신용산역 용리단길 맛집 [대림국수/Daelim Noodles]

중고등학교 동창들을 만나러 신용산역에 다녀왔어요. 점심 약속이라 [대림국수]에 식사하러 갔습니다 :)
I visited Shinyongsan station to meet some friends from high school. We had lunch together at a restaurant called [Daerim Noodles].

한 건물을 통채로 사용하고 있더라고요. 1층이 주방인 것 같고, 2-3층에 좌석이 있어요. 계단으로만 오르내렸는데 엘리베이터가 있었는지는 기억이 잘.... 안나네요. 예약은 따로 안 받으시더라고요.
It seems like they were using the entire building for the restaurant. The first floor appeared to be the kitchen, while the seating area was located on the 2nd and 3rd floors. I personally used the stairs, so I cannot recall if there was an elevator available. Additionally, the restaurant does not accept reservations.

90년대 레트로 감성

처음 가 본 곳인데, 90년대 레트로 감성의 국수집이었어요. 1층의 모니터는 CCTV처럼 카메라가 달려있지만, 식사하는 공간의 모니터에는 90년대 인기 가수들의 노래와 뮤직비디오가 나오고 있었어요. 오랜만에 H.O.T의 리즈시절을 보니 세월이 무상하네요. 중고등학교 시절도 새록새록.
Daerim Noodles is a noodle restaurant with a 90s retro vibe. In the dining area, the monitor played popular songs and music videos from the 90s. It was a nostalgic experience to see H.O.T's prime era after a long time, reminding me of the bygone years of my middle and high school days. Time truly flies.

주문 태블릿

주문은 자리에서 태블릿으로 할 수 있어요. 테이블 위에는 수저, 티슈, 종이컵 등이 준비되어있어요. 물티슈는 따로 없었어요.
You can place your order using a tablet at your table. On the table, you'll find utensils, tissues, and paper cups prepared for you. However, there were no wet wipes available separately.

김치와 단무지

반찬은 김치와 단무지를 주십니다.
They served kimchi and picked radish as a complimentary side dish.

주문한 국수 셋 :)

저희는 다 꼬치국수 온면을 주문했어요. 순한맛과 얼큰한 맛이 있는데 비주얼 차이는 없더라고요. 저는 요즘 맵찔이가 돼서 순한맛으로 먹었습니다.
We ordered Kkochi-guksu, which is a hot noodle dish with a chicken skewer. It is available in mild and spicy flavors, but there was no visual difference between them. Since I have become sensitive to spicy food lately, I chose the mild flavor.

꼬치국수 온면 11,000원 (순한맛)

숯불에 구워서 불향이 나는 꼬치는 국수와 잘 어울렸어요. 견봉살이라는 닭의 특수부위를 사용한 꼬치인데(어깨살로 추정됨) 퍽퍽함 없이 부드럽고 맛있었어요.
The grilled skewer had a delightful smoky aroma that paired perfectly with the noodles. They used a special cut of chicken called "gyeonbong-sal," which is likely from the shoulder. The meat was tender, flavorful, and not at all tough. It was truly delicious.

국수에는 차돌박이로 추정되는 고기도 듬뿍 들어있어요. 면도 쫄깃하고 국물도 맛있고. 가격대도 합리적이라 부담없이 한끼 먹기 좋은 곳이더라고요.
저녁에는 포장마차처럼 운영되어, 데이트나 맥주한 잔 하러 많이들 찾아오실 거 같아요. 검색해보니 체인점이 여러곳에 위치해 있더라고요. 다른 메뉴 맛보러 또 가봐야겠어요 :)
The noodles were generously filled with beef.(I think it was brisket..) The noodles had a chewy texture, and the broth was delicious. The prices were reasonable, making it a great place to enjoy a meal without feeling burdened.
During the evening, the restaurant transforms into a bar-like atmosphere, attracting many visitors for dates or simply to enjoy a refreshing glass of beer. Upon further investigation, I discovered that this restaurant is part of a chain with multiple branches. I should visit again to try out their other menu items.
