화창했던 봄날, 옛 직장 동료들과 식사를 하러 [스미스가 좋아하는 한옥]에 갔어요. (스미스 씨는 대체 누구일까 늘 궁금합니다...)
레스토랑은 안국역에서 도보로 약 10분 거리예요.

On a beautiful spring day, I went to [스미스가 좋아하는 한옥/Han-ok that Smith likes] with my former colleagues for lunch. (I always wonder who this Smith person is...)
The restaurant is about a 10-minute walk from An-guk Station.
저희는 오픈 시간 맞춰서 도착했더니 워크인으로 운 좋게 들어갈 수 있었지만, 가능하면 예약하고 방문하는 게 좋아요. 여기는 평일 낮에도 손님이 끊이질 않는 곳이었어요.
We arrived at the restaurant right after it opened, so we were lucky enough to get a table, but it's better to make a reservation. This place has a steady stream of customers even on weekday afternoons.
예쁜 사진 남기기 좋은 포토존 :) 공간이 멋스럽다 보니 소규모 결혼식이나 돌잔치도 많이 진행하더라고요.
There is a beautiful photo zone where you can take pretty pictures :) The space is very stylish that they also hold many dol-jan-chi celebrations(first birthday party for babies) and small weddings.
레스토랑은 본관과 별관으로 나뉘어 있어요. 뷰는 본관이 좋은 편이고, 별관이 좌석이 널찍한 편이라 5인 이상 단체로 방문할 경우 별관이 좋다고 하네요.
The restaurant is divided into a main room and an annex. The view is better in the main room, while the annex has more spacious seating, so it is recommended for groups of 5 or more.
본관의 창가석은 다 예약되어 있었는데, 제가 앉았던 안쪽 좌석도 나쁘지 않았습니다.
All the window seats in the main room were already reserved, but the seat I sat in, which was on the inside, wasn't bad either.
기본 테이블 세팅. 이탈리안이다 보니 숟가락, 포크, 나이프가 제공돼요.
As it's an Italian restaurant, a spoon, fork and knife are provided.
인원수에 맞춰 먼저 제공된 식전빵과 물티슈. 메뉴도 인원수에 맞춰서 3개 주문했어요.
Bread and wet wipes were provided first according to the number of people. We ordered 3 menus.
짭조름한 프로슈토과 씁쓸한 루꼴라가 잘 어우러지는 화덕 피자였어요.
A pizza with a perfect combination of salty prosciutto and bitter rucola.
직원분이 추천해 주셨던 메뉴, 트러플 오일이 올라간 버섯 크림 리조또. 트러플 오일의 풍미가 좋고 버섯의 식감도 좋았어요. 개인적으로 가장 맛있게 먹은 메뉴 :)
The dish recommended by the staff was the mushroom cream risotto with truffle oil. The flavor of the truffle oil was excellent, and the texture of the mushrooms was great too.
오일 파스타도 해산물이 듬뿍 들어가고 면이 쫄깃하게 삶아져서 맛있었어요.
The oil pasta was also delicious with plenty of seafood in it.
피클도 맛있어서 두 번이나 리필해서 먹었어요.
The pickles were also delicious, so I had them refilled twice.
거의 9년 만에 방문한 곳인데, 여전히 깔끔하고 분위기가 좋아서 기분좋은 식사 시간을 보내고 왔어요. 스미스씨가 떠나지 않고 오래오래 한옥 레스토랑을 운영해주셨으면 좋겠네요 :)
It's been nearly 9 years since my last visit, but the restaurant is still clean and has a fantastic ambiance, so I enjoyed my meal. I hope Smith will continue to run this traditional Korean house restaurant for many years to come :)
