오키나와 5일차는 츄라우미 수족관에서 보냈어요. 아메리칸 빌리지에서 2시간 정도 차로 이동해야했는데, 날씨가 진짜 심하게 좋았어요.
오키나와에서 지낸 날 중, 가장 바다색이 예뻤기에 아쉬운 마음 한가득이었습니다. (하 내일이면 떠나야하다니...)
On the 5th day in Okinawa, we visited the Churaumi Aquarium. It took about 2 hours by car to get there from American Village, but the weather was exceptionally pleasant. It was a pity that I had to leave the next day, especially considering how beautiful the color of the sea was.

츄라우미 수족관은 단순히 수족관만 있는 게 아니라, 하나의 큰 테마 파크 같았어요. 여유가 있었다면 입구의 키즈 놀이터에서도 조금 놀고 구경했을텐데, 여행하다보면 일정이 늘 생각보다 바쁘네요.
The Churaumi Aquarium wasn't just a simple aquarium; it felt like a large theme park. If I had been more time, I would have liked to play a bit and explore the kids' playground at the entrance.
저희는 T멤버십 어플을 통해 티켓을 온라인 구매한 후, 츄라우미 수족관 5분 거리에 있는 우미카지 마켓에서 미리 티켓을 교환하여 방문했어요. 우미카지 마켓도 구경거리가 많더라고요...!
We purchased tickets online through the T-membership app and exchanged them in advance at a place called Umikaji Market, located just 5 minutes away from the Churaumi Aquarium. Umikaji Market itself also had a lot to see and explore.
양치컵으로 쓰면 귀엽겠다 싶었던 스팸 컵~ 사진만 찍었어요.
These cups seemed like great gifts or souvenirs. I just took some photos of them.
입장하면 보이는 바다... 색감 실제로 보면 넋이 나가요 :)
츄라우미 가면 꼭 봐야하는 두 가지가, 1️⃣고래상어 밥 먹는 모습과 2️⃣오키짱 돌고래쇼라고 하더라고요. 둘다 시작 시간 일단 확인하고 입장했습니다.
When visiting Churaumi, make sure to see 1️⃣ the spectacle of whale sharks eating and 2️⃣ the Okichan dolphin show. We checked the starting times for both before entering.
가장 먼저 본 The Sea of Tropical Fish. 여기도 밥 주는 시간이 정해져있는데, 궁금하신 분은 시간 맞춰 관람해도 됩니다 :) 저희가 갔을 때는 13:00, 15:30 이었어요.
The first thing we saw was "The Sea of Tropical Fish." The feeding times are scheduled here as well. When we went, the feeding times were at 13:00 and 15:30.
물멍... 수족관이 뭔가 주제별로 깔끔하게 나눠져 있어서 좋았어요. 애매하게 이것저것 많지 않고, 보기좋게 꾸며져있었습니다.
The aquarium was neatly organized by theme. It was well-decorated and easy to navigate.
열대어들 색이 참 예쁘죠. 수영을 하루 더 못해서 아쉬웠는데, 나름 쾌적하게 스노쿨링 하는 기분이었어요.
Tropical fish have such beautiful colors. Although I missed out on swimming for another day, watching the tropical fish felt like experiencing snorkeling in a relatively comfortable setting.
복어도 보고... 몸을 부풀렸다가 쪼그라드는 모습이 신기했어요. (츄라우미에 오니, 관광지라 한국인이 많이 계셨어요. 여기저기 들리는 한국말ㅋㅋ)
We also saw pufferfish. It was fascinating to witness them puffing up and then shrinking back down.

구경하다보면 나오는 대형 수족관. 고래상어와 가오리들이 헤엄치는 모습이 인상적이에요. 여기서 몇시간을 앉아서 물멍해도 지겹지 않았을 듯요.
'Journey to the Kuroshio Sea' is the highlight of the Aquarium. The impressive sight of whale sharks and manta rays swimming is truly captivating.
15:00까지 기다리다가, 고래 상어 밥 먹는 모습도 봤어요. 사람 몇명은 족히 빨려 들어갈듯한 흡입력이라 놀라웠습니다.
We waited until 15:00 and also witnessed the spectacle of whale sharks feeding. The suction power of the whale shark seemed strong enough to easily pull in a few people.
실내 수족관을 다 돌고 나서는 젤라또 아이스크림도 사먹고요.
After touring the indoor aquarium, we also enjoyed some gelato ice cream.
밖으로 나가보면 해변이 있는데, 수영은 할 수 없는 곳입니다. 해수욕 하고 싶을 경우 가까운 에메랄드 비치를 이용해달라고 써있어요. 바라만 보아도 예쁜 곳이라 사진 팡팡 많이 남겼어요.
Outside there's a beach, but swimming is not allowed there. If you wish to go for a swim, they recommend using the nearby Emerald Beach. It's such a beautiful place.
실외에 있는 바다 거북이도 관람하고요.
We also observed the sea turtles outdoors.
오키짱쇼까지 시간이 조금 남아서, 돌고래 시어터 쪽에서 간식거리 사먹었어요.
We had some time left before the Okichan show, so we grabbed some snacks near the dolphin theater.
냥이도 한 마리 있더라고요. 뭐 얻어먹고 싶은지, 테이블 주변을 계속 어슬렁어슬렁거리던 녀석.
There was also a cat around. The little fellow kept wandering around the tables.
오키짱쇼는 가장 마지막 타임(17:00)을 관람했어요. 저희가 방문했을 때 오키짱 극장이 공사중이라, 옆의 돌고래 라군에서 공연을 하더라고요. 일본 돌고래들은 미국 돌고래들에 비해 상대적으로 얌전하고 조용했어요ㅎㅎ 시키면 뛰어오르고, 장난감도 가져오고, 오랜만에 보니 재밌었습니다.
We watched the last performance of the Okichan show at 17:00. When we visited, the Okichan Theater was under construction, so the show took place at the nearby Dolphin Lagoon. The dolphins would jump up and bring toys when asked, it was entertaining to watch.
떠나기 전 바다도 마지막으로 한 번 더 보고.
Before leaving, we took one last look at the sea.
해지는 모습도 관람했어요. 선셋비치 옆 호텔에서 지냈는데, 선셋비치에서는 단 한번도 석양을 본 적이 없었네요.
We also enjoyed watching the sunset.
이렇게 오키나와에서의 마지막 공식 일정이 끝났어요. 그리고 저녁 먹으러 열심히 아메리칸 빌리지까지 또 2시간을 달려갔습니다...
And that was the last official schedule in Okinawa. Afterward, we drove for another 2 hours to American Village for dinner...
