맥도날드 해피밀 토이가 업데이트되면, 아이와 늘 함께 방문해서 해피밀을 먹었는데요. 저희가 자주 가는 매장이 토이 재고를 많이 안 들여오는지, 언제부턴가 출시 다음날 방문해도 늘 품절이더라고요. 최근 여러 번 토이 획득에 실패하고... 저도 속상한 마음에, 오늘은 그리머스 동전 지갑을 구입해 버렸습니다. (이상한 결론ㅋㅋ)
Whenever a new McDonald's Happy Meal toy is released, I always visit with my child to enjoy a Happy Meal together. However, at the branch we frequently visit, it seems like they don't stock a lot of toys. Even if we go only the day after the new toy is released, they're always sold out. After several recent failures in getting the toys, I was a bit disappointed myself, so today, I ended up buying a Grimace coin purse instead. (Which was an amusingly unexpected solution....)
단순하지만 귀여운 캐릭터, 그리머스. 짱짱한 비닐에 쌓인 단상자 안에 포장되어 있어요. 이 동전 지갑은 맥도날드에서 버거 세트 구매 시, 6,500원에 구입할 수 있는데요. 해피밀은 행사에서 제외더라고요.
The simple yet adorable character, Grimace, comes packaged in a sturdy cardboard box wrapped in thick plastic. You can purchase this coin purse at McDonald's for 6,500 KRW when you buy a burger set. Unfortunately, Happy Meals aren’t included in the promotion.

크기는 넉넉한 편이라, 동전뿐만 아니라 작은 소지품을 휴대하기에 좋아요. 사실 한국에서는 동전 쓸 일이 거의 없고, 일본 여행 때 가지고 가면 좋겠다는 생각이 들었어요.
The size is big enough for carrying not only coins but also small items. Honestly, coins aren’t used much in Korea, so I thought it would be perfect to take along on a trip to Japan.
해피밀 토이를 얻지 못한 아이에게 좋은 선물이 되었기를...!
