주말에 독립문 공원에 놀러 갔다가 분식을 먹고 왔어요. 독립문역 근처에 있는 ‘짱구 떡볶이’는 부산식 쌀떡볶이를 맛볼 수 있는 곳으로, 분식 메뉴가 다양해서 간단하게 식사하기 딱 좋았답니다.
Last weekend, my family and I visited Jjanggu Tteok-bokki, a small snack shop near Dongnimmun Station. For those who don’t know, tteok-bokki is a popular Korean street food made of chewy rice cakes in a spicy and slightly sweet sauce, often served with fish cakes, fried snacks, or boiled eggs.

식당은 독립문역 3번 출구 바로 앞, 경희궁 롯데캐슬 1층 상가에 위치해 있어요. 출구에서 나오자마자 눈에 띄는 빨간 간판 덕분에 금방 찾을 수 있었어요.
근처에 독립문공원과 서대문형무소역사관이 있어서, 산책 후 들르기에도 딱 좋은 위치입니다.
The shop is located on the first floor of Kyunghee-gung Lotte Castle, right in front of Exit 3. The bright red sign made it easy to spot. It’s a convenient stop if you’re walking around Dongnimmun Park or visiting the nearby Seodaemun Prison History Hall.
짱구떡볶이는 이름처럼 떡볶이를 중심으로 한 분식 메뉴를 판매하고 있어요. 대표 메뉴는 부산식 쌀떡볶이로, 일반 밀떡보다 더 쫄깃하고 소스가 잘 배는 게 특징이에요.
그 외에도 튀김, 순대, 오뎅, 라면, 김밥 등 분식집의 기본 메뉴를 모두 갖추고 있어서 간단한 한 끼나 간식으로 즐기기 좋아요.
Jjanggu Tteokbokki specializes in Busan-style rice tteok-bokki, which uses thick, chewy rice cakes and has a lighter, clearer sauce compared to the sweeter, thicker Seoul-style version. They also serve fried snacks, soon-dae (Korean blood sausage), odeng (fish cake), kimbap, and cupbaps (rice in a cup with toppings).

Ordering is super easy with their self-service kiosk, so even first-time visitors can place their orders quickly and conveniently.
이날은 라면을 먹진 않았지만, 한강라면을 끓일 수 있는 기계가 있어서 신기했어요.
저희가 주문한 메뉴는 제육 컵밥, 스팸 계란마요 컵밥, 청포도 슬러시, 그리고 부산식 쌀떡튀순 세트입니다.
We didn’t try the ramen that day, but I thought it was interesting that they had a ramen cooking machine.
On this visit, we ordered Spicy Pork Cupbap, Spam & Egg Mayo Cupbap, a Green Grape Slush, and the Busan-Style Rice Tteok-bokki with Fried Snacks and Soon-dae set.
제육 컵밥은 남편의 소울푸드라 할 만큼 좋아하는 메뉴인데, 매콤달콤한 양념이 밥과 잘 어울려서 정말 맛있게 먹었어요.
The Spicy Pork Cupbap is my husband’s favorite—his “soul food”—and the sweet and spicy sauce paired perfectly with the rice, making it really delicious.
스팸 계란마요 컵밥은 아이의 최애 메뉴! 부드러운 계란마요와 고소한 스팸이 밥과 함께 잘 섞여, 아이 입맛에 잘 맞았어요.
The Spam & Egg Mayo Cupbap is my child’s favorite! The creamy egg mayo and savory spam mixed perfectly with the rice, making it just right for my kid’s taste.
부산식 쌀떡튀순 세트는 쫄깃한 쌀떡볶이, 바삭한 튀김, 그리고 순대가 각각 한 접시씩 나와서 다양하게 즐길 수 있었어요. 굵은 쌀떡 3개는 어묵과 함께 서빙되는데, 가위로 잘라 먹으니 쫄깃하고 양념이 잘 배어 정말 맛있었답니다. 튀김은 떡볶이 국물에 살짝 찍어 먹으니 바삭함과 매콤달콤한 양념이 어우러져 더욱 맛있었고, 순대는 허파와 간까지 골고루 들어 있어요.
개인적으로 허파를 제일 좋아하는데 떡볶이 국물에 찍어 먹으면 정말 맛있었어요.
The Busan-Style Rice Tteok-bokki with Fried Snacks and Soon-dae set came in separate portions, making it easy to enjoy a variety of flavors. The thick rice cakes were served with fish cakes, and cutting them with scissors revealed a wonderfully chewy texture with the sauce perfectly absorbed. The fried snacks were even better when dipped in the tteok-bokki sauce, combining crispiness with the sweet and spicy flavors. The soon-dae included a mix of liver and lungs, offering a rich and savory taste. (Personally, I love the liver the most..)
짱구 떡볶이는 산책이나 외출 중 짧은 시간에 간편하게 한 끼 해결하고 싶을 때 추천드리고 싶은 곳이에요.
맛도 있고, 메뉴도 다양해서 부담 없이 즐길 수 있었어요 :)
Jjanggu Tteok-bokki is a perfect spot if you’re looking for a quick, tasty meal during a walk or outing. The food is flavorful, the menu is varied, and you can enjoy it without any hassle. It’s definitely a great place to visit if you’re craving Korean street food.
