도쿄 여행이 결정되었을 때, 가장 먼저 떠오른 곳이 팀랩 플래닛과 디즈니랜드였어요. 팀랩은 서울 DDP에서도 전시한 적이 있었지만, 그때 만해도 팬데믹이었고 아이가 더 어렸을 때라 갈 엄두를 못 냈어요. 이제는 함께 즐길 수 있는 6세라 기대하며 방문했습니다 :)
When I decided to visit Tokyo, the first places I wanted to go were TeamLab Planets and Disneyland. TeamLab had previously exhibited at Seoul DDP, but at that time, there was a pandemic, and my child was younger, so I wasn't able to go. Now that my child is older and we can enjoy it together, I visited with great anticipation.

I was delighted to see photos of Victoria Beckham and BLACKPINK's Jennie visiting TeamLab Planets Tokyo on their Instagram accounts. As soon as I saw the pictures, I was like, "Wow!"😆
팀랩 플래닛 도쿄는 유리카모메 라인 신토요스역 2분 거리에 위치해 있어요. 유리카모메 라인은 무인 지상철로, 강변과 바다를 따라 운행되더라고요. 맨 앞이나, 맨 뒷칸에 탑승할 경우 바깥 구경하기 좋은 좌석이 있기 때문에 저희는 갈 때는 맨 뒤, 올 때는 맨 앞칸에 탔었어요. 이날 따라 날씨도 좋아서, 열차 밖으로 보이는 아름다운 경치를 바라보는 것도 즐거운 경험이었습니다 :)
TeamLab Planets Tokyo is located just a 2-minute walk from Shin-toyosu Station on the Yurikamome Line. The Yurikamome Line is an unmanned elevated train that runs along the riverside and coastline. We found it enjoyable to sit in the front or rear cars because they offer great views of the outside.The weather was lovely that day, and it added to the pleasure of gazing at the beautiful scenery outside the train.
각 역마다 그림이 그려져있는데, 아마도 그 지역의 특색을 반영한 그림인 것 같았어요. 다니다보면 디테일 하나하나에 놀라게 되는 일본 :)
Each station has a drawing in front of it, and it seemed like the drawings reflected the characteristics of the respective areas. As you walk around, you'll be amazed by the attention to detail in Japan.

