지난 주말 오랜만에 부산에 다녀왔어요. 저녁으로 회를 배부르게 먹고 아드님 달래주기 위해 방문한 [호랑이 젤라떡] 🐯
I visited BUSAN last weekend. There was this adorable ice cream shop at HaeUnDae.

디저트 가게이지만 브레이크 타임이 있어 의아했어요. 얼마나 인기가 많은 집이길래 휴게 시간이 있는 건지, 맛이 더 궁금해지더라고요.
I was curious about how popular this place must be to have a break time, as I have never seen an icecream shop that has one.
메뉴는 총 6가지에요. 젤라또가 빨리 녹다 보니 보냉 포장이 불가하다고 하네요. 매장에 직접 방문해야만 먹을 수 있는 귀한 음식입니다 :) 저는 해운대에 왔으니 해운대 소금우유맛을 주문해 보았어요.
There are six flavors on the menu. They explained that gelato cannot be cold-packed because it melts quickly, so it's only available for in-store purchases. Since I came to Haeundae, I decided to try the Haeundae Salted Milk flavor.
주문이 들어가면 픽업대 번호를 알려주시고, 그 앞에서 기다리라고 합니다.
After placing the order, they will give you a pickup number and ask you to wait in front of the counter.
동그란 모양으로 만들어진 젤라또 아이스크림들. 직원 분이 아이스크림 위에 찰떡을 얇게 입히고, 하얀 가루를 살짝 묻혀주셨어요.
Gelato icecreams are made in a round shape. The staff thinly spread a layer of sweetened soft rice cake on top of the ice cream and lightly dusted it with white powder.
픽업대에는 물티슈와 나무 포크가 준비되어 있어요. 젤라떡 받을 때 챙겨주시면 됩니다.
At the pickup counter, there are napkins and wooden forks provided. You can take them when receiving your gelato ice cream.
젤라또는 일반 아이스크림보다 녹은 속도가 빠르기 때문에 인증샷은 30초 이내로 찍으라는 안내 문구가 있어요.
There is a notice stating that gelato ice cream melts faster than regular ice cream, so you should take your certification shot (a photo of your dessert) within 30 seconds!
완성된 젤라떡은 찰떡 아이스와 매우 비슷해요. 맛도 비슷ㅎㅎㅎ 가족들끼리 비싼 고급 버전의 찰떡 아이스 같다며 먹었어요.
The finished gelato rice cake is very similar to 찰떡 아이스- a Korean icecream you can find easily at convience stores. The taste is also similar, haha. My family members thought it tasted like an expensive luxury version of 찰떡 아이스.
아쉬웠던 점은 가게 내부에 앉아서 먹을 자리가 없고 출구 바깥쪽에 좌석이 몇 개 있었는데, 바닷 바람이 세게 불었던 날이라 차가운 아이스크림이 더 차갑게 느껴져서 덜덜 떨며 먹었어요.
The only downside was that there was no seating inside the store, and only a few seats were available outside the exit. While the sea breeze was really strong that day, the cold ice cream felt even colder. I was freezing after I finished my ice cream.
아직은 해운대에서만 맛볼 수 있는 별미라 다음에도 또 방문할 의사는 있습니다 :)
It is still a special treat that can only be tasted in Haeundae. Enjoy the round and smooth gelato ice cream!
