셀프 인테리어 추천 | 셀인룸 데코타일로 바꾼 베란다 바닥 시공 후기

요즘 셀프 인테리어에 관심이 많아서 인스타그램에서 ‘미냉이네 셀프 인테리어’ 계정을 자주 보고 있었어요.
사진도 예쁘고 과정도 솔직하게 올려주셔서 구경하는 재미가 쏠쏠했는데, 얼마 전 셀인룸 데코타일 공동구매를 하시더라고요.
시공할 개수를 체크해 보니 가격이 5만 원대라 부담이 적고, 칙칙한 바닥을 바꿔보고 싶던 차라 이번 기회에 바로 도전해 보기로 했습니다.

Lately, I’ve been interested in DIY interior projects, and I wanted to redo my balcony floor. I discovered the project through Mineng’s Instagram account, where she often shares fun self-interior ideas. When she opened a group order for Cell-in-Room tiles, I finally decided to take the plunge.

마블 노멀그레이 패턴

패턴은 다양하게 판매 중이었는데, 제가 선택한 건 마블 노블 그레이 패턴이에요.
실제로 받아보니 색감이 고급스럽고 깔끔해서, 베란다 분위기를 한층 더 세련되게 만들어 줄 것 같더라고요.

I went with the Cell-in-Room Deco Tile in the Marble Noble Gray pattern. It has this clean, modern vibe that instantly makes the space feel brighter and more stylish.

커터칼과 원형 접착 스티커 70pcs

⚒️시공 준비물
데코타일 시공에 필요한 준비물은 아주 간단했어요.

• 커터칼: 데코타일을 원하는 크기로 자를 때 사용
• 원형 접착 스티커: 모서리나 연결부 마감용

접착식 데코타일 제품도 있지만, 저는 혹시라도 나중에 타일을 들춰볼 일이 생길까 싶어 비접착식으로 구입했어요. 대신 원형 접착 스티커를 사서 모서리마다 고정시켜 주었습니다 :)

자 없이도 타일을 자처럼 대고 자르면 돼서 작업 자체는 큰 어려움이 없었지만, 계속 앉아서 구부린 자세를 유지해야 해서 허리랑 다리가 조금 아프더라고요…

The supplies were actually pretty simple:
• Utility knife – to cut the tiles to size
• Round adhesive stickers – for finishing and securing edges

Cell-in-Room also sells self-adhesive tiles, but I chose the non-adhesive type. I figured it would be easier to lift or adjust them later if needed, so I just bought the round stickers separately (which they also sell).

Cutting the tiles wasn’t too hard — even without a ruler, the utility knife worked fine. The only tricky part was sitting and bending over for a long time, which made my back and knees sore.

제가 사용한 셀인룸 데코타일은 PVC 소재로 만들어져 있어요.
겉으로 보기에는 일반 마루 같은 느낌이지만, 실제로 잘라보면 종이처럼 압축된 질감이 느껴지더라고요. 커터칼로 자를 때는 약간의 가루가 날리는 특징도 있었습니다.

이런 이유 때문에 습기에는 약하고, 반드시 건식 바닥 전용으로만 사용해야 한다는 점을 참고하시면 좋아요. 특히 베란다처럼 외부와 맞닿은 공간이라도 물이 고이지 않는 건식 구조라면 사용이 가능하니, 시공 전 공간의 특성을 꼭 확인하시는 게 중요하더라고요.

The tiles are made of PVC and have a compressed, paper-like texture. When cut, they give off a bit of powder, so I had to keep my vacuum nearby while working. Because of this, they’re only suitable for dry indoor floors, not humid or wet areas. It’s something to keep in mind before choosing where to install them.

시공 과정은 간단한 편이에요.
1. 베란다 바닥을 깨끗하게 청소
2. 데코타일을 원하는 방향에 맞춰 차곡차곡 배치
3. 원형 스티커로 모서리를 고정

붙였다 떼어도 흔적이 크게 남지 않아서, 셀프 인테리어에 처음 도전하는 분들도 충분히 시도할 수 있을 만큼 쉬운 과정이었어요. 모서리마다 붙인 원형 스티커는 생각보다 금방 소진돼서 여분으로 더 사둘 걸 하는 아쉬움이 남더라고요.

The process itself was pretty straightforward:
1. Clean the balcony floor.
2. Lay the tiles in the direction you prefer.
3. Use round stickers to secure the corners and edges.

The stickers don’t leave much of a mark if you remove them, so I’d say even beginners can take this on without much stress. I did run out of stickers faster than expected, though — I wish I had ordered more as backup!

시공은 바닥에 앉아 하나하나 손으로 맞춰가며 진행했는데, 생각보다 꽤 집중력이 필요하더라고요. 데코타일 잘린 면에서 날리는 가루는 옆에 청소기를 두고 바로바로 밀어가며 작업했습니다. 시간은 1시간반 정도 걸렸어요.

It took about an hour and a half to finish the whole project, including cleaning, cutting, and laying the tiles.

작업 전에는 다소 칙칙했던 베란다 바닥이, 데코타일을 깔고 나니 훨씬 밝고 세련된 공간으로 변신했어요.

무엇보다 만족스러웠던 점은 관리의 편리함이었어요. 시공을 마치고 나니 청소기가 가볍게 한 번만 지나가도 먼지와 이물질이 쉽게 정리돼서 청소가 훨씬 간편해졌습니다. 게다가 바닥이 매끈하다 보니 굳이 슬리퍼를 신지 않아도 바로 베란다로 나갈 수 있어서 생활 동선이 더 편리해졌어요.

Before the makeover, the balcony floor looked a bit dull and old. But after laying down the Marble Noble Gray tiles, the space instantly felt brighter, cleaner, and way more prettier.

The best part is, cleaning is so much easier now. I just run the vacuum over the floor, and it looks spotless. Plus, I no longer need to slip on slippers just to step outside — I can walk straight onto the balcony, which is super convenient.
