하와이에서 만난 첫 에르메스, 팝아쉬 귀걸이 구매 후기 (색상/가격/매장 위치)

하와이 와이키키에는 유명 브랜드들이 쭉 늘어선 명품 거리가 있어요. 여행 마지막 날, 짝꿍이 필요한 거 없냐고 묻길래 젊잖은 자리에서도 부담 없이 할 수 있는 귀걸이 하나 있음 좋겠다는 생각이 들더라고요.
In Waikiki, Hawaii, there's a luxury street lined with famous high-end brands. On the last day of our trip, my husband asked if there was anything I wanted. I thought it would be nice to have a pair of earrings—something elegant and easy to wear even in more formal settings.

이것저것 검색하더니 추천해준 팝아쉬 귀걸이와 목걸이! 그래서 가볍게 구경할 겸, 와이키키 에르메스 매장으로 들어가 봤어요. 운 좋게 웨이팅 없이 바로 입장할 수 있었고, 조용하고 쾌적한 분위기에서 여유롭게 구경할 수 있었어요.

After doing a bit of research, he suggested the Pop H earring and necklace from Hermès. So we decided to stop by the Hermès store in Waikiki to take a look.

Pop H는 컬러가 정말 다양한데, 직원분께 물어보니 화이트, 블랙, 베이지가 가장 인기가 많다고 하더라고요. 첫 에르메스 귀걸이인 만큼 심플한 컬러가 좋겠다 싶어서 이 세 가지를 귀에 살짝 대보며 비교해봤어요.

(※ 위생상 착용은 불가능하고, 귀에 대보는 정도만 가능했어요.)
The Pop H line comes in a wide range of colors. The staff said the most popular ones were white, black, and beige. Since it was going to be my very first pair of Hermès earrings, I wanted something classic, so I tried holding up all three colors to my ears for comparison.
(*Note: For hygiene reasons, you can’t actually try them on—just hold them up to see how they look.)

시그니처 오렌지 박스

목걸이도 예뻤지만, 개인적으로는 귀걸이가 훨씬 실용적이고 활용도 높아 보여서 귀걸이만 구매하기로 결정했어요. 한국에서는 원하는 색상 구하기가 쉽지 않다던데, 마침 여기엔 재고가 있어 망설임 없이 바로 구입했습니다 :)
Personally, I found the earrings more practical and versatile than the necklace, so I decided to go with just the earrings. I had heard that certain colors can be hard to find in Korea, but luckily, the one I had my eye on was in stock - so I didn’t think twice.

가격은 $540, 세금이 4.7%라 최종 결제 금액은 약 $565 정도였어요. (※하와이는 면세 지역이 아니기 때문에, 구매 시 세일즈 택스가 부과 돼요! 공항에서도 별도의 면세 환급은 불가능합니다.)
The price was $540, and with Hawaii’s 4.7% sales tax, the final total came to around $565. (*Hawaii is not a duty-free area, so sales tax applies to purchases, and you can’t get a tax refund at the airport either.)

Mini Pop H Earrings

에르메스답게 포장도 정말 정성스러웠어요. 시그니처 오렌지 박스에 리본까지 곱게 묶여 있었고, 안쪽에는 로고가 새겨진 작은 파우치에 귀걸이가 담겨 있었어요. 지금도 보관은 늘 그 파우치에 그대로 하고 있답니다. 꺼낼 때마다 괜히 기분이 좋아지는, 그런 포장이에요 :)
As expected from Hermès, the packaging was absolutely exquisite. The earrings came in the iconic orange box, tied with a signature ribbon, and inside was a small pouch with the Hermès logo, holding the earrings safely. I still keep them in that pouch—it's the kind of packaging that makes you smile every time you take it out.

Marron Glacé (마롱 글라쎄)

제가 고른 색상은 Marron Glacé(마롱 글라쎄), 이름처럼 은은한 밤색이 도는 따뜻한 베이지 컬러예요. 메탈은 로즈골드였고, 톤 다운된 컬러감 덕분에 어떤 옷에도 무난하게 어울릴 것 같았어요.
The color I chose is called Marron Glacé—a warm beige with subtle brown undertones, just like its name suggests. The metal is rose gold, and the subdued tones make it easy to match with almost any outfit.

뒷면

뒷면에는 Made in France 각인이 되어 있었고, 작지만 확실한 디테일 덕분에 더 만족스러웠어요.
There’s also a “Made in France” engraving on the back—a small detail, but one that made me appreciate the piece even more.

하와이에서의 마지막 날, 작은 설렘으로 들어간 에르메스 매장에서 오래도록 간직하고 싶은 여행의 기념품을 하나 남기게 됐어요. 앞으로 중요한 순간마다 함께할, 저만의 작은 에르메스예요 :)
On the last day in Hawaii, I walked into Hermès on a little whim and walked out with a special keepsake from our trip—something I hope to wear on many meaningful occasions in the future. It’s my own little Hermès, full of lovely memories :)
