미국 여행 맛집 | 치폴레(Chipotle) 부리또볼 & 키즈 메뉴 후기

덴버 다운타운 여행 둘째날 저녁은 치폴레에서 먹었어요. 치폴레는 미국을 대표하는 멕시칸 패스트푸드 체인점으로, 신선한 재료를 원하는 대로 조합해서 먹을 수 있는 것이 특징인데요. 푸짐한 양에 가격도 합리적인 편이라 미국 여행 갈 때 꼭 들러보고 싶었던 곳이었어요.
On our second day in downtown Denver, we decided to have dinner at Chipotle. It's one of the most popular Mexican fast-food chains in the U.S., known for its fresh ingredients, generous portions, and customizable meals. It had been on my list for a while, so I was excited to finally give it a try.

저는 1600 California St에 위치한 매장에 방문했는데, 덴버 다운타운에서 16th Street 관광하다가 들르기 좋은 위치였습니다.

✅ 주문방법

매장에 직접 방문해서 먹은 건 처음이라, 직원분께 주문 방식을 물어보니 친절하게 알려주시더라고요.
먼저 1️⃣부리또(Burrito), 부리또볼(Burrito Bowl), 타코(Tacos), 샐러드(Salad) 중 하나를 고른 뒤, 2️⃣흰쌀밥 또는 현미밥, 검은콩 또는 핀토빈, 원하는 고기를 차례대로 선택하면 됩니다. 3️⃣마지막으로 살사, 치즈, 사워크림, 파히타 채소, 양상추 등 원하는 토핑을 추가하면 주문이 끝나요. (*과카몰리를 먹고 싶을 경우에는 추가 요금을 내야해요.)
저희는 부리또볼 1개와 키즈 메뉴(Build Your Own) 1개, 그리고 탄산음료를 주문했어요.

Since it was my first time at Chipotle, I asked a staff member how to order. They were very friendly and explained everything step by step.
Ordering was easier than I expected. First, you choose your main item—Burrito, Burrito Bowl, Tacos, or Salad. Then you pick your rice, beans, and protein. Finally, you add your favorite toppings like salsa, cheese, sour cream, fajita vegetables, and lettuce. If you want guacamole, there's an extra charge.
We ordered one Burrito Bowl, one Kids Build Your Own meal, and a drink.

음료는 매장 안에 있는 음료 디스펜서에서 원하는 음료를 컵에 직접 받는 셀프 방식이었어요. 탄산음료 종류도 다양해서 취향에 맞게 선택할 수 있었고, 미국 패스트푸드 매장에서 흔히 볼 수 있는 시스템입니다.
For the drink, we were given an empty cup and filled it ourselves at the self-service drink station. There were plenty of soft drink options, which is pretty common at fast-food restaurants in the U.S.

수저와 양념은 셀프

수저와 냅킨, 양념도 셀프로 가져다 사용할 수 있었어요. 포크와 나이프는 물론 타바스코 소스도 준비되어 있어 취향에 맞게 곁들여 먹을 수 있었습니다.
Utensils, napkins, and sauces were also self-service. We grabbed everything we needed, including some Tabasco sauce.

Guacamole 추가하면 $2.95

주문한 음식은 트레이에 담겨 나왔어요. 모든 음식이 일회용 용기에 제공되어 식사를 마친 후에는 쓰레기를 직접 버리고 트레이를 정리하면 되는데요. 주문부터 식사 후 정리까지 셀프로 이루어지는 시스템이라 간편했고, 테이블 서비스를 받는 레스토랑과 달리 별도의 팁을 신경 쓰지 않아도 된다는 점도 편리하게 느껴졌어요.
The food came on a tray in disposable containers. After eating, we simply threw away our trash and returned the tray. Since everything is self-service, there was no table service or tip to worry about, which made the whole experience quick and easy.

Burrito Bowl $9.50

부리또볼은 양이 정말 넉넉해서 어른 둘이 나눠 먹어도 충분했어요. 가격도 9.50불이라 가성비가 훌륭하죠. 다양한 채소와 치즈를 모두 넣었는데도 재료를 아낌없이 듬뿍 담아줘 정말 푸짐했습니다.
The Burrito Bowl was much bigger than I expected. It was easily enough for two adults to share. We added almost every vegetable and some cheese, and they didn't hold back on the portions.

또 먹고 싶다..!

스테이크의 은은한 불향과 감칠맛에 과카몰리의 부드럽고 고소한 맛, 토마토 살사의 상큼함, 사워크림의 크리미한 풍미가 잘 어우러져 만족스러운 조합이었어요. 과카몰리는 추가 요금이 있었지만, 추가하길 잘했다는 생각이 들었어요.
We chose steak and added guacamole. The steak had a nice smoky flavor, and the guacamole made everything even creamier and more flavorful. With the fresh tomato salsa and sour cream, every bite was well balanced. The guacamole cost extra, but it was definitely worth it.

키즈 메뉴 Build Your Own $5.70

아이를 위해 주문한 키즈 메뉴는 Build Your Own 방식이라 작은 또띠아와 재료가 따로 제공되었어요. 
For our child, we ordered the Kids Build Your Own meal. It came with small tortillas and the fillings on the side, so we could make mini burritos ourselves.

과카몰리와 토마토 살사, 사워크림까지 넣어 미니 부리또를 만들어 주었는데, 생각보다 정말 잘 먹더라고요. 덕분에 앞으로는 멕시칸 음식도 함께 즐길 수 있겠다는 기대가 생겼습니다.
I filled the tortillas with chicken, guacamole, tomato salsa, and sour cream, and my child actually loved it. It was fun to see him enjoy Mexican food, and it made me excited to try more Mexican restaurants together on future trips.

가격도 미국 물가를 생각하면 비교적 합리적인 편이고, 양도 넉넉해 가성비 좋은 한 끼였습니다. 덴버 여행 중 간편하면서도 든든한 식사를 찾는다면 치폴레를 추천하고 싶어요.
