The cafe is located on the 2nd floor of the Annyoung Insadong building. The area is surrounded by various traditional craft shops, charming boutiques, and galleries, making it a perfect spot to stroll and explore Insadong before or after visiting the cafe.

카페 안은 밝고 화사한 분위기였어요. 채광이 좋아 전체 공간이 환하고 따뜻하게 느껴졌고, 테이블 사이사이 놓인 작은 식물들이 싱그러움을 더해주었답니다.
The cafe has a bright and cheerful atmosphere. With plenty of natural light, the space feels warm and airy, and the small plants placed between tables add a touch of freshness.

메뉴는 초당옥수수 빙수, 아이스 바닐라라떼, 그리고 담꽃 시그니처 플래터를 주문했어요. 이번 여름 시즌 메뉴였던 초당옥수수 빙수는 옥수수가 듬뿍 올라가 있어, 톡톡 터지는 식감과 고소함, 시원함까지 한 번에 즐길 수 있는 메뉴였답니다. 여름철에만 맛볼 수 있는 제철 재료라 더 특별하게 느껴졌지만, 시즌이 끝나면 맛볼 수 없다는 점이 조금 아쉬웠어요.
We ordered the Chodang Corn Shaved Ice, Iced Vanilla Latte, and the Damccot Signature Platter. The summer seasonal special, Chodang Corn Shaved Ice, was topped with plenty of corn, offering a satisfying crunch along with a nutty and refreshing flavor. Since Chodang corn is a seasonal ingredient available only in summer, it felt extra special, though it’s a bit disappointing that it’s not available year-round.

담꽃 시그니처 플래터는 다양한 디저트가 한 상에 담겨 있는 메뉴예요. 구움과자, 양갱, 작은 떡 등 전통 한식 디저트 4종류가 조화롭게 구성되어 있어, 한 입씩 맛볼 때마다 각기 다른 식감과 달콤함을 느낄 수 있었답니다. 고소하고 부드러운 맛이 전체적으로 균형 있게 어우러져, 어르신들도 좋아하실 메뉴였어요.
The Damkkot Signature Platter features a variety of desserts all on one plate. It includes four types of traditional Korean sweets, such as baked goods, red bean jelly, and small rice cakes. Each bite offers a different texture and sweetness, perfectly balanced overall, making it a menu item that older guests would also enjoy.
