교토 카페_아라비카 교토 히가시야마[% ARABICA Kyoto Higashiyama]

점심 식사 후, 교토 아라비카 커피 히가시야마로 슬슬 걸어갔어요. 교토에 왔으니 응 커피는 마셔봐야겠죠.
After lunch, I strolled over to % Arabica Kyoto Higashiyama. Being in Kyoto, I thought I should try their coffee, as it's originated from this city.

카페 전경

카페 규모는 그리 크지 않고, 좌석도 많지 않아서 내부가 조금 복잡하긴 했어요.
It was a cozy cafe with limited seating, resulting in a crowded atmosphere.

% 로고가 인쇄된 컵들

% 로고가 글자 '응'과 비슷해서 응 커피라고 부르는 게 더 익숙하게 느껴졌어요. 삼성동과 한남동에도 매장이 있지만, 전 교토에서 처음 마셔보았습니다.
The "%" logo resembled the Korean character '응' (eung), making it feel more familiar to call it "응 커피" (Eung Coffee). While there are branches in Samseong-dong and Hannam-dong as well,  this was my first time trying it in Kyoto.

기다리며 찰칵

웨이팅은 그리 길진 않았던 것 같아요. 직원 2분이 주문을 받고 커피를 내려주시는데, 손님이 많아도 분위기가 참 차분하더라고요.
Two staff members were taking orders and serving coffee, and even with many customers, the atmosphere remained quite calm.

처음 왔으니 따뜻한 교토 라떼를 주문해 봅니다 :)
Since it's my first time here, I ordered a warm Kyoto Latte.

바게트 샌드위치

배가 부르지 않았다면 % 바게트 샌드위치도 먹어보고 싶었는데, 자리도 불편하고 점심 식사를 한 직후라 맛보진 못했어요. (지금 다시 보니 못 먹은 게 너무 아쉽네요;)
If I hadn't been full, I would have liked to try the % Baguette Sandwich as well. However, the seating was uncomfortable, and since I had just finished lunch, I didn't order one...

진동벨

주문 후 받은 진동벨.
 I received a vibrating pager after placing my order.

시럽, 우드스틱, 뚜껑, 코스터, 냅킨 등

음료가 나오는 공간에는 시럽, 각설탕, 우드스틱 등도 준비되어 있어요.
In the area where the drinks are prepared, syrups, individual sugar packets, and wooden stirrers are also provided.

교토 라떼

예쁜 라떼 아트가 그려진 교토 라떼. 종이컵에 꽉 차게 담아주시기 때문에 조심조심해서 들고가야해요. 실제로 앞서 주문했던 분이 음료를 들고가다 쏟는 모습도 봤어요;
The Kyoto Latte was served with beautiful latte art. Since it's filled to the brim in a paper cup, you have to be careful when carrying it. I actually witnessed someone who accidentally spilled their drink.

명함도 예뻐서 한 장 찍어보았고요.
I loved the simple % logo printed on the business card.

시럽 기념샷

혹시 몰라서 시럽도 하나 챙겼는데, 교토 라떼는 시럽을 타지 않아도 고소하고 부드러워 정말 맛있더라고요. 원두의 풍미도 진짜 좋습니다.
최근 마셔본 라떼 중 제일 맛있어서, 국내 매장도 시간될 때 한 번 방문해서 맛을 비교해보고 싶어요 :)
I grabbed a syrup just in case the latte might be bitter, but it was so deliciously nutty and smooth even without it. The flavor of the beans was truly exceptional. It's the best latte I've had recently, so I'd like to visit one of their domestic stores sometime to compare the taste!
