신세계백화점 강남점 커피 맛집ㅣ응커피 [%ARABICA]

하우스오브신세계에서 식사 했던 날, %아라비카(ARABICA) 매장으로 자연스럽게 발걸음을 옮겼어요. 위치가 하오신 바로 옆이라 동선이 잘 맞더라고요. 예전 교토 여행 때 정말 맛있게 마셨던 기억이 있어서, 비교도 해볼 겸 들러보았습니다 :)

After finishing our meal at House of Shinsegae, we made our way over to %ARABICA, which is located right next door. I had such a great experience at their Kyoto store a few years back, so I was curious to see how the Seoul location would compare.

저는 오전 11시 30분쯤 조금 일찍 방문했는데, 다행히 대기 줄은 없었지만 자리는 많지 않았어요. 역시 센트럴시티에서 인기 있는 카페 중 하나라는 게 실감되더라고요.

We arrived around 11:30 AM, so there wasn’t a line yet, but seats were already half full. Definitely still one of the more popular cafés in the area.

매장에 들어서자마자 깔끔하고 미니멀한 %아라비카 특유의 인테리어가 눈에 들어왔어요.

카운터

화이트 톤의 조명과 가구 덕분에 환하고 밝은 느낌이었고, 한쪽 벽에는 MD 상품을 진열해둔 공간도 눈에 띄었답니다.
커피를 즐길 수 있는 좌석은 매장 양옆으로 길게 배치되어 있었지만, 좌석 자체가 편안한 편은 아니어서 오래 머물기보다는 가볍게 한 잔 즐기기 좋은 분위기였어요.

On one side, there’s a neat display of branded MD items, and the seating area extends along both sides of the shop. The seats aren’t the most comfortable, but the space feels airy and stylish.

사이즈에 따라 진열된 % 종이컵들

카운터 앞에는 항상 이렇게 매장용 %ARABICA 종이컵이 크기별로 깔끔하게 진열되어 있었어요.
심플한 디자인 덕분에 매장 분위기와 잘 어울리면서도, 실제 음료를 주문할 때 참고하기 편리했답니다.

At the counter, their signature % logo cups are neatly displayed by size — simple but visually satisfying.

픽업 카운터

픽업 카운터에는 음료가 뚜껑 없이 서빙되기 때문에, 손님들이 필요에 따라 사용할 수 있도록 뚜껑, 코스터, 각설탕, 시럽, 빨대, 티슈, 스틱 등 다양한 용품이 마련되어 있었어요.

Since drinks are served without lids, the pickup counter provides everything you might need:
lids, coasters, sugar cubes, syrup, stir sticks, straws, and napkins.
It’s all neatly arranged so you can customize your drink just the way you like.

교토 라떼 Hot / Ice

주문한 음료는 교토 라떼 아이스 한 잔과 따뜻한 교토 라떼 한 잔이었어요. 가격은 7천 원대로 교토 현지에서 마셨던 가격에 비해 비싼 편이지만, 따뜻한 라떼는 라떼아트도 정성스럽게 올려져 있어서 보는 재미가 있었어요.
맛은 역시나 고소하고 풍미가 진해, 맛있더라고요.

We ordered a cup of Iced Kyoto Latte and Hot Kyoto Latte.

Both were around the 7,000 KRW range, so a bit pricey — but expected for this brand. The hot latte came with a pretty bit of latte art, and both drinks had that signature nutty, smooth flavor I remembered so well.

아라비카는 가격대는 다소 있지만, 그만큼 일관된 맛과 퀄리티를 유지해주는 곳이라 갈 때마다 만족도가 높아요.
교토에서 처음 마셨던 그 감성을 서울에서도 느낄 수 있다는 점이 특히 좋았고, 하우스오브신세계와 바로 붙어 있어 식사 후 잠시 들러 커피 한 잔 하기에도 최적의 위치예요.

강남에서 깔끔한 분위기 + 안정적인 스페셜티 커피를 찾는다면, 신세계백화점 강남점의 %아라비카는 여전히 추천할 만한 카페였어요.

Although the prices lean toward the higher side, %ARABICA consistently delivers great quality. I loved that I could relive a bit of my Kyoto experience right here in Seoul. And with its convenient location right next to House of Shinsegae, it’s perfect for grabbing a good cup of coffee after a meal or shopping.

If you’re looking for clean vibes + reliable specialty coffee in Gangnam, this %ARABICA location is definitely worth a visit.
