오사카 여행 일정을 약 일주일로 잡으면서, 교토도 당일치기로 하루 다녀왔어요. 식사했던 곳은 제외하고, 돌아다닌 곳만 포스팅에 간략하게 정리해보았습니다.
During my trip to Osaka, I also visited Kyoto for a day. Excluding the places where I had coffee or meals, I briefly summarized the places I visited in this post.
넷째날은 아침 일찍 일어나, 부지런히 한큐 교토선을 타러 갔어요. 교토 가와라마치역에서 내릴 예정인데, 마침 특급 열차 첫차 출발시간에 맞춰 도착할 수 있었어요.
That day, I woke up early to catch the first express train. My plan was to disembark at Kyoto Kawaramachi Station.
미리 교환해둔 한큐 투어리스트 패스는 이렇게 개찰구에 넣어서 사용했어요.
I used the Hankyu Tourist Pass that I had exchanged in advance. You can use it by simply inserting it into the ticket gate.
1Day 패스라 티켓에 날짜가 딱 찍히더라고요.
Once you use the 1-Day pass ticket, the valid date is printed exactly on it.
마주보는 좌석이 있어서, 가족끼리 열차에 앉아 창밖 풍경을 구경하며 갔어요. 특급을 타면 교토까지 1시간도 채 걸리지 않기 때문에 이동이 전혀 힘들지 않더라고요.
There were seats facing each other, so my family and I sat together on the train, enjoying the scenery outside the window as we traveled. Since the express train takes less than an hour to reach Kyoto, the journey was quite comfortable.
늦지 않게 우메다로 돌아가야하기 때문에, 역밖으로 나가기전에 막차 시간도 미리 확인해보고요.
Since we needed to return to Umeda that day, we made sure to check the last train schedule before exiting the station.
저희는 아이와 함께 도보로 이동해야했고 교토는 어차피 하루만에 다 둘러보기 힘든 곳이라, 욕심 내지 않고 교토 가와라마치역에서 가까운 곳만 천천히 구경하고 왔습니다 :)
As we were traveling with a child and Kyoto is a place that's difficult to fully explore in just one day, we leisurely explored only the places near Kyoto Kawaramachi Station. Despite this, it turned out to be quite a busy day.
카페에서 간식을 먹으며 잠깐 몸을 녹이고, 처음 갔던 야사카 신사. 동전 던져넣고, 종을 치고 소원도 빌었습니다. (3월부터 또 변화가 많은 시기라 잘 적응하게 해달라고 빌었지요...🙏)
We visited Yasaka Shrine first. There, we tossed coins, rang the bell, and made wishes.
야사카 신사 안에는 간식도 판매하고 있어요. 잠깐 구경하고 점심을 먹으러 갔어요.
Inside Yasaka Shrine, they also sell snacks. After briefly browsing, we went to have lunch.
점심 식사 후에는 갑자기 비가 오기 시작했어요. 해가 뜨다말다 비가 내리다말다, 변덕스런 날씨가 계속되더라고요. 편의점에서 5만원이나 주고, 접이식 우산 3개를 사들고 돌아다녔습니다. 비싸다 생각했는데, 써보니 엄청 가볍고 품질이 좋은 우산이에요.
After lunch, it suddenly started raining. The weather was unpredictable, with the sun alternating with rain. We ended up spending quite a bit of money at the convenience store, purchasing three foldable umbrellas for about 2,000 yen each. Although I thought they were expensive at first, they turned out to be incredibly lightweight and of excellent quality.
응 커피에서 교토라떼 한 잔 마시고, 산넨자카 방향으로 쭉 걸어갔어요. 별도로 포스팅할 예정이지만 여기 교토라떼 진짜 고소하고 맛있었어요.
After enjoying a cup of coffee at % ARABICA, we walked straight towards Sannenzaka.
걸어다니다가, 이토켄과 교토 브랜드인 Sou Sou가 콜라보한 가게에서 귀여운 화과자 꼬치도 사먹었어요. 가게에서 판매하는 소품도 하나 기념으로 사올 걸 그랬어요. 저 숫자로 된 패턴이 Sou Sou의 시그니처 패턴인 거 같더라고요.
While exploring, we came across a shop that was a collaboration between Itohken and the Kyoto brand Sou Sou. Intrigued, my child tasted one of the adorable skewered pastries they offered.
길가다 보이는 오이절임도 궁금해서 하나 사먹어보았고요. 그냥 피클맛이긴 한데, 아삭하고 시원해서 맛있게 먹었어요.
I also tried a cucumber pickle at another shop, simply out of curiosity. Although it tasted similar to regular pickles, its crispiness and refreshing flavor made it quite enjoyable to eat.
걷고 걷다보니 보이는 기요 미즈데라. 여기 도착했을 때는 또 비가 오고 흐립니다. 사람은 무지 많더라고요... 화장실도 들를 겸 안에 살짝 구경만 하고 나왔어요.
After a long walk, we stumbled upon Kiyomizu-dera Temple. When we arrived, it was raining again, and the skies were cloudy. The place was bustling with people... We decided to take a brief look around inside before leaving.
기요 미즈데라 구경 후엔 다리가 너무 아파서, 카페를 찾아들어가 간식 먹으며 잠시 휴식을 취했어요. 교토에도 노키즈존 카페들이 종종 있어서, 잘 알아봐야하더라고요...🥲
After touring Kiyomizudera, my feet were killing me, so we went to a cafe to grab some snacks and take a brief rest. I noticed that some cafes don't allow children, so it's something to keep in mind when exploring the area.
궁금했던 디앤디아파트먼트(디자이너 소품 가게)도 구경해보고, 초밥집에 가서 저녁 식사 후, 다시 교토 가와라마치역 쪽으로 이동했어요. (교토에서 저녁으로 먹었던 고등어초밥도 종종 생각 나는 음식 중 하나에요.)
We also went to D&Department for a look around, then headed to a sushi restaurant for dinner. Afterward, we made our way back towards Kyoto Kawaramachi Station.
교토의 밤은 또 느낌이 달라요. 시죠 거리는 백화점과 쇼핑몰이 있다보니, 굉장히 세련된 분위기에요.
The atmosphere in Kyoto at night is quite different. With department stores and shopping malls, Shijo Street has a very stylish vibe.
떠나기 전 스타벅스에 들어가서, 교토 빈데어 머그컵도 하나 샀어요. 산리오샵에서 시나모롤 파우치도 사고. 다시 우메다로 돌아왔습니다.
Before leaving, we popped into Starbucks and bought a Kyoto Been There mug. We also got a Cinnamoroll pouch from the Sanrio shop. Finally, we made our way back to Umeda.
우메다역에서 앉아서 오갈 수 있기 때문에, 정말 이동이 편했어요. 숙소를 우메다에 잡은 건 정말 신의 한수였던 것 같아요. 다음에 또 갈 기회가 있다면, 그 때는 교토에도 숙소를 잡고 며칠 더 지내보고 싶어요 :)
Being able to travel back and forth from Umeda Station made transportation incredibly convenient. Choosing accommodation in Umeda turned out to be a wise decision. If we have the chance to visit again, I'd love to book a place to stay in Kyoto next time and spend a few more days exploring the city.
