안국역 근처에서 식사 후, 후식 먹으러 간 랜디스 도넛! 저 핑크색 도넛 모형이 낯익다 했는데, 아이언맨2에서 토니 스타크가 앉아있던 도넛이라고 하더라고요. 노티드만큼 유명한 곳 같은데 이제서야 첫 방문을 해보았어요.
After having lunch near An-guk station, I went to Randy's Donuts for dessert. It was my first visit and the huge pink donut seemed familiar. It turned out to be the same donut that Tony Stark sat on during Iron Man 2.

궁세권에 위치한 매장이라 그런지, 입구가 한옥집 기와 모양처럼 만들어져 있어요.
Perhaps because the store is located near a palace, the entrance is designed to look like a traditional Korean house with a tiled roof.
오전 11시에 오픈이고, 평일 오후 1시쯤 방문했을 때 한산하다가 금새 자리가 차더라고요. 주말에는 줄이 꽤 길 거 같아요.
They open at 11A.M., and when I visited around 1P.M. on a weekday, it was not too crowded so I quickly got a seat. However, I think the lines might be quite long on weekends.
도넛 종류는 정말 다양해요. 미국 도넛들이라 크기도 크고 굉장히 푸짐한 느낌이었어요.
There are a variety of donuts, making it hard to pick.
배가 부른 상태에서 달달한 도넛들을 고르다보니, 음료는 아이스 아메리카노로 선택했어요. 원두가 안국 블렌드라고 적혀있는데 안국점 매장에서 특별히 볶은 거겠죠...?
I decided to go with iced Americano for my drink. It was written as An-guk Blend, so I assume they roasted it specifically for this An-guk branch store...?

After placing an order, you can get plates, napkins, forks and other utensils at the self-service counter.
도넛은 박스에 담아서 바로 주셨고, 음료는 진동벨을 받고 조금 기다렸어요. 등받이가 없는 의자들 위주로 있다보니 좌석이 편안하진 않았어요. 코어에 힘 주고 앉아있다보니 운동을 더 열심히 해야겠다는 생각이 들었어요.
The donuts were placed in a box and given to me right away. As for the drinks, I had to wait a bit with a vibrating pager. The seats were consisted of chairs without a backrest, so they weren't very comfortable.
시계 방향으로 옐로우 펌킨 도넛, 애플 프리터, 스프링 어니언 도넛 그리고 누텔라 도넛 총 4개 주문했어요.
다 맛있지만 개인적으로 스프링 어니언 도넛이 정말 맛있었어요. 크림치즈 위에 대파가 올라가 있어서 한끼 식사로도 충분한 도넛이에요. 물론 저는 밥을 먹고 또 먹었지만....
I ordered four donuts, starting with the yellow pumpkin donut and moving clockwise: apple fritter, spring onion donut and Nutella donut. They were all delicious, but personally, I really enjoyed the spring onion donut. It had cream cheese and green onions on top and could even be eaten as a meal by itself. Though, I did have lunch just before I came here...
조금 기다리다보니 음료도 나왔어요. 분명 배부르게 밥을 먹고 왔는데, 저 큰 도넛 4개를 신기하게 또 먹게 되더라고요. 사진 속의 누텔라 도넛은 짝궁이랑 아들이 같이 왔으면 환장하고 먹었을 거 같아요.
After waiting a bit, my drink also arrived. Even though I was already full from lunch, I found myself strangely eating all four of those big donuts. The Nutella donut in the photo would have driven my husband and son crazy if they were here to eat it with me.
제가 크림 필링 도넛보다, 토핑된 도넛을 선호하다보니, 개인적으로는 정말 맛있게 먹었어요. 다음에는 가족들과 또 방문해보고 싶습니다 :)
I prefer topped donuts over cream-filled ones, so I personally liked Randy's Donuts. Next time, I would like to visit again with my family.
