돌아온 맥도날드 McDonald's [진도 대파 크림 크로켓 버거/Jindo Green Onion Cream Croquette Burger]

 

대.파.격.적 컴백! 9월 21일부터 맥도날드 진도 대파 크림 크로켓 버거가 재판매되기 시작했어요. 지난 프로모션 때 한번 밖에 먹지 못해서 너무 아쉬웠는데, 재판매 소식을 듣고 맥딜리버리로 시켜먹었습니다 :)
Since September 21st, McDonald's has reintroduced the Jindo Green Onion Cream Croquette Burger. I had the opportunity to try it only once during the previous promotion, so I was delighted to hear about its return.

진도 지역은 기온이 온난하여, 추운 겨울에도 땅이 얼지 않아서 겨울철 대파 생육이 가능한 특수성을 가진 지역이에요. 진도산 겨울 대파는 국내 전체 대파 생산량의 18%를 차지할 정도라고 하는데, 대파는 진도 농가의 중요한 소득원이라고 해요.
진도산 대파는 줄기가 곧고 식이섬유, 아미노산 성분의 함량이 높아 대파 특유의 맛과 향이 진한 것이 특징이라고 합니다 :)
The Jindo region is characterized by its mild climate, allowing green onions to thrive even in the cold winter. Green onions from Jindo reportedly contribute to approximately 18% of the total domestic green onion production, making them a significant source of income for local farmers.
Jindo green onions feature straight stems, and their distinctiveness lies in the rich flavor and aroma due to high levels of dietary fiber and amino acids.

진도 대파 크림 크로켓 버거

배달 받고 찰칵! 이번에도 홍제역점에서 주문했는데요, 맥딜리버리는 15,000원 이상 주문시 배송비가 무료이고, 15,000원 미만으로 주문할 경우 배송비 3,000원이 부과됩니다.
홍제점 맥딜리버리 가격은 진도 대파 크림 크로켓 버거 단품이 8,300원, 세트가 10,200원이에요. 무료배송 받기 위해서 맥너겟 10조각(5,500원)도 추가했어요.

I placed the McDelivery order from the Hongje Station branch. The prices at the Hongje branch are 8,300 won for the Jindo Green Onion Cream Croquette Burger on its own and 10,200 won for the set. In order to qualify for free delivery, I included a 10-piece McNugget priced at 5,500 won.
McDelivery offers free delivery for orders over 15,000 won. If your order is less than 15,000 won, there's a 3,000 won delivery fee.

정말 먹고 싶었던 버거였어요. 일단 포장을 열어보았는데, 버거가 뒤집혀있네요...ㅎㅎㅎ
I've really craved this burger for a long time. When I opened the packaging, though, the burger was upside down.

종이띠를 제거하고 나이프로 잘라보았습니다.
I removed the paper band and tried to cut it in half.

구운 대파 마요 소스에 대파 크림치즈 크로켓이 올려져있고, 고기 패티도 1장 들어있어요. 토마토와 양상추도 가지런히 올려져있습니다.
크로켓과 고기 패티의 조합이 느끼하게 느껴질 수도 있지만, 제 입맛에는 넘넘 맛있었어요. 이거 그냥 계속 판매해주시면 안될까요?

The grilled green onion mayo sauce is topped with a green onion cream cheese croquette, and there's also one meat patty. Tomatoes and lettuce are neatly placed as well. The combination of the croquette and meat patty might feel heavy to some, but it was really delicious for me. 

스위트 앤 사워 소스(좌) 케이준 소스(우)

맥너겟은 10조각을 주문할 경우, 소스를 2개 고를 수 있더라고요. 항상 먹던 스위트 앤 사워 소스 1개와 케이준 소스 1개를 처음으로 골랐는데, 케이준 소스가 꽤 매콤했어요.
If you order a 10-piece McNugget, you can choose two sauces. I selected one Sweet and Sour sauce and one Cajun sauce. It was my first time trying Cajun sauce, and it was quite spicy.

케이준 소스는 맵다...🌶

아드님이 먹고 싶어하던 맥너겟이었는데, 케이준 소스는 결국 제가 먹어야했습니다...ㅎㅎㅎ 매운거 잘 못 드시는 분들은 참고하세요 :)
I bought the McNuggets for my son, but the Cajun sauce was too spicy for him, so I ended up finishing it. For those who can't handle spicy food well, please take note of this...

인기가 정말 많았는지, 2달만에 재출시 된 진도 대파 크림 크로켓 버거- 프로모션이 끝나기 전에 부지런히 또 먹어야겠습니다 :)
The Jindo Green Onion Cream Croquette Burger is back after only two months, so it must have been really popular. I'd better enjoy it more before the promotion ends!
