2024년이 어느새 나흘이나 지났네요. 저는 새해 첫날부터 몸살감기에 걸려서 골골대고 있어요. 연말에 개인적으로 힘든 일이 있기도 했고, 아이가 방학이라 삼시세끼 차리며 엄마표 공부 시켜가며 바쁘게 보냈더니 몸이 못 버텼나 봐요...😂ㅎㅎ
새로이 시작하는 마음으로, 작년에 샀던 도마를 꺼내서 뜯어보았습니다 :)
2024 is already in its fourth day, and I've been dealing with a severe cold since the beginning of the new year. Personally, the end of the year brought its own set of challenges,,,, managing childcare, cooking three meals a day, and teaching my child during the vacation kept me quite busy. With a fresh start, I decided to unwrap the new cutting board I purchased last year.

조셉조셉 도마는 작년 패밀리 세일 때 5만 원에 구입했던 제품인데요. 찾아보니 패밀리 세일이 아니더라도, 이 제품은 인터넷 최저가로 5만 원에 구입할 수 있더라고요.
아까워서 못 뜯고 있다가 변색된 도마를 보고서야 꺼냈어요. 기존에 쓰던 도마가 5년 정도 됐는데, 찾아보니 권장되는 도마의 교체 주기는 6개월이더라고요. 아까워할 게 없었네요. 오 마이갓.....
Last year during the family sale, I bought this cutting board for 50,000 won. Interestingly, even outside of the sale, I discovered that this product is available on the internet at the lowest price of 50,000 won. The one I had been using for about 5 years was discolored, and I recently learned that the recommended replacement cycle for a cutting board is 6 months. lol

조셉조셉 폴리오 양면 도마는 크기도, 종류도 여러 가지인데요. 가장 무난해 보이는 실버 색상으로 구입했어요. 보관함이 스텐 소재인가 했는데 플라스틱입니다.

도마 보관함은 바닥에도 물 빠짐 구멍이 있고, 통풍이 잘 되는 구조예요.

도마는 총 4개 들어있어요. 생선류, 육류, 야채, 가공식품 또는 김치류 요 정도로 나눠서 사용하면 될 것 같아요. 크기는 30 ×20cm로 아담한 편인데 저희 집에 있는 6인용 식기세척기에 쏙 들어가서 좋네요. 하지만 김치 썰기에는 조금 작은 느낌이라, 일반적으로 라지 사이즈가 더 인기가 있는 듯해요.
제품의 내열온도가 표기되어있지 않아서 고객센터에 문의해보니 조셉조셉 도마는 식기세척기 사용이 가능하나, 고온에 너무 오래 노출시키지 말라고는 하더라고요. 저는 필요할 때 그냥 돌립니다...ㅎㅎ BPA free 소재라 환경호르몬 노출 걱정은 덜한 제품이에요.
There are a total of 4 cutting boards. They seem practical for various purposes, such as fish, meat, vegetables, and processed foods or kimchi. The size is 30 × 20cm, fitting nicely into my 6-person dishwasher. However, it feels a bit small for cutting kimchi, so generally, the larger size seems to be more popular.
손잡이도 있고 모서리마다 미끄럼방지 처리도 되어있어, 칼질할 때 편하더라고요.

도마 표면은 매끄럽지 않고 오돌토돌해요. 세라믹칼을 주로 사용하다 보니, 칼자국은 적게 나는 편이에요. 아직은 새 거라 씻었을 때 물방울이 또르르 흘러내리네요.
The cutting board surface is not smooth but has texture. Since I mainly use ceramic knives, there are fewer knife marks. As it's still new, water droplets trickle down when I wash it.
이제 또 힘내서 가족들의 건강한 밥상을 책임져야겠죠. 작년에 만 나이로 바뀌지 않았다면 한국 나이로는 마흔이라, 이제 정말 몸과 마음을 잘 돌봐줘야 하는 시기가 되었어요. 올해도 별 탈 없이 건강하게 잘 보낼 수 있기를 간절히 바라봅니다🙏
If there wasn't an age change in Korea last year, I would be in my forties now, and it's a crucial time. I hope to get through this year without any major problems, staying healthy and well.
