종로에 위치한 워커힐 호텔 중식 레스토랑 [삼일 금룡/31 GeumRyong]

 

워커힐 호텔에서 운영하는 고급 중식당, 삼일 금룡에 다녀왔어요.
I visited the upscale Chinese restaurant, 31 GeumRyong, operated by the Walkerhill Hotel.

삼일빌딩 로비 에스컬레이터

삼일 금룡은 도심에 위치하다보니, 비즈니스 다이닝을 컨셉으로 오픈한 레스토랑이에요. 실제로도 복을 가져다주는, 기운이 좋은 "갈룡음수형" 명당에 위치해 있다고 합니다.
31 GeumRyong is located in Jong-ro and operates with the concept of private business dining. It's situated in an area known as "갈룡음수형" (Gal-ryong-eum-su-hyeong), renowned for bringing good luck and positive energy.

삼일 금룡 입구

워커힐 호텔에서 운영하다보니, 워커힐 멤버십도 사용가능해요. 입구에서부터 매니저님이 맞이해주시는 호텔식 서비스를 제공해주십니다. 직원분들이 정말 다 친절하세요 :)
Since it is operated by Walkerhill Hotel, you can also use the Walkerhill membership. They provide hotel-style service, starting from the entrance, with a manager welcoming you. The staff members are all very kind.

테이블 셋팅

예약을 일찍한 편인지, 청계천이 보이는 뷰 좋은 좌석에 앉을 수 있었어요. 남산 타워도 살짝 보이더라고요. 착석과 동시에 직원분이 따뜻한 자스민티를 준비해주셨습니다 :)
I was able to sit in a seat with a great view of Cheonggyecheon, maybe because I made an early reservation. I could even see Namsan Tower in the distance. As soon as I sat down, a staff member prepared warm jasmine tea.

오이 피클과 짜사이

저는 이날 청계 코스(Cheonggye/72,000원)를 먹었어요. 시즌 메뉴로 구성되고 총 5개의 요리가 나와요.
I had the Cheonggye Course (72,000 KRW) on that day. It's composed of seasonal dishes and includes a total of 5 courses.

옥수수 게살 스프 Special Appetizer

전채 요리로는 옥수수 게살 스프가 나왔어요. 달달한 맛이 났고, 옥수수가 씹히는 식감도 좋았어요.
As the appetizer, a Corn Crab Soup was served. It had a sweet flavor, and the texture of the corn was delightful.

망고 크림 새우 Deep Fried Shrimp with Mango Cream Sauce

두번째 요리는 망고 크림 새우였어요. 달콤한 망고와 크림 소스, 새우튀김의 조화가 좋은 메뉴에요.
The second course was Deep Fried Shrimp with Mango Cream Sauce. The combination of sweet mango, creamy sauce, and fried shrimp was exquisite.

싱가폴식 쇠안심 Singapore Style Beef Tenderloin Steak

세번째 요리는 싱가폴식 쇠안심이 나왔어요. 단짠단짠한 소스가 듬뿍 뿌려진 안심 스테이크인데, 고기가 정말 부드럽고 맛있어요.
The third course was Singapore Style Beef Tenderloin Steak. It's a sirloin steak generously drizzled with a sweet and savory sauce. The meat is incredibly tender and delicious.

고기 단면도 찰칵. 야채와 곁들여먹다보면 순삭이에요.
The meat is well done, and it forms a delightful combination when paired with the vegetables.

중국식 냉면 Chinese Cold Noodles

식사 요리로는 중국식 냉면이 나왔어요. 짜장면이나 짬뽕, 볶음밥으로도 변경이 가능한데, 저는 바꾸지 않고 그대로 먹었습니다. 처음 먹어보는 중국식 냉면인데 정말 시원하고 맛있더라고요. 전복과 새우 등 올라간 재료도 신선했어요.
For the main course, Chinese Cold Noodles were served. You can also change it to dishes like Jajangmyeon, Jjambbong, or fried rice, but I chose to have it as is. It was my first time trying Chinese Cold Noodles, and they were truly refreshing and delicious. The toppings, including abalone and shrimp, were also very fresh.

겨자 소스와 땅콩 소스

겨자 소스와 땅콩 소스도 제공해주셨는데 기호에따라 육수에 넣어먹으면 됩니다.
They also provided mustard sauce and peanut sauce, which you can add to the broth according to your preference.

후식 Dessert

후식은 망고 셔벳 아이스크림이 나왔어요. 아이스크림 위에 워커힐 초콜릿까지 올려셨어요. 아이와 함께 나눠먹고 싶은 맛이었습니다.  
The dessert was mango sherbet ice cream with Walkerhill chocolate on top. It was so delicious that I regretted not being able to share it with my child.

고급스러운 분위기, 신선한 재료, 맛있는 음식 그리고 서비스까지 제가 지금까지 가본 중식당 중에서는 금룡이 가장 만족스러운 곳이에요. 좋은 일이 생길 때마다, 종종 가고 싶은 레스토랑입니다 :)
31 GeumRyong is the most satisfying Chinese restaurant I've ever been to, with its upscale ambiance, fresh ingredients, delicious food, and excellent service. It's a restaurant I often want to visit, especially for special occasions.
