아니쉬 카푸어 전시회 본 날, 커피 쿠폰도 쓸겸 삼청동 스타벅스에 들러서 간단하게 식사를 했어요.
On the day I visited the Anish Kapoor exhibition, I also stopped by the Starbucks in Samcheong-dong for lunch.
주변에 스타벅스가 많았지만, 굳이 삼청동점을 찾아간 이유는 평점도 좋은 편이고 다른 지점에 비해 한적할 것 같다는 생각이 들었어요.
Although there were many Starbucks locations nearby, the reason I chose to go to the one in Samcheong-dong is because it had good reviews, and I thought it would be quieter compared to other branches.

1.5층으로 올라가는 계단 옆에서 찍어본 사진 :) 한국적인 소품과 세월의 흔적이 느껴지는 커피 관련 도구들이 전시되어있었어요.
I took this photo next to the stairs leading up to the 1.5th floor. There were coffee-related utensils on display, showcasing Korean artifacts and the traces of time.
이 매장은 특이하게 1층, 1.5층, 2층, 2.5층, 3층, 3.5층 이렇게 구분되어있고, 엘리베이터는 1,2,3층에 운행됩니다. 한 건물을 6개의 공간으로 나누어 사용하다보니 굉장히 넓어요.
This store is uniquely divided into six levels: 1st, 1.5th, 2nd, 2.5th, 3rd, and 3.5th floors, with elevators operating up to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors. Since they've divided one building into six different spaces, it feels incredibly spacious.
2.5층은 초록초록한 뷰가 보이고요.
The 2.5th floor offers a green view of trees.
3층에는 테라스도 있는데, 여름에는 운영하지 않는다고 써있었어요. (벌레 때문인가?) 뷰가 딱히 놀라운 자리는 없어서, 저는 2층에 자리를 잡았습니다 :)
On the 3rd floor, there is also a terrace, but it was mentioned that they don't operate it during the summer (perhaps due to insects?). Since there wasn't a particularly stunning view, I chose a seat on the 2nd floor.
사이렌 오더로 주문을 넣고, 앱으로 알림을 받은 후 음식을 받아왔어요. 직원 분이 미소를 지으며 확인해주셔서 정말 기분 좋았어요. 성함 확인하고 칭찬 메세지라도 남겨둘 걸 그랬습니다...
I ordered through the Starbucks app, and the staff member who handed me my food was incredibly friendly. I regret not checking her name and leaving a compliment message...
이날은 가을 시즌 메뉴인 블랙 글레이즈드 라떼와 신메뉴인 멜팅 치즈 베이컨 샌드위치를 주문해보았어요.
On that day, I decided to try the autumn promotion menu, which included the Black Glazed Latte and the Melting Cheese Bacon Sandwich.
블랙 글래이즈드 라떼는 초코 드리즐, 글레이즈드 폼 그리고 번트 카라멜 파우더가 올라간 음료인데요, 아직 날이 더워서 아이스로 주문했어요. 첫입은 달고 끝맛은 씁쓸한 느낌이었습니다. 폼이 아주 쫀쫀하고 맛있더라고요.
The Black Glazed Latte is a drink topped with chocolate drizzle, glazed foam, and burnt caramel powder. The first sip was sweet, but it had a slightly bitter aftertaste. The foam was really creamy and delicious.
멜팅 치즈 베이컨 샌드위치는 참깨 사워도우에, 콜비백치즈, 모짜렐라, 그라나파다노 등 다섯가지 치즈가 듬뿍 들어간 샌드위치에요.
The Melting Cheese Bacon Sandwich is made with sesame sourdough bread and features five kinds of cheese: Colby Jack cheese, mozzarella, Grana Padano, and more.
쭉쭉 늘어나는 치즈 보이시나요. 사워도우라 조금 질긴 빵일까 싶었는데, 굉장히 부드러웠어요.
Can you notice the cheese stretching? I was concerned that the sesame sourdough bread might be somewhat tough, but it turned out to be incredibly soft.
한입 베어무니 베이컨도 보입니다. 저는 핫 샌드위치를 좋아하는 편이라 맛있게 먹었어요 :)
As I took a bite, I could also taste the bacon. Being a fan of hot sandwiches, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
맛있게 먹고 전시회에서 찍은 사진들 정리하며, 인스타에도 올리고... 머리 잘 식히고 나왔어요. 이제 다시 현실로 돌아가서 열심히 또 살아야지요.
After enjoying the meal, I looked at the photos I took at the exhibition and posted some of them on Instagram... It was nice to have some time to myself. Now, it's time to return to reality once again...!
