지난 주말 신당동 나들이 할 때, 저녁 먹으러 [미국식]이라는 햄버거 맛집에 갔어요. 신당역에서 걸어가며 힙당 분위기를 한 껏 느낄 수 있었는데, 낡고 허름한 가게 사이사이 젊고 힙한 분위기의 카페나 식당들이 하나둘씩 자리잡고 있더라고요. 성수동과는 또 다른 느낌이었어요.
Last weekend, I went to a hamburger restaurant called [미국식/MICOOKSIK] to have dinner. As I walked to the restaurant, I was able to experience the hip atmosphere of Sindang, which is now called Hipdang these days. In between the old and shabby alleys, there were young and hip cafes and restaurants gradually taking their places.

15:00 ~ 17:30까지 브레이크 타임이라, 저희는 웨이팅이 길수도 있다는 생각에 오후 5시쯤 갔어요. 다행히 가게 앞은 한산했어요. 의자가 2개 있길래 포토타임 가지며 기다렸습니다 :) 5시 20분쯤 되니 2~3팀이 줄서기 시작하더라고요.
The break time is from 15:00 to 17:30, and I heard that there might be a long waiting line, so we arrived around 5:00 P.M. Luckily, the front of the restaurant was quiet. There were two chairs available, so we took some photos while we were waiting. Around 5:20 P.M., 2 to 3 groups started lining up.
5시 30분 정각에 입장하니 빠르게 자리가 채워지기 시작했어요.
식당 내부는 미국 다이닝 레스토랑 같은 느낌이에요. 음악 대신, 미국 라디오가 흘러나오더라고요. 주문은 카운터에서 선불로 진행됩니다.
The interior of the restaurant exudes an American dining atmosphere. Instead of traditional music, an American radio station plays, enhancing the overall ambiance. Orders are placed at the counter using a prepaid system.
테이블에는 메뉴판과 하인즈 케찹, 하인즈 머스터드, 스리라차 칠리 소스가 셋팅되어있어요.
On the table, you'll find a menu, Heinz ketchup, Heinz mustard, and Sriracha chili sauce.
메뉴는 단일 메뉴라, 고민할 필요가 없어요. 버스트 버거 1종류만 판매되고 있고 사이드 메뉴는 Tater tots라는 동그란 감자 튀김이에요.
Since the menu offers only one type of burger, the "Bust Burger," there's no need to worry about making a choice. As for the side menu, they offer Tater Tots, which are round-shaped fried potatoes.
생수나 종이컵, 빨대 그리고 티슈는 주문받는 카운터 왼쪽에 준비되어있어요. 필요한 만큼 가져가면 됩니다.
Drinking water, paper cups, straws, and tissues are available on the left side of the order counter.
매장 안에는 손 씻는 곳도 마련되어 있어요. 내부에 화장실이 없고, 물티슈를 따로 주시지 않아서 마련한 공간인 것 같아요. 건물 밖에 화장실이 있지만, 컨디션이 그리 좋진 않은 편이었어요.
There is a hand-washing area available inside the store. However, there is no restroom inside the restaurant. It appears that they have designated the hand-washing area as an alternative solution. The restroom facilities are located outside the building, but it should be noted that the condition of the restroom may not be the best.
스프라이트 대신 준비된 칠성사이다- 탄알못이라 맛의 큰 차이를 잘 모르겠어요...ㅎㅎ
Instead of Sprite, they have prepared Chilsung Cider as an alternative. Since I'm not familiar with carbonated beverages, I can't accurately describe the taste difference.
음식은 금방 나왔어요. 트레이에 버거와 감자튀김, 피클과 트러플 마요 소스가 가지런히 놓여 있었어요.
The tray was neatly arranged with the bust burger, tater tots, pickles, and truffle mayo sauce.
미디움 웰던 정도로 익힌 토시살 스테이크가 듬뿍 들어가 있었어요. 빵도 바삭바삭 맛있고, 고기가 질기지 않고 부드러워서 아이가 먹기에도 괜찮았습니다.
The burger had a generous amount of medium-well cooked steak, which was tender and not too tough. The bread was also crispy and delicious. It was enjoyable to eat, and even suitable for children.
소스는 추가로 제공 된 앞접시에 조금씩 덜어서 함께 먹었어요. 트러플 마요소스와 버거의 조합이 좋았고, 감자튀김은 케찹과 머스타드에 번갈아 찍어먹으니 맛있었어요.
개인적으로 음식맛도 좋았고 미국 특유의 매장 분위기도 마음에 들었습니다. 미국 여행 하게 될 날이 곧 오기를 :)
I poured the ketchup, mustard, and chili sauce onto the small plate that was provided. The combination of truffle mayo sauce and the burger was delightful, and dipping the tater tots alternately in ketchup and mustard made them even more delicious.
I personally enjoyed the delicious taste of the food and the authentic ambiance that truly captured the essence of American dining restaurants. It has left me eagerly anticipating my future visit to the United States.
