지난주 토요일, 홍제천 폭포마당에서 추석 장터 행사가 있었어요. 가족과 함께 구경 갔다가 홍제천 폭포 옆에 새로 생긴 생선구이집에 가서 점심을 먹어보았습니다.
Last Saturday, a Chuseok market event took place in front of the Hongje Stream Waterfall. After enjoying the festivities, we decided to have lunch at a recently opened grilled fish restaurant nearby.

원래 고기집이 있던 자리인데, 얼마 전에 생선구이집으로 바뀌었더라고요. 맛이 어떨지 너무 궁금했어요.
This place used to be a barbecue restaurant, but it recently transformed into a grilled fish restaurant. I had noticed it a few times while passing by, and now I finally had the chance to check it out.
영업시간은 오전 10시 30분부터 오후 9시까지라고 써있었는데, 네이버를 확인해보니 오전 11시부터라고 써있네요. 어느 정보가 맞는지 모르겠어요...
The business hours starts from 10:30 A.M. to 9:00 P.M., but when I checked Naver, it said it starts from 11:00 A.M. I'm not sure which information is accurate...
입구 옆에 솥밥 만드는 열판이 가지런히 놓여 있어서 찍어보았습니다. 저는 공기밥을 먹었지만, 솥밥 주문하시는 분들이 많이 보였어요.
Next to the entrance, there was a neatly arranged stove for cooking rice in a pot. While I had plain rice, I noticed that many people were ordering rice cooked in the pot.
벽에 걸린 메뉴판은 평일 점심에만 주문가능한 특선 메뉴에요. 주말에 방문하니 저포함 많은 분들이 헷갈려하셔서 "주말/공휴일 제외"를 더 강조하면 좋을 것 같아요.
주말에는 생선구이를 세트로만 판매하신다고 하셔서, 저희는 통영 생선구이(중)을 주문했습니다.
The menu on the wall featured specials available only during weekday lunches. When we visited on the weekend, many people, including myself, seemed a bit confused. So I thought it might be helpful to emphasize "excluding weekends/holidays" more prominently. Since they mentioned selling grilled fish only as a set on weekends, we decided to order the medium size Tongyeong Grilled Fish Set.
의자의 쿠션 부분을 들어올리면 가방이나 옷을 넣을 수 있는 공간이 있어요. 꽤 큰 수납공간이라 겨울에 외투를 넣기에도 좋아보였어요.
When you lift the cushion of the chair, there is a space where you can put your bag or clothes. It seemed like a quite spacious storage area, suitable for storing winter coats and more.
주문은 태블릿으로 진행하면 됩니다. 이제 신규 매장은 거의 다 스마트 시스템을 도입하는 것 같아요.
Orders can be placed through the tablet. It appears that nowadays, most new stores are adopting smart systems.
수저와 물티슈, 그리고 마른 티슈는 테이블 옆 서랍에 있어요.
Spoons, chopsticks, wet wipes and tissues are located in a drawer next to the table.
가장 먼저 앞접시와 콩나물국을 갖다주셨어요. 생선구이집이다보니, 생선살을 발라먹기 좋은 납작한 접시를 주시네요 :)
First, a small plate and bean sprout soup was served. Since it's a grilled fish restaurant, they provided a flat plate that's perfect for enjoying the grilled fish fillets.
밑반찬은 호박볶음, 김치, 샐러리 절임, 김 그리고 콩나물 무침이 나왔어요.
As for side dishes... stir-fried pumpkin, kimchi, pickled celery, seaweed, and seasoned bean sprouts were served.
셀프 코너에서는 밑반찬 리필이 가능해요. 저는 개인적으로 샐러리 절임이 맛있어서 한 번 리필해서 먹었어요.
At the self-service corner, you can refill the side dishes. Personally, I find the pickled celery delicious, so I got a second serving to enjoy.
기다리다보니 나온 생선구이. 주문에 착오가 생겨서, 처음에 (소)자가 서빙되었었어요. (중)자는 사진에 보이는 생선 외에, 열기가 한마리 더 포함되어있습니다.
For the grilled fish, there was a mix-up in the order. We had requested the medium size, but a small-sized platter was served. Additionally, another fish was brought to the table.
김에 밥과 생선살을 올려서 간장에 콕 찍어먹으니 맛있더라고요. 아이와 함께 먹기에도 정말 좋은 메뉴였어요. 개인적으로 고등어와 갈치가 제일 맛있었습니다.
다음엔 평일에 방문해서 고등어구이를 먹어야겠어요 :)
I loved savoring the combination of rice and fish fillets wrapped in seaweed. The soy sauce added a delicious touch to the experience. It was a great menu to enjoy with my child. Personally, I found mackerel and hairtail to be the most delicious. Next time, I should visit on a weekday to try the grilled mackerel lunch special.
