지난 주말, 오랜만에 짝꿍과 함께 정동길을 걸었어요. 정동은 복잡한 도심과는 느낌이 많이 다른 곳이에요. 역시 사대문과 가까울수록 좋은 서울 :) (이건 어디까지나 제 개인적인 기준입니다...ㅎㅎ)
Last weekend, I walked along the streets of Jeongdong with my husband. It is one of my favorite places in Seoul.
짝꿍의 추천으로, 어반 가든이라는 곳에 점심을 먹으러 갔어요. 어반 가든은 단독 건물을 사용하고 있는 레스토랑인데요, 스몰웨딩이나 돌잔치 등 문화 공간으로도 활용되는 곳인가봐요.
My husband recommended having lunch at a place called Urban Garden. It's a restaurant in a standalone building and appears to be utilized as a cultural space for events such as small weddings or first birthday celebrations.

입구에 블루 리본이 꽤 많이 붙어있어서 맛은 어느정도 보장되는 곳 :)
There are quite a few blue ribbons at the entrance, giving me the assurance that the food will be delicious.
저희는 미리 예약을 했더니, 2층으로 안내 받았어요.
We had made a reservation in advance, and we were seated at the second floor.
초록초록한 느낌으로 꾸며져 있는데, 사진이 예쁘게 나오더라고요.
The room was decorated with a green, lush feeling.
원목 느낌 테이블과 생화도 잘 어울리고, 커트러리 셋팅도 예쁘게 되어있었어요.
The wooden table and fresh flowers complemented each other well, and the cutlery setting was also arranged nicely.
저희는 커플 세트 중, 비프 함박 스테이크를 주문했어요. 커플 세트는 총 5가지 요리가 코스로 서빙됩니다. 따뜻하게 구워진 식전빵으로 우선 입맛을 돋궈주었어요.
We ordered the Hamburger Steak couple set. The couple set consists of a total of 5 dishes served as a course. We first enjoyed our appetites with warm-baked pre-meal bread.
다음으로는 커플 샐러드가 나왔어요. 야채가 다양하게 들어있고, 오일과 발사믹 식초 베이스의 상큼한 샐러드였어요.
Next, the salad arrived. It was a refreshing salad with a variety of vegetables, dressed in an oil and balsamic vinegar base.
오늘의 스프는 대파 베이컨 크림 스프가 서빙되었어요. 고소하고 맛있었습니다.
Today's soup was served as green onion bacon cream soup. It was rich and delicious.
파스타는 명란 로제 파스타로 선택했어요. 파스타도 부드럽고 맛있더라고요.
For the pasta, I chose the mentaiko rose pasta. It was also very smooth and delicious.
양배추 무 피클도 함께 서빙되었고요.
The cabbage radish pickles were also served alongside.
그리고 메인 요리 비프 함박 스테이크가 나왔어요. 고기의 식감이 잘 느껴지고, 후추맛이 강하게 나는 함박이었어요.
The main dish, Hamburger Steak, had a chewy texture and a strong smoke pepper flavor.
다양한 구운 야채가 함께 나와서, 곁들여먹으니 든든했어요.
A variety of roasted vegetables accompanied the dish, making it a satisfying meal when enjoyed together.
후식으로는 망고 판나코타가 서빙되었어요. 판나코타는 이태리 가정식 푸딩이라고 하네요. 우유 베이스로 만들어졌는데, 개인적으로 살짝 느끼했어요. 코스로 먹다보니 마지막에 배가 불러서 그랬나봐요...ㅎㅎ
For dessert, mango panna cotta was served. Panna cotta is said to be an Italian home-style pudding. It's made with a milk base, and personally, I found it slightly rich. Perhaps having it as part of the course made me feel quite full at the end.
어반 가든은 소개팅이나, 커플들이 데이트 하기 좋은 레스토랑 같아보였어요. 저희는 11년차 헌혼부부지만, 오랜만에 둘이서 이탈리안 먹으러 나오니 데이트하던 시절이 생각나더라고요....
