동네에서 애정하는 카페 중 하나인, 롱앤쇼트! 2년 전 카페 불모지였던 홍제천 가까이에, 아담하고 예쁜 공간이 생겨서 기뻐했던 기억이 나네요. 얼마 전에 들러 커피와 샌드위치를 먹고 와서, 포스팅해봅니다.
Cafe 'Long and Short' is among my favorite spots in the neighborhood. A couple of years ago, the area near Hongje Stream lacked cafes, so I was delighted when this charming place was opened. I recently dropped by for coffee and a sandwich, so I thought I'd share a post about it.

롱앤쇼트는 홍제 폭포에서 홍은사거리 가는 방향에 위치해있어요. 폭포랑 가까워서 구경하고 홍제천 산책하다 들르기 좋아요. 홍제천 양 옆으로 차도가 있다보니 뷰가 없는 점이 안타깝긴 한데, 서대문구에서 신경을 많이 쓰고 있어 주변이 점점 좋아지고는 있습니다 :)
Long and Short is situated near Hongje Waterfall. Its proximity to the waterfall makes it a great spot to enjoy the scenery and take a stroll along Hongje Stream. While it's a bit disappointing that there's no view on both sides of the stream due to the presence of roads, the surrounding area is gradually improving, thanks to the attention from Seodaemun District.
평일은 오전 9시 ~ 오후 5시 30분, 주말은 오전 9시 30분 ~ 오후 6시까지 영업하고요, 매주 목요일 휴무에요. 동네 카페 중에서는 오픈시간이 빠른 편이에요. 인스타그램을 통해서도 소통을 활발히 하시는 편이라, 영업 시간이나 휴무일을 확인하기가 수월해요.
On weekdays, the café is open from 9:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M., and on weekends, it operates from 9:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. The café is closed every Thursday. Among the local cafes, it has an earlier opening time. They are active on Instagram, making it easy to check their operating hours and closures through social media communication.

The interior is filled with a warm and cozy ambiance.
카페 안에 화장실도 있어서 이용하기가 편리합니다.
There is also a restroom inside the cafe, making it convenient for customers.
심플하지만, 매장과 잘 어울리는 트리. 벌써 크리스마스도 코 앞으로 다가왔네요.

애플 브라운 샌드위치는 빵을 베이글 또는 바게트로 선택할 수 있었는데요, 베이글이 조금 더 부드럽다고 하셔서 이 날은 베이글로 먹었습니다.
For the Apple Brown Sandwich, you could choose between a bagel or a baguette. Since they mentioned that the bagel is a bit softer, I decided to go with it on that day.
브라운 치즈와 견과류, 야채와 얇게 슬라이스된 사과의 조화가 좋은 샌드위치에요.
It's a sandwich with a delicious blend of brown cheese, nuts, vegetables, and thinly sliced apples.
샌드위치 커피의 조합은 사랑이죠. 이날 산미가 적은 원두를 선택해서(무슨 원두인지는 까먹...), 필터 커피를 마셨는데 부드럽고 맛있었어요.
The combination of a sandwich and coffee is just my favorite. On this day, I chose a coffee bean with less acidity (I forgot which bean it was...), and opted for a filter coffee. It was smooth and delicious.
2년 넘게 같은 자리에 계셔서, 개인적으로는 그저 감사하네요ㅎㅎㅎ 홍제동과 홍제 폭포가 더 활성화되면서, 오래오래 번창하시길🫶
