문화역서울284에서 진행되는 전시 보러 갔던 날, 서울스퀘어에서 저녁을 먹었어요. 서울스퀘어는 현대카드 주말 무료주차 혜택을 받을 수 있는 곳이기도 해서 부담 없이 종종 가는 곳이에요.
On the day I went to see an exhibition at Culture Station Seoul 284, I had dinner at Seoul Square. Seoul Square is a place I often visit at weekends, as it is a location where you can enjoy free weekend parking benefits with Hyundai Card.
이 날은 이탈리안 레스토랑인 [더 플레이스]에서 식사를 했습니다. 그간 했던 블로그 포스팅을 보니, 제가 양식을 많이 좋아하나 봐요. 이탈리안 레스토랑이 유독 많네요 :)
On that day, I went to an Italian restaurant called "The Place."
- 위치: 서울 중구 한강대로 416 1층 (남대문로5가)
더 플레이스 서울스퀘어점은 1층에 위치해 있어요. 입구의 디스플레이를 보니, 최근 알베르토가 광고를 찍었더라고요. 아드님이 톡파원 25시에 나오는 외국인이라며 알아보았어요ㅎㅎㅎ
[The Place] Seoul Square branch is located on the 1st floor. When I looked at the display at the entrance, I noticed that recently Alberto had filmed an advertisement. My child recognized him as the foreigner who appears on the TV program "Talkpawon 25."
연말이라, 크리스마스 트리도 예쁘게 장식되어 있었어요. 주말이라 비교적 한산해서 좋았습니다.
Since it was the end of the year, there was a Christmas tree beautifully decorated.
이탈리안이다 보니, 테이블에는 스푼, 포크, 나이프가 나란히 세팅되어 있었어요.
As it was an Italian restaurant, the table was set with a spoon, fork, and knife arranged side by side.
아이와 함께 방문해서 유아 식기도 준비해 주셨습니다.
The staff kindly prepared children's utensils for my child.
메뉴는 태블릿으로 보고, 주문할 수 있었어요. 맛있어 보이는 게 많아서 뭘 먹을지 고민되더라고요.
The menu was available on a tablet, making it convenient for us to browse and place orders. There were so many delicious-looking options that it was a bit challenging to decide what to eat.
아들이 고른 샤인머스켓&청포도에이드에요. 샤인 머스켓이 3알 들어있고, 달달하니 맛있었어요.
My son chose the Shine Muscat & Grape Ade. It had three pieces of Shine Muscat, and it was sweet and delicious.
새우가 듬뿍 들어간 쉬림프 로제 파스타가 가장 먼저 나왔어요. 아이가 이 날따라 웬일로 잘 먹더라고요.
The Shrimp Rose Pasta, generously filled with shrimp, was served first. Surprisingly, my child ate well that day.
아이가 꿀을 찍어먹는 피자도 먹고 싶다고 해서, 친퀘 포르마지오 피자도 주문했어요. 다섯 가지 치즈(고르곤졸라, 리코타, 페코리노, 그라나파다노, 피오르 디라테)가 올라가 있고, 꿀과 함께 먹으니 맛있더라고요.
I also ordered the Cinque Formaggio Pizza, as my child expressed a desire to try a pizza with honey. It had five types of cheese (Gorgonzola, Ricotta, Pecorino, Grana Padano, Fior di Latte) and tasted delicious when paired with honey.
이건 제가 먹고 싶어서 주문한 클래식 라자냐에요. 베샤멜&라구 소스와 수제 리코타 치즈, 토마토 소스와 치즈가 레이어링 되어있어요. 소스에 라자냐면을 듬뿍 찍어먹으면 됩니다 :)
I also ordered the Classic Lasagna. It has layers of béchamel & ragu sauce, homemade ricotta cheese, tomato sauce, and cheese. I enjoyed it by generously dipping each bite into the sauce.
이날 좋은 전시도 보고, 식사도 맛있게 하며 주말을 마무리했어요. 더 플레이스는 깔끔하고 분위기가 좋아서 데이트나, 연말 가족 모임 장소로 추천드리고 싶은 곳이에요.
On that day, while enjoying a nice exhibition and a tasty meal, I wrapped up the weekend. The Place is a clean and inviting place, and I would recommend it as a great spot for dates or year-end family gatherings.
