홍제동 디저트 카페 [하이드미 플리즈/Hide Me, Please]

 

아이 하교 후, 오랜만에 가족들과 같이 간 하이드미 플리즈- 여전히 동네 카페에서 애정하는 곳 중 하나입니다.

After school, I went to the cafe 'Hide Me Please' with my family for the first time in a while. It's still one of my favorite cafes in Hongje-dong.

전경

홍제동 상권은 나름 있을 건 다 있지만, 동네 정비는 참 느리게 진행되는 것 같아요. 골목골목 사이에 위치한 카페들이 참 소중합니다 :)

The commercial area in Hongje-dong has everything you need, but the neighborhood seems to be developing slowly. I love the small cafes and restaurants tucked away in the alleys.

카운터

사실 도넛이 생각나서 찾아간 건데, 메뉴가 또 리뉴얼되어 아이스크림 호떡과 호또그를 홍보하고 있더라고요. 조금 아쉬웠지만 호떡도 맛있어 보여서 주문해 보았어요.

Actually, I went there because I was craving donuts, but the menu had been updated, and they were promoting ice cream hotteok and hotdogs. Although I was a bit disappointed, the hotteok looked delicious, so I decided to order it.

메뉴

호또그는 소세지 위에 청양 레드 페퍼 마요가 올라간, 맛이 궁금한 핫도그였지만, 아이가 먹기엔 매울 거 같아서 다음에 맛보기로 했어요.

The hotdog was a sausage topped with Cheongyang red pepper mayo, which looked interesting, but I thought it might be too spicy for my child, so I decided to try it next time.

아이스 아메리카노 / 밤 라떼

저는 아이스 아메리카노를, 짝꿍은 밤 라떼를 주문했어요. 이때 만해도 날이 좀 쌀쌀할 때라 밤 라떼가 어울리는 계절이었어요. 시나몬이 머그잔 중간에 올려진 모습이 예쁘죠.

I ordered an iced Americano, and my husband ordered a chestnut latte. At that time, the weather was still a bit chilly, making it the perfect season for a chestnut latte. The cinnamon stick placed in the middle of the mug looked nice.

지글지글 브라우니

기다리다 보니 서빙된 지글지글 브라우니. 에스프레소와 초코 중에서 고를 수 있는데, 저흰 아이랑 같이 먹으려고 초코로 주문했어요. 브라우니 위에 아이스크림이 한 스쿱 올라가고, 직원분이 초코 소스를 뿌려주셨어요. 아메리카노와 잘 어울리는 디저트였습니다 :)

While we waited, our hot brownie order arrived. We had the option to choose between espresso and chocolate, and we went with chocolate since we intended to share it with our child. A scoop of ice cream was delicately placed on top of the brownie, and the staff generously drizzled chocolate sauce over it. It was a dessert that complemented the Americano perfectly.

아이스크림 호떡

아이스크림 호떡도 따뜻하게 구워진 호떡 위에 아이스크림이 한 스쿱 크게 올라가 있는데요, 특이하게 올리브유와 후추가 뿌려져 있어요.

The ice cream hotteok features a generously sized scoop of ice cream atop a warm hotteok. Interestingly, it's sprinkled with olive oil and pepper.

올리브유와 블랙페퍼라니

신기한 조합인데, 맛있습니다.

It's quite an unusual combination, but surprisingly delicious!

이 맘 때쯤 벚꽃 구경하며, 홍제천 산책하며 사진도 많이 찍었었네요.

Around this time, I enjoyed viewing the cherry blossoms and took many photos while strolling along the Hongjecheon stream.

봄바람 휘날리며

아침 먹는 오리들 구경하는 것도 나름 재밌고 신기하더라고요.

Watching the ducks eat breakfast is quite enjoyable and fascinating.

 

3월부터 바쁘게 지내다보니 어느새 여름이 다가왔네요. 이번달은 부지런히 밀린 포스팅들을 올려봐야겠습니다...

I've been busy since March, and suddenly it's summer. I suppose I should make an effort to catch up on posting the backlog...
