오사카 맛집_MR [Manhattan Roll Icecream Links Umeda]

 

호텔로 돌아가는 길에 편의점에서 아이스크림을 사먹을까하다가, 편의점 앞에 있는 아이스크림 가게가 생각나서 먹으러 가보았어요. 우메다 Links 쇼핑몰 1층에 위치해있습니다.
On the way back to the hotel, I thought about buying ice cream at the convenience store. However I remembered there was an ice cream shop right in front of it, so I decided to go there instead.

아이스크림 가게 이름은 MR, Manhattan Roll Icecream이에요. 찾아보니 미국 껀 아니고, 일본에서 만든 브랜드인 것 같아요. 엔데믹 이후 세번째 일본 여행인데 처음 먹어보게 되었네요 :)
The ice cream shop is called MR, Manhattan Roll Icecream. It appears to be a brand originating from Japan rather than the United States. This is my first time trying it.

메뉴

뉴욕 맨해튼에서 영감을 받았는지 귀여운 자유의 여신상 그림도 보이더라고요. 메뉴는 다양하지만, 저는 첫 방문인만큼 MR Classic을 선택했습니다.
It appeared to have drawn inspiration from Manhattan in New York, as I noticed adorable drawings of the Statue of Liberty. Despite the diverse menu, being my first visit, I chose the MR Classic.

요즘 테라피가 필요한데, 아이스크림으로 할 수만 있다면 얼마나 좋아요....

제조 과정

제조 과정을 영상으로 짧게 편집해보았어요. 차가운 팬에 아이스크림을 섞어서 얇게 펴준 후 돌돌 말아주시는데, 예전에 우리나라에 잠깐 들어왔던 콜드스톤이 생각나더라고요. 촬영하고 있으니 직원분이 카라멜 시럽으로 귀여운 미니언즈 그림도 그려주셨어요 :)
I've created a brief video editing the manufacturing process. They spread the ice cream thinly on a chilled pan and then roll it up. It reminded me of Cold Stone Creamery, which had a brief presence in Korea in the past. While filming, one of the staff members even drew adorable Minions using caramel syrup.

My family returned to the hotel, each holding an ice cream.

MR CLASSIC 850엔

가격대가 높은 편이지만, 1인분이 꽤 푸짐한 양이에요. 쿠키앤크림 베이스에 카라멜 시럽이 듬뿍 뿌려져있고, 휘핑크림과 오레오 쿠키, 비스킷, 민트가 토핑되어있어요.
Although it's on the pricier side, each serving is quite generous. It features a cookies and cream base generously drizzled with caramel syrup, topped with whipped cream, Oreo cookies, biscuits, and mint.

카라멜과 쿠키앤크림의 조화

당 충전이 필요할 때 먹으면 기분이 좋아지는 그런 맛입니다 :)
It's the kind of taste that brightens your mood when you need a little boost.

이것저것 많이 먹어서 호텔에서 조금 쉬다가, 간단히 저녁을 해결하기 위해 오후 7시쯤 하나다코 테이크아웃 하러 나갔어요. 제 인생 타코야끼에 대한 포스팅은 내일 하도록 할게요!
After trying out various snacks that day, I was quite full, so I took a short rest at the hotel before heading out around 7 p.m. We went to grab some takeout from Hanada-ko for a simple dinner. I'll save my post about my favorite takoyaki experience for tomorrow!