오후 2시 30분 입장으로 예약했는데, 1시쯤 도착해서 가까운 편의점에서 커피를 한 잔 마셨어요. 도보 5분거리에 내츄럴 로손 편의점이 있더라고요.
I had made a reservation for admission at 2:30 P.M., but I arrived around 1 P.M., so I went to a nearby convenience store and had a cup of coffee. There was a Natural Lawson convenience store just a 5-minute walk away.
예약한 시간보다 조금 일찍 가도 입장할 수 있다는 포스팅을 봤기에, 커피 마신 후 2시쯤 갔는데 바로 입장할 수 있었어요.
입장권은 2주 전에 KKDAY를 통해서 예약했어요. 입장권을 판매하는 사이트는 여러곳 있지만, 사이트별로 예약 가능한 날짜는 다 다르더라고요. 클룩의 경우 7월부터만 예매가 가능한 상황이라, 6월에 예약 가능한 곳을 찾다보니 KKDAY에서 예약을 하게 되었어요. 가격은 성인2명+어린이 1명에 77,486원이었습니다.
예약 후 메일로 바우처를 보내주는데, 현장에서 별도의 교환/확인 절차 없이 바우처의 QR코드만 찍고 바로 입장할 수 있어요.
I saw a blog post mentioning that it is possible to enter a little earlier than the reserved time. So, after enjoying my coffee, I arrived around 2 P.M. and was able to enter immediately.
I booked the admission tickets through KKDAY two weeks ago. While there are several websites that sell admission tickets, each site has different available dates. Since Klook only had availability starting from July, I searched for a place that allowed reservations in June and ultimately booked through KKDAY. The total price for two adults and one child was 77,486 KRW.
After making the reservation, I received a voucher via email. At the venue, I simply had to scan the QR code on the voucher without any need for additional exchange or verification process.
라커룸에 입장하기 전, 체험 주의사항에 대한 안내 방송을 보고 들어갔어요.
대략 기억 나는 내용은,
- (성인 기준) 무릎 높이의 물이 있는 체험공간이 있으므로, 필요할 경우 반바지 대여하기 (무료 대여 가능)
- 몸이 불편하거나 체험이 어려운 경우, 직원에게 도움을 요청하면 다른 길을 안내 받을 수 있음
- 사진촬영은 가능하지만, 플래시 금지
- 소지품은 다 개인 라커에 보관 후 입장
반바지에 대한 내용은 미리 숙지를 했기 때문에, 흰색 티셔츠+반바지 차림으로 온 가족이 맞춰입고 갔어요. 흰색 티셔츠를 입으면 사진이 잘 나온다고 하더라고요 :)
Before entering, I listened to the safety guidelines and instructions through the broadcast.
Here's what I roughly remember:
- For the experience area with water at knee height (based on adults), it was recommended to wear shorts if needed (free rentals available).
- If anyone felt physically uncomfortable or had difficulty with the experience, they could request assistance from the staff and receive alternative guidance.
- Photography is allowed, but the use of flash is prohibited.
- Personal belongings should be stored in individual lockers before entering.
Since we were already aware of the information regarding shorts, our whole family dressed in white t-shirts and shorts. It was mentioned that wearing a white t-shirt would result in good photos.
체험은 Water Area와 Garden Area로 나뉘어져있어요. Water Area부터 먼저 관람할 수 있도록 동선이 설정되어있습니다.
The museum is divided into two areas: the Water Area and the Garden Area. The itinerary is set up so that you can visit the Water Area first.
- Water Area
시작하면서 물을 밟고 들어가게 되는데, 본격적으로 전시를 체험하기 전에 발을 씻어주는 느낌이었어요. 약간 수영장 냄새도 났습니다...ㅎㅎㅎ 물기를 닦을 수 있는 수건도 준비되어있어서 발을 깨끗이 닦은 후에(?) Soft Black Hole로 입장하게 돼요.
사진은 없지만, 거대한 빈백으로 이루어진 곳이라 중심 잡기가 쉽지 않았어요. 아이는 상황극을 만들어내며 정말 즐거워하더라고요. 온 몸으로 체험하며 즐길 수 있는 곳이라 시작부터 흥미로웠어요.
As I walked in, I was able to enter a stream stepping into the water. It felt like washing my feet before fully immersing yourself in the exhibition. There was even a slight smell of a swimming pool... Towels were provided to dry off, so after wiping our feet clean, we entered the 'Soft Black Hole area'.
Although I don't have any pictures of the 'Soft Black Hole area', it was a space filled with giant beanbags, making it challenging to find a stable position. However, my child was delighted at this area. It was an immersive experience where you could fully engage and enjoy with your whole body, making it fascinating right from the start.
들어서자마자 황홀했던 Infinite Crystal Universe. 조명이 계속 바뀌는데 정말 기분이 묘하더라고요. 이 공간에 서있으니, 오길 잘했다는 생각이 백번 천번 들었어요.
The 'Infinite Crystal Universe' was absolutely enchanting from the moment I entered. The lights continuously changed, creating a mesmerizing and indescribable atmosphere. As I stood in that space, I couldn't help but feel that coming here was the right decision.
물이 무릎 높이까지 올라오는 Drawing on the Water Surface. 여기서 첨벙첨벙 수영하는 아이들도 봤어요.....😅
하얀 물에 영상이 띄워져있는데, 저희가 갔을 때는 꽃잎이 흩어지고 잉어들이 헤엄치고 있었어요. 물 속에서 음악을 들으며, 물에 비쳐지는 그림을 보니 역시나 황홀한 기분이 들었어요.
I also saw some kids splashing around and swimming in the 'Drawing on the Water Surface' area, where the water rose up to knee height... 😅
The white water had projected images. When we visited, there were scattered flower petals and swimming fish. It was an enchanting experience to listen to music underwater and observe the images reflecting in the water.
체험 중 한 곳은 저희가 방문했던 기간에 보수 중이라, 아쉽게도 볼 수 없었어요. 이제는 7월이니 다시 오픈 했겠네요 :)
One of the areas was undergoing maintenance during our visit, so unfortunately, we couldn't see it. However, since it is now July, I assume it has reopened.
마지막 체험은 거대한 돔모양의 공간 안에서 영상이 펼쳐지는데, 공간이 움직이는듯한 느낌이 들어서 처음에는 살짝 어지럽더라고요. 누워서 관람하는 분들도 많이 계셔서 저도 누워서 잠시 감상했습니다.
The final experience took place inside a massive dome-shaped space where a video of blooming flowers was projected. Although the space itself wasn't moving, the video gave me the sensation of floating, which was slightly dizzying at first. Many people were lying down to watch, so I also took a moment to lie down and fully immerse myself in the experience.
- Garden Area
Water Area 관람이 끝나고, Garden Area로 이동했어요.
After completing the experience in the Water Area, I proceeded to the Garden Area.
Moss Garden은 실외에 설치된 공간인데 귀여운 모양의 조형물이 정원에 가득차 있었어요. 해가 진 후에는 조명이 들어와서 또 색다른 느낌이라고 하더라고요. 저희는 낮에 방문했기 때문에 밝은 모습만 봤어요.
The 'Moss Garden', which was installed outdoors, was filled with adorable sculptures. I heard that after sunset, the area was illuminated, creating a completely different atmosphere. Since we visited during the day, we only saw the bright appearance of the sculptures.
마지막으로 꽃이 가득했던 Floating flower garden. 매달린 꽃이 모두 생화라서 깜짝 놀랐어요. 바닥과 벽면은 거울이고 위 아래로 움직이는 꽃 사이에 있으니 신비로운 느낌이 가득했어요. 이곳에서도 바닥에 누워서 잠시 감상했습니다. 이 체험은 관람 시간이 제한되어있기 때문에 직원의 안내에 따라 퇴장해야했어요.
Lastly, there was the 'Floating Flower Garden', which was filled with blossoms. I was pleasantly surprised to see that all the hanging flowers were real. The floor and walls were made of mirrors, and being surrounded by flowers moving up and down created a mystical atmosphere. I also took a moment to lie down on the floor and appreciate the scene. Since there was a time limit for this experience, we had to follow the staff's instructions and exit accordingly.

As I browse through the photos and videos saved on my phone, memories come flooding back. TeamLab Planets Tokyo was truly an immersive exhibition where we could engage with it using our whole bodies. It was an enjoyable and delightful experience that I had.
The exhibition had a diverse range of installations, from stepping into water to lying down and watching videos projected above. Each moment was unique and captivating. I particularly remember the mesmerizing lights in 'The Infinite Crystal Universe' and the sensation of floating in the 'Floating Flower Garden'.
Looking back at the pictures and videos, I can't help but reminisce about the good times we had. TeamLab Planets Tokyo is a place I highly recommend to anyone visiting Tokyo. It offers a one-of-a-kind experience that will leave you with lasting memories.
