소공동 롯데백화점 본점 지하 1층 [크리스피 크림 도넛/Krispy Kreme Doughnuts]

 

명절 직전, 양가에 드릴 선물 쇼핑하러 롯데백화점 본점에 다녀왔어요. 간식 먹으려고 지하 1층을 구경하는데, 아드님이 갑자기 도넛이 먹고 싶다고 하더라고요. 그리하여 오랜만에 먹게 된 크리스피 크림 :)

Before the holidays, I visited Lotte Department Store in Sogong-dong to shop for gifts for my family. While browsing the underground floor for snacks, my son started craving for donuts. So, we ended up enjoying Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

카운터

주문은 무인 키오스크에서 진행해야해요. 제가 대학생이었을 때, 도넛 네온사인이 켜져 있으면 무료로 오리지널 글레이즈드 도넛을 나눠주던 프로모션이 있었는데! 너무 오래전이네요.
There is a counter, but orders must be placed at the unmanned kiosk. Back when I was a university student, there was a promotion where, if the donut neon sign was lit, they would give out free original glazed donuts! It feels like such a long time ago.

딸기 시즌

주문 전, 아드님과 쇼케이스 구경을 먼저했어요. 딸기철이라 핑크핑크한 도넛들이 많이 보이더라고요.
Before placing the order, I took a look around the showcase with my son. We noticed many pink and vibrant colored donuts, likely due to the strawberry season.

신메뉴들

저 동물 모양 도넛들 진짜 귀여운데, 의외로 아이는 무관심했어요. 그냥 오리지널 글레이즈드와 슈거 코티드, 초코 홀릭을 먹고 싶다하더라고요.
Those animal-shaped donuts are indeed adorable, but surprisingly, my child didn't show much interest. He simply expressed a desire to have the original glazed, sugar-coated, and chocolate-holic donuts.

테이블 좌석

매장이 지하 1층에 오픈된 형태로 있어서, 테이블도 4개 정도만 배치되어 있어요. 백화점 내에는 사람이 많았지만, 대부분 테이크아웃으로 도넛을 사가는 느낌이라 다행히 앉아먹을 수 있었어요.
In the store, there are only about four tables. Although the department store was crowded, most people appeared to be purchasing donuts for takeout. Luckily, we were able to find seats and enjoy our snack.

오리지널 글레이즈드 한입 냠

요즘 도넛 프랜차이즈도 워낙 많아져서인지, 크리스피 크림 도넛은 크기가 아담하게 느껴졌어요. 먹다보니 도넛 1개는 순삭. 여전히 맛은 있더라고요. 대학생 때 수업 끝나고 더즌 한 박스 사서 집으로 오던 추억도 있고, 아이도 좋아해서 앞으로도 종종 방문하게 될 것 같아요 :)
I had a wonderful time with those donuts that day. In the old days, I remember picking up a dozen after school and bringing them home. Since my kid also likes them, I'd better stop by occasionally.
