After checking out from Signiel, we headed to Seoryeong at Lotte World Mall in Jamsil for lunch. I had seen this place a lot on social media as a popular spot for Pyeongyang-style cold noodles, so we decided to give it a try. Located on the 6th floor of the mall, it was easy to find, and the clean, modern interior made it a comfortable place to dine with family, friends, or even on a casual date.
평양냉면을 비롯해 다양한 한식 메뉴를 즐길 수 있는 서령 :) 대표 메뉴로는 서향순면, 비빔순면, 들기름순면 등이 있으며, 가격은 약 17,000원대입니다. 냉면과 함께 즐기기 좋은 항정제육, 만두국, 수육 등 다양한 사이드 메뉴도 마련되어 있어, 취향에 맞게 골라 먹을 수 있어요.
The restaurant specializes in cold buckwheat noodles, but they also offer a variety of Korean dishes. Their signature items include Seoryeong Sunmyeon (cold noodles in clear broth), Bibim Sunmyeon (spicy noodles), and Deulgireum Sunmyeon (noodles with perilla oil), each priced around 17,000 KRW. For sides, they have dishes like pork, dumpling soup, and steamed meat — perfect for pairing with noodles.
서령에서는 테이블에 비치된 태블릿으로 간편하게 주문할 수 있어요. 뿐만 아니라 직원 호출도 태블릿을 통해 바로 할 수 있어 편리했습니다.
Ordering is simple with a tablet provided at the table, and utensils and tissues are neatly stored in the side drawer.
수저와 티슈는 테이블 옆 서랍에 깔끔하게 정리되어 있어, 필요할 때 바로 꺼내어 사용할 수 있어요.
서령에서는 주문 후 따뜻한 메밀차가 제공돼요. 메밀차는 메밀의 고소한 향과 담백한 맛이 특징으로, 냉면이나 한식 사이드 메뉴와 함께 즐기면 입맛을 깔끔하게 정리해 주고, 식사 시작 전에도 부담 없이 마시기 좋아요.
A pot of warm buckwheat tea is served at the beginning, which has a nutty aroma and clean taste, making it a great start before the meal.
기본찬은 세 가지가 제공되더라고요.
잘 익은 배추김치는 담백하면서도 깔끔한 맛이 특징이고, 새콤달콤하게 절인 무는 아삭한 식감으로 입맛을 돋워줍니다. 또한 고추가루로 살짝 무쳐낸 무생채는 알싸한 맛과 아삭한 식감이 더해져, 냉면이나 사이드 메뉴와 함께 즐기면 전체적인 식사의 조화를 한층 살려줍니다.
Three simple side dishes came out with our order: crisp napa cabbage kimchi, tangy pickled radish, and lightly seasoned radish strips. They paired perfectly with the cold noodles.
아이는 면 요리를 좋아하지 않아 만두국을 주문해주었어요.
만두는 속이 꽉 차 있고 부드러운 만두피와 촉촉한 속이 조화를 이루어, 국물과 함께 한 입 먹으면 담백하면서도 깊은 맛을 느낄 수 있습니다. 맑은 국물에는 고기 고명이 올려져 있어, 깔끔하면서도 풍부한 맛을 더해주었어요.
Since my son doesn’t really enjoy noodle dishes, we ordered him a dumpling soup. The dumplings were generously filled with juicy meat and wrapped in soft, tender skin. Combined with the clear, savory broth and a garnish of sliced beef, the soup had a comforting depth of flavor.
저는 서령순면을 주문했어요. 담백한 육수와 쫄깃한 면발이 특징인 이 메뉴는, 한 입 먹으면 깊은 국물 맛이 입안 가득 퍼지면서 메밀 특유의 고소한 향과 깔끔한 뒷맛이 함께 느껴집니다. 무더운 여름에도 가볍고 시원하게 즐기기 좋은 메뉴라, 더욱 만족스러웠어요.
I ordered the Seoryeong Sunmyeon, which featured a clean, savory broth and chewy noodles. The nutty flavor of buckwheat came through nicely, leaving a refreshing aftertaste. It was the perfect dish to enjoy on a hot summer day — light, cooling, yet satisfying.
짝꿍은 들기름순면을 주문했어요. 들기름순면은 고소한 들기름 향이 풍부하게 배어 있는 면과 담백한 육수가 조화를 이루고, 신선한 무피클이 함께 들어 있어 아삭한 식감과 상큼함을 더해줍니다. 톡 쏘는 맛보다는 부드럽고 고소한 맛이 강해서, 여름철 가볍게 즐기면서도 입안 가득 풍미를 느끼기에 좋더라고요.
My husband tried the Deulgireum Sunmyeon, noodles topped with fragrant perilla oil and fresh radish pickles. The nutty aroma blended beautifully with the noodles, offering a softer, more savory taste compared to the classic broth noodles.
항정제육도 맛보고 싶어서 반접시를 주문했는데요. 부드럽게 삶아낸 항정살과 함께 매콤새콤한 무생채가 곁들여 나오고, 쌈장, 마늘, 새우젓 등과 함께 먹으니 맛있더라고요.
We also decided to try the pork slices (Hangjeong Je-yuk, half portion) on the side. The boiled pork was tender and paired with tangy radish salad, plus condiments like ssamjang, garlic, and salted shrimp.
잡내가 없고 담백해서 냉면과도 정말 잘 어울렸어요.
It had a clean and savory flavor that matched wonderfully with the noodles.
