저희 가족은 한 달에 한 번 정도 은평 롯데몰에 가서 식사를 하는데요, 지난주에는 머리 자르러 갔다가 명동 가츠라에서 저녁을 먹었어요. 어른들은 불고기 전골이 먹고 싶었지만, 아들은 가츠라 뽀로로 어린이 세트를 고집하더라고요. 어른 둘이 아이 한 명의 의견을 이길 수가 없네요...😂
I visit Eunpyeong Lotte Mall about once a month with my family. A few weeks ago, we went to have dinner at Myeongdong Katsura.

Myeongdong Katsura is located on the 4th floor of Eunpyeong Lotte Mall's food court.
저녁 시간이라 식사하러 오시는 분들 많더라고요. 은평 롯데몰은 스타필드에 비해 상대적으로 한산하다고 느꼈는데, 주변에 입주한 아파트가 점점 늘어나서인지 주말에 사람이 꽤 많아졌어요.
Eunpyeong Lotte Mall used to be relatively quiet compared to Starfield Goyang, but with the increasing number of apartments in the vicinity, it has become quite crowded on weekends.
주문은 테이블 위에 올려진 태블릿으로 진행할 수 있어요. 작년만 해도 태블릿 주문이 생소했는데 이젠 어딜 가나 당연해진 느낌이에요.
You can place your orders using the tablets placed on the tables. Just last year, ordering via tablets felt unfamiliar, but now it has become commonplace wherever you go.
아이와 함께 방문하니 아이 전용 식기와 가위, 집게를 바로 준비해 주셨어요.
As I visited with my child, the staff kindly provided kid-friendly utensils, scissors, and tongs.
수저와 티슈는 테이블 옆 서랍에 있습니다.
Spoons, chopsticks and tissues are located in a drawer next to the table.
어린이 메뉴에는 뽀로로 음료가 포함되어 있어요. 4가지 맛 중에서 선택할 수 있었는데, 저희는 밀크맛을 주문했어요.
The children's menu includes a Pororo beverage. You can choose from four different flavors, and we ordered the milk flavor.
주문 메뉴 중 어린이 메뉴가 제일 먼저 나왔습니다 :) 메인 메뉴도 히레 카츠와 가라아게 중에서 선택이 가능한데, 아드님은 히레 2pc로 선택하더라고요.
The children's menu was the first to arrive among our orders. For the main menu, you can choose between Hire Katsu (Pork Tenderloin Cutlet) and Kara-age (Japanese Style Fried Chicken), and my son chose 2 pieces of Hire Katsu.
돈카츠가 도톰하고 바삭해서 아이가 맛있게 잘 먹었어요. 그리고 사족이지만... 우동은 순우리말로 가락국수라고 하더라고요? (이번에 독립기념관 가서 배움...ㅎ)
The Hire Katsu was thick and crispy, so my child enjoyed it a lot. And just as an aside... I learned this recently when I visited the Independence Hall of Korea, that Udon is called 'Garak-guksu' in Korean.
저는 돈코츠 라멘을 주문했어요. 바로 전 날 맵고 자극적인 걸 먹었던지라, 따뜻한 국물이 먹고 싶었는데 돈사골 국물이 불편한 속을 잘 달래주는 메뉴였어요.
I ordered Pork Soup Ramen. I had a spicy and stimulating meal the day before, so I wanted to have some warm broth. The pork soup ramen was a comforting choice for my stomach.
깍두기와 단무지도 1인당 1개씩 나왔어요. 깍두기는 달달한 편이고, 단무지는 얇은 단무지였어요.
Cubed Radish Kimchi and Pickled Radish were served to each person. The Kimchi was sweet, and the Pickled Radish was thinly sliced.
짝꿍은 미소 라멘을 먹었어요. 미소 라멘도 국물이 순하고 든든해서 만족스러웠다고 합니다 :)
My husband had Miso Ramen. He said Miso Ramen had a mild broth, and he was quite satisfied with it.
일본 라멘이 한 번씩 먹고 싶을 때가 있는데, 명동 가츠라도 라멘 후보지로 넣어둬야겠어요. 다음에 속이 괜찮을 때 탄탄멘도 한 번 시도해 보겠습니다.
There are times when I crave Japanese ramen... Maybe I should consider Myeongdong Gatsura as an option. Next time, I'm thinking of giving Tantanmen a try.
