppings, but seeing the pizzas in person made choosing much easier.

카운터에서 주문과 결제 진행

주문은 카운터에서 메뉴를 선택한 뒤 바로 결제하면 됩니다. 직원분이 처음에는 조금 무서워 보였는데, 주문할 때 보니 정말 친절한 분이시더라고요. 주문한 음식이 준비되면 번호를 불러주고, 카운터에서 직접 받아가는 방식이었습니다.

Ordering was simple. We placed our order and paid at the counter. At first, the staff member looked a little serious. But he was actually very friendly. When our order number was called, we picked up our food at the counter ourselves.

저는 치즈만 올라간 심플한 피자를 가장 좋아해서 치즈 피자 2조각과 Fountain Drink가 포함된 콤보를 주문했고, 다른 맛도 궁금해서, 시그니처 피자 중 New York New York 피자와 The Godfather 피자도 한 조각씩 추가로 주문했어요. 제가 주문한 치즈 피자 2조각 + Fountain Drink 콤보는 $9.99였고, New York New York과 The Godfather는 시그니처 피자로 조각당 $4.79였습니다.

Since cheese pizza is my favorite, I ordered the Cheese Pizza Combo with two slices and a fountain drink for $9.99. We also tried two signature slices—New York New York and The Godfather. Each slice was $4.79. Considering U.S. food prices, I thought everything was reasonably priced.

저는 토핑이 많이 올라간 피자보다 치즈만 올라간 클래식한 치즈 피자를 가장 좋아하는데요. 기대했던 것처럼 고소한 치즈가 듬뿍 올라가 있었고, 갓 데워져 나와 치즈가 쭉 늘어날 만큼 따뜻했어요. 얇지만 쫄깃한 뉴욕 스타일 도우와도 잘 어우러졌고, 끝부분 크러스트까지 맛있게 먹을 만큼 만족스러웠어요. 역시 심플이즈더베스트!!

I'm a big fan of classic cheese pizza, so this was easily my favorite. It was served hot with plenty of melted cheese, and the thin, chewy New York-style crust was just as good. Sometimes, simple really is the best.

The Godfather / New York New York

사진에서 오른쪽에 있는 New York New York 피자는 페퍼로니와 소시지, 피망, 블랙올리브, 적양파, 버섯 등 다양한 토핑이 푸짐하게 올라가 있었어요. 짭조름한 페퍼로니와 소시지의 풍미에 채소의 아삭한 식감이 더해져 한입 먹을 때마다 여러 재료의 맛을 함께 즐길 수 있었어요.

The New York New York pizza was topped with pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, black olives, red onions, and mushrooms. The combination of meat and vegetables gave every bite plenty of flavor. It was filling and tasted like a classic American pizza.

결국 The Godfather 한 조각 추가

The Godfather 피자는 페퍼로니, 소시지, 살라미, 햄, 베이컨까지 고기 토핑이 푸짐하게 올라간 메뉴였어요. 다양한 육가공 토핑이 어우러져 진한 풍미를 느낄 수 있었고, 세 가지 피자 중 가장 묵직하고 든든한 맛이었어요. 고기를 좋아하는 남편 취향에는 가장 잘 맞는 피자였어요.

The Godfather was loaded with pepperoni, sausage, salami, ham, and bacon. It had the richest flavor of the three pizzas we tried. If you enjoy meat toppings, you'll probably love this one. My husband certainly did, so I ended up ordering an extra slice for him.
